[Resolved] Icfai Institute, Isfs, Hyderabad — Admission fees not refunded | |
the ICFAI University branch ISFS which was to conduct the Admission process in Mumbai earlier has cancelled the mumbai campus suddenly. But i have taken the form of the Course for MBA in Finance from ISFS purely with an intention to study in Mumbai. Now as they have told me earlier that i will seek admissions in Mumbai Campus, but now they are saying that i[censored] r interested u need to go in Hyderabad Campus for the Course. I m purely not in a position to Go anywhere outside Mumbai, so they are cheating me after i hav paid the Admission fees and are not refunding the Admission form Fees of Rs. 1000. Plz. look into this ASAP as many of my friends are also against this and want their money back. We cannot waste our money bcoz of their (ICFAI) decisions. Was this information helpful? | |

Why can’t you speak to the people at the university? If some of the students received the refund, may be you will also.

I am very much agree with the ICFAI misguided the students. Once you take the admission they hardly listen to the student. In my case, I am a working professional and I took my admission in MBA program in ICFAI. While taking my admission I have said my condition to the ICFAI representative about my timing problem and said that I will not have a time more than 2hr on any day, will take my class. if ICFAI is having such a time for me then I am ready to take the admission, and the ICFAI person agreed that we give only two hour class. but when I joined my class, the durations went to 2 to 4, 6 and sometimes 7 to 8hr.
After having word regarding my concern they said write a mail to Rooma Thore, then Rooma said write a mail to Deepa, then the process goes to RSM level person but still I am for the value of my hard earnd money. After so many emails, there is no solutions..
They are not ready refund my money and nor arranging my durations of class, on which they agreed and taken my admission.
I urge all the student that if any University is in such a practice convey this issues to them..as their classes quality is also poor.
And pls go to the Consumer Forum with all the docs so that they will learn their lesson...

Stop applying in ICFAI.
This university is full of culprits.
They take out money from you & then got vanished. There are thousands of complaints regarding them & also they won't have affiliated degree, exams are not transparent.
You can say full wastage of money. one more thing i want to share this man, Dr. T R K RAO is a big fraud, he is hired my the university to stop students for posting complaints against them.
But won't help you in any matter.

ICFAI — fee not refunded
Hi,I was selected for[protected] MBA program at ICFAI Hyderabad (ICFAI University). I payed the first installment of fees.But later I cancelled my admission before the said date. So as per UGC and AICTE rules, fee amount should be refunded after deducting some of it. But still I havent received any amount from them. Some of the students are in a similar situation as mine. Some of them got it also. Calling them also is of no use as they say we'll not refund. I have also sent them a notice. After no response from them, I thought writing to consumer forum may help. Please help !!
