Sir,
I had settled my credit card account.
CARD NO. [protected]
Settlement Letter - June'09 for 18999.24
Payment:
June'09 - 3000.00
July'09 - 3500.00
Aug'09 - 3600.00
Sep'09 - 3800.00
Oct'09 - 5100.00 (after approval with Mr.Ravi of HSBC as last date of settlement was 30th September'09)
All details confirmed with the Settlement Customer Care no. at [protected] at 16.38 on 19.8.2010 and further with Bank at my personal visit of HSBC office on 24.8.10.
At my above visit, Bank informed me that my settlement was void, as last date was 30th September and Mr. Ravi left HSBC, so his commitment is not valid. I had to further settle my account for Rs. 30,000/-.
At the time of my last payment, Mr. Ravi was employee of HSBC (not settlement agency), and represent HSBC. His commitment can be deemed to be commitment of HSBC.
Further, no communication was made as of void of above settlement.
