hi its true i am also one of the victim of icfai.in the beginning they told me that i can withdraw from the course but later i acme to know i have no option for discontinuance of program and had to pay the entire amount...these people are suckers and now they are saying will send legal notices if i dont pay the entire amount

hi i also facing the same problem what to do... they tell i cann't stop the course ... we must pay the full amount...

I was also support your comment and experience about ICFAI harassment and about their threatening call for payment through their professional chap- HICFO MARVAL(who jump in tto the picture when you stop the EMI or wish to withdraw the course)

Even after I have given "n" numbers of calls about the course withdrawal and shifting of the course but no body was even bother about the same since I had issued the PDC and any how I have to make the payment.( I had made almost a payment of INR-25000/- including the course registration fee and couching class fee)

I am going through the same mental agony, every other day I am receiving call from HICFO- ICFAI for the balance payment against the balance course fee and legal notice.

Just wanted to get out from this please suggest a way out.

Hi Mr Ashutosh! From your statement it is clear that you are pursuing the program by opting the payment through EMI. You know any postdated cheque issued cannot be dishonoured. Your problem seems to be due to dishonouring the postdated cheque. Why don’t you send a detailed letter giving reasons for stoppage of payment and your intention to settle the issue once for all. I am sure; someone will go through and respond amicably if you have some genuine problems.

Hello sir, , i got ur email address from forum.Referring to : https://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/icfai-c26255.html m also victim of ICFAI.They started sending me legal notice for payment.They are just harrasing me. Threatening me by phone call.Whats this going on ?? The prospectus clearly says that enrollment is processed on the payment of full fee/installments and the students opting for installment scheme cannot unilaterally decide to stop payment as the enrollment is processed with the explicit essential that you have paid the full fee based in the PDC submitted by you. However in any case you want to discontinue, please approach [protected]@icfaiuniversity.in

I Am Pranay From Mumbai. I Had Taken Admission In Icfai University Through Distant Learning Program In 2008 For MBA But After 10 Month I Had Decided To Left This University Due To I Lost My Job During The Recession But Till That Time I Had already Paid 75% Amount Of Total Course Fees Still I Didn't Ask Them To Refund Me My Amount But They Have Been Continuously Insisting Me For Submit The Pending Amount From Last one & half year ,Why Should I Give The Pending Amount ? Even I Have Discontinued My Study Also I Am Not Attend Any Class which is conducted from ICFAI, Assignments. I Didn't Give Any Exam. Or Not Fill Any Exam Form but Still They Are Harassing Me for Payment and Now They Have Sent Me one courier, That They mentioned: Registered Me on Payment Defaulter.Com and Calling Me There for Settlement. At The Time Of Admission Miss.Rahila (Counselor) Bandra Icfai Branch, Said me, You can Discontinue From Course if you want. But Unfortunately She Left The Icfai & ICFAI Taken Post Dated Cheques From Me Against The Full Course Fees So That I Could Pay Fee Through Installments.& Now They are File Against Cheque Bounce.But I Am Stop The Payment From Bank Against Those 6 Cheques. But It's All Wrong thing is that A Person Is Not like to Studying At All, Left The Study Why Should He Give The Further Study Amount Which He Is Not Studying. So please suggest & Guide Me What Should I Do At This Moment.
But I totally shocked, when they put me on defaulters.com. If I was not communicated about this thing with ICFAI then its my problem, but I am already communicated this thing by mail as well as call also, but SSD-ICFAI only reply me like “there is only entry point not an Exit Point”.
( Note: if suppose I wish to settlement with ICFAI ,then can they provided me MBA degree without attempting any ICFAI exam?) I am not understood about ICFAI policy, I was earlier communicated them I lost my job due to recession period , I meanwhile I suffered to face kidney stone problem, all legal reasons I share with them still they sending me notices by Photon Capital. If I am not interested to get any service from ICFAI then why should I paid fees to them .also they launch me on defaulters.com then why I should keep relation with them & just ICFAI harassing me.
So I launch Complaint in consumer court against ICFAI.

Hi Pranay. This is rahul here from punjab. Don't be disappointed dear, the same thing happened to me but still there is hope. I wud suggest you that just go to your local ICFAI Centre where u took admission and submit your written withdrawl request letter & told them to send your letter to ICFAI HYDERABAD on their behalf & you also do email to SSD i hope u must be having the email addresses, so send the same letter to them & also mention your enrollment number. You would definately get the reply from SSD soon as i have also followed the same process & now my request is on work now. You can also communicate here with ICFAI representative, they do reply here in shortwhile period. But mention ur enrollment number. & rest i[censored] want to know anything u can mail me ( [protected]@hotmail.com ) or call me [protected].

The program prospectus clearly details the prescribed program fee.
Students enrolling into the program are required to remit the fee, as committed at the time of admission into a program.

Changed circumstances, if any need to be indicated for decision by the Admissions Committee. You may send your representation to SSD, for a review.
