I had taken admission for my daughter in Christ University, Yeshwanthpuram Campus on 4 May 2023 by paying Rs 1, 15, 000 in Annual Fees (refundable) and Rs 5000 of Admission fees (Non Refundable). Application Number[protected]

I had requested cancellation of Admission on 26 May 2023 (online) and submitted the cancellation documents to their campus on 2 June 2023. As per the University Grants Commission Policy (https://www.ugc.gov.in/pdfnews/6994492_Fee-refund-polict_0001.pdf) and Christ's cancellation policy (https://christuniversity.in/view-pdf/cancellation), I was supposed to get a full refund of Rs 1, 15, 000 but they only refunded Rs 1, 05, 000. I have been writing to them since 4 July 2023 requesting for a refund of the balance amount of Rs 10, 000 but no one is even bothering to respond to my emails, let alone refund my money.
Need your intervention to resolve this issue and get my Rs 10, 000 back from Christ University.

Its been more than 21 days since the application got accepted for the refund and till now we have not received any refund of the fees for this academic year I have been trying to connect with the office of admission of yeshwanthpur campus through mail and phone but no one is replying.

Please do something about it I've opted for ba English Hons and research. So what should i do now.

I had applied for the BA course (Media and Journalism) for my daughter and also paid the application fee of Rs 1500. However, I received an error from BillDesk and my application status is showing as Incomplete.

I had applied for the Masters of Arts in English in Christ (Deemed to be) University, Delhi NCR. But, the syllabus was changed after a few week's of having paid the admission fees. I had written an application of withdrawal as well as spoken to faculty member about the same, and since there are no other course which I had requested a refund too.
However the there have been no confirmation mail or any response from the office. Furthermore the calls and messages are also being completely ignored. This is an extremely ignorant and unprofessional attitude. I request a response asap.

I cancelled my daughter's admission for the BBA (Finance and International business) at Christ Yeshwanthpur campus online on the 30th July 2022. Also sent the signed copy of the cancellation note on mail to : admissions.[protected]@christ.com on the 8th Aug 2022.
However till date have not received any refund or even a confirmation mail
would request the authorities for a speedy resolution of the refund.

Cancelled admission for Btech cause I had gotten a better university and they said they will refund the amount in 21 days, it’s been well over 24 days and no update, they don’t pick up the call such unprofessionalism,

My son was granted admission in BBA (Finance & International Business) Course in Yeshwanthpur campus for the academic session 2022-23, for which I had paid an advance fee of Rs 2, 15, 000 as per the details given below :

1. Receipt Number 24444 - Rs 2, 10, 000 dated May 7, 2022
2. Receipt Number 24445 - Rs 5, 000 dated May 7, 2022

We also received a mail from you on June 29, 2022 stating that the session in Yeshwanthpur Campus will commence on Aug 4, 2022.

I visited their Yeshwantpur Campus on July 14, 2022 and was shocked to see that the college building was still under construction (Pictures attached). We later decided to go for cancellation of admission on the very same day through the portal and received an acknowledgement mail dated July 14, 2022 from Christ University.

We subsequently received a mail from Christ University on July 18, 2022 acknowledging the receipt of request for cancellation of admission and confirming that I would receive the refund in 21 days.

I have received a refund of Rs 2, 05, 000 only on August 16, 2022 as against a fee of Rs 2, 15, 000 paid to the College. I wrote multiple mails to the college asking the reason for deduction of Rs 10, 000 when the admission was cancelled 3 weeks before the commencement of the classes. This is also against their own admission / refund policy and the directives o[censored]GC where they have specified that colleges / universities will have to refund 100% fee if admission is cancelled before Oct 31, 2022 . After lot of follow ups and mails written to the college, I got a mail from admission cell on Aug 24, 2022 .. stating that Rs 10, 000 was deducted towards registration fee, which is factually incorrect .

Are colleges now above board and have the audacity to violate and ignore UGC guidelines . It is extremely shameful to see that a reputed educational institution like Christ University is resorting to such cheap ways and means to earn money and fleece innocent children .

I had applied for a admission cancellation refund (100% refund, as mentioned in the admission policy) and received a mail on 18th July 2022 stating that - "Your application for cancellation of admission with application no ... has been received. The cancellation and refund process will take about 21 working days."

However, I'm yet to recieve the refund till date. I received the same mail from them on 5th August 2022 again. My mails and calls to the university have been ignored.

It's been a month at this point and this is really disappointing. Do they even plan to refund it at all? It's a huge amount of money and leaving the applicant in the dark like this is extremely unprofessional and rude from their side

I have done all the procedures required to get the refund they also told me that I will get my refund within 21 working days but it has been more than 21 days and I still haven't got my refund yet.
Yeshwanthpur is a new campus n they haven't even answered my call once

I was selected for LLM and had paid the 140000 fees for the same, however I had to cancel my admission and, I had done it by applying on the application status website by clicking on the cancel admission option.
However, I had received the reply to fill the form in ' Annexure 1'. I am not able to find it on website of christ university and neither I am able to login in the 'application status' portal of the website.

