cranck shaft of my Santro Car Xing XG model purchased in Nov 2004 failed just within 3 years.
run nearly 31000 km only and just before the failure It was serviced for Mobile oil and oil filter replacement a couple of days back only
My avearge run per year is only 10,000 Km and I drive very carefully.I have regular check ups from Hyundai service station only.Now the repair cost is too heavy for me Rs 24k for which I requested a compensation to Hyundai through telephones and e-mails,but no positive response came from them.Could any body please suggest how to get a full /moderate compensation from Hyundai and let them believe that it is a manufacturing defect of cranck shafts manufactured during 2004 production beacuse I have read similar complaints of cranck shaft failure in Team BHP forum.The failure has completely shocked me and even after replacement of the cranckshaft I do not believe it would not happen again.