My son Priyam Mukherjee was a student MBA- Marketing, ID-1927215, Batch[protected] in Kengeri Campus deposited hostel fees for 2nd year, which is carrying the bill no.-33065, dated- 12th Feb'2020.
Due to Covid-19 hostel not provided from your end and instructed to vacant.
As per your notice the deposited fees will refund to the student account.

My son deposited the all documents through courier in the month of February'2022 and which has been received by hostel Warden.
After long follow up, the payment was not made from your end.

On 23rd July'2022, my son physically reached to kengeri campus and meet with account personnel & Warden to know the fact. Account personnel return his application hard copy and say the application has rejected by the CFO.

It has been observed there was no reason to regards on the form and it is very clear that the form is not move anywhere and without any workout the form has return to my son.

In this regards, I request you please go through this matters and refund the hostels fees as per your notification.

Police gaurds do not behave like humans . They behave like we are servants of them . This is not a government hospital we are paying for each and everything. So they don't have permission to behave like this . Take seriously otherwise I will place FIR for it .

I want to register Complaint regarding TECHNICAL GLITCHES occurring from your side as I couldn't take the scheduled exam on 14th May 6:00 PM ( IST ) for CHRIST UNIVERSITY and this is the second time the same issue occurred on 8th May.
I was able to complete the System Test just prior to the exam and I have been waiting for the exam from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The application (METTL ) has always been showing “WEBCAM NOT FOUND” for over 30 minutes. I tried on my secondary laptop but the same issue was there WEBCAM LIGHT AND MICROPHONE WAS ENABLE AND SHOWING LIGHT. I am attaching a picture for your kind consideration. I tried all possible ways to contact the support team but no satisfactory response from the support team.

Hoping for a considerable response. A reschedule is expected. Hope you do me this favor.

This is gyanvi sharma, yesterday night I filled a form for bachelors in mass media, communication, psychology amd english. The entrance fee of 1500rs was deducted from my account but it wasn't showing on the form. I would request you to contact me soon as my form application would end by today. I, Kinjal Sukhani applied applied for BA in Communication and Media Studies, English and Psychology in Christ University last night.
The application fee of ₹1500 has already been deducted from my debit card but i have received no such update from the University's portal. I can no longer fill the form neither can I get back a refund.
I would request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and take necessary steps.

I live in SG Palyga near Christ college, On Sunday night I was passing through the forum mall and one of your extremely drunk student - Bhavesh from MBA 1st year came pushing me and started a fight and i was not well and I fainted and the police got involved after that.

So I kindly request you to take strict action against that student otherwise i will take christs college name with that student.

I graduated from Christ University, Bangalore (Central Campus) in the year 2020. I did B Com Finance and Accounting and my register number is 1712243. Earlier in 2020, due to covid we received our degree certificates through courier. I received only my degree certificate in the folder and not my consolidated mark-sheet and transfer certificate. As this is my first degree, I didn’t know what are the documents we were supposed to receive. Now when I’m applying for my masters they asked me for my consolidated mark sheet. and I asked my friend if she received one and she said yes. So I sent a mail to office of examination and the replied back with a number and asked me to enquire on this number. I spoke to a ma’am on that number and she was very rude. Later she gave me another number and that person told me you should ask the ma’am we have no idea. So I called her back and she was very rude to me the whole time and said she doesn’t know and hung up. The other sir asked me to come down to the college. I stay in Coimbatore and I have very bad health condition and have been hospitalised for a month. They haven’t been cooperating at all and are very rude. Now I can’t apply for my masters either without the consolidated mark sheet and my deadlines are nearing. I can apply for another one and pay. I just want them to guide me through the steps and not be very rude.

I had withdrawn my admission from Christ university. They are supposed to refund my fees back. It is a very big amount and I still have not received it. Despite of them claiming that they have refunded the amount, I still have not received it. I asked them to provide me the transaction details of the refund, but they refused. How can they deny to provide the transaction detail? They must provide it. So, whatever is the issue behind not getting...

Christ University Lavasa pune is abusing their power.
college is catching students who are found outside their apartments after 11pm even if the student doesn't live in hostel. there is no curfew set by government but the college is making their own rules for the Lavasa city as if they own the whole city. they are forcefully getting in our private apartments without any legal permission. no students is doing anything wrong or illegal. our parents don't have issues with what we do neither our landlord, we are all 18+ and have the right to privacy and right to freedom and yet college is abusing its power outside college campus. All these actions that college is taking is completely illegal and they don't have any right grounds to do so.
we follow all the college rules and regulations inside the college campus but college is invading our legal rights even outside the campus, christ Lavasa is taking advantage of absence of police officials in Lavasa.
Students are getting harassed everyday . we need to take action against this as soon as possible.
