Its very funny to see your comment. u r afraid unnecessarily even though you have not faced any problem. Do u know people like u create this type of panic and make others confused. You don’t have any complain still you visit the complaints forum and posted some confusing comments. This creates only panic nothing more than that. See before taking admission u must have read the prospectus thoroughly and inquire about the university. I[censored] have taken admission its seems u have inquired about the Univ and having satisfied u enrolled yourself.

The university also has separate dept called Student Service Dept to assist all the students. I[censored] face any specific problem anytime, u may write to [protected]@icfaiuniversity.in mentioning your enrollment no. So that you problem will be addressed by SSD.

So focus on study and try enhance ur career prospect.

I am student of ICFAI University pursuing MBA Course from this University. My Enrollement number is MBA 2088292. My profile is, I have completed B.Com, and Completed Chartered Accountant Articleship from Instiute Chartered Accountant of India and even appeared for CA Exam. During CA Exam I have scored 145 out of Total 150 Marks for Group 1st. I Discontinued this CA Course in between because of my family problem. After gap then i decided to Pursue MBA Course from ICFAI University. I joined this course thinking that I will get my MBA Degree in Two years which will become additional Degree to my Career, which will become Ladder to my Job which will promote me for Higher Position. Thinking that I joined and even studied and appeared for Exam by paying Rs.1000/- each time for Group A. After appearing for 5 Times in Group A, still I am not yet able to complete this Group A. Because ICFAI University people failing me in the Subject like " EFFECTVINESS OF BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS" . My Sincere request them whether this Business Communication Subject is very tough compared to Chartered Accountant Course, or else I am not that much intelligent to clear this subject ?

I am not still understood, the person who appeared for CA Exam and high scores in CA, whereas he is not able to complete Group A in 5 attempts, then when he is going to finish remaining Groups, and when he is going to get his MBA???????

Therefore, I hereby complaint against ICFAI attitude towards playing with life of the Students and their career. If this university is interested to earn money by accepting Rs. 1000/- everytime, then what about the quality, the students are expecting from University. I am not one victim of this university. There are many victims of this university. Stop Cheating students, and playing with their careers, Even in Belgaum, they have closed their office. If you are not able to run it properly then at least Refund the Fees which you have collected from the Students.

Neither you are a student of ICFAI University nor u r showing any intention to join any program from that University. So there should not be any reason for this type of misleading comments.

I think ICFAI University is a private university established through an Act of State Legislature and offers the programs as per UGC/DEC guidelines.

Sub: Complain agains ICFAI university, Bangalore/Hydrabad.

Respected authorities please be informed that I enrolled to a Distance learning MCA programme with ICFAI University, Bangalore Kormangla Branch against Enrollment Number :[protected] on 20th April 2010.

I gave 5, 000/- cheque(which is cleared) at the time of admission and 12 Post Dated Cheques for amount 3200/- each under installment scheme.

However on 10th of May my brother got some health problem and when we went for chekup after tests we got to know he has got Kidney problem.Now he is suffering from Renal Failure and surviving on Dialysis which is costing us around 5000/- per Dialysis and he must go through atleast 2 Dialysis a week.

Being a elder brother I have his reponsibility hence I stopped the payment for my MCA Course as I need money for my brother survival.

I also informed ICFAI Branch and Hydrabad Headquarter through by person as well as mails that please dont submit the cheque as I have got such and such problems and would not be able to continue with teh course.However even though they submitted the cheque to the bank and it got Dishonoured as I stopped the payment.

After that I received couple of calls asking for EMI money and I conveyed the same that I have got some family problems and hence would not be able to continue with the course, they suggested me to mail Student Service Dept([protected]@icfaiuniversity.in) and I mailed with all the related information copying Branch Manager Dakshina Moorthy ([protected]@ifenindia.org)also.I also mentioned that Since I am out of city for my brothers treatment, hence whenever I come to Bangalore.

Instead of all these they sent me a Notice from ICFAI University asking to pay the dishonoured cheque amount within 15days otherwise will take legal actions.

I say that here we have such a big problem that I have to save my brothers life anyhow and we are putting all our money/effort for that and for a Distance education course where i already gave 5000/- for admission, and informed also that I will not be able to continue as we have got some problem, even though they are forcing me to pay the balance total money whether you do or not the course.

I just appeal to the goverment that in this democratic country is it a valid thing that if somebody has just taken admission in a course it means he has to pay unnecessarly being on a side that I cant continue with the course because of my brother's illness.

Please help me here I am out of city however my friends said that they have received a letter as a Notice to pay the money in 15days otherwise legal actions will be taken.

I cannot pay anything because i am situation where I am asking money from my relatives and well wishers as a loan so that I can continue my brothers Dialysis and medications.

Please help me.

I have been suggested by my friends and family to take a legal action First by sending the ICFAI University a notice asking to give back my cheques and then to complain in Near by Police Station and also in explaining all these to any News channels However i believe that the university will understand my situation and releave me from all these as I am already in bad time and dont want to do all these things.

Hence request ICFAI university to please understand my concern and releave me from programme and also return me my Cheques.

I took admission for my better future and not for all these problems hence I appeal to the concerned authorities of ICFAI that please understand my situation and stop all these activities.

This is in respect of my previous complaint that I made against ICFAI and I thank you also stating that I received a call from ICFAI Hydrabad saying that you write a confirmation mail and we will dissolve ur course.I also requested to return my Post dated cheques.I mailed VS Rao( with whom i Spoke on phone after your mail to solve the case) as confirmation that per conversation on telephone please dissolve my candidature for MCA ICFAI . I also copied all the related alias and for security reasons I BCC you also in that mail.

Here are the alias on which I sent mail after talking to Mr R V Rao on phone that he asked that you send a mail to me and we will dissolve your candidature.

Dispite all these again I received a mail from PDC that they are going to sumit my next cheque in the bank so I should maintain proper balance, I replied and explained that I am out of the course now and its been finished.

However eventhough they submitted the cheque in the bank and I got an sms alert today morning that your cheque issued to ICFAI has been dishonoured.

Now again they will come back saying that as per this ACT we have rights for the Legal action and all.

I must say here that we should take any legal action against these people as we have a Government and Justice in India.

Mr Vijay Sir I personally request you to do something in this regard as this has become a big tention and problem for me and my family. We have been suffering from trauma because of these ICFAI people.

I request you please take an immediate action against ICFAI as this is not acceptable at all.

the sign of icfai being fake lies in its selection process... those who appear for ibsat, pass the exam without any marks or rank being declared...wats the hrd ministry doing???

Friends, with due respect to all of you, on a particular aspect, I would like to oppose U. I[censored] say the quality of the course material of Icfai University is excellent, even then U would underrate it. It is simply better than excellent and probably one of the best study materials available in India.

But mind it friends, that's it. Apart from the study material, everything else is awfully horrible!!!

First of all the Management. There is thing named Icfai National College aka INC. It is a sort of private tutorial. All students who would enroll themselves over here, have to seat for the exam as private candidates. But that would hardly be disclosed at the time of admission.

Next is the quality of Faculty members. Icfai Business School aka IBS might be a bit different, but mostly Icfai National College faculties are damn sub-standard, with due respect to them and to their educational background as well.

Thirdly, always keep far from the 'Icfai Distance Learning' section. Its nothing but a trap and keep far from the promotional personnel of the various Icfai Distance Learning center offices. Icfai Distance Learning courses are too lengthy, though quality wise pretty good. But the fact is that being a working professional, U will hardly find any time to get your lesson prepared to clear your exams. I am not mentioning about any other Distance Learning Course. But it is a hard truth what has been told so far about Icfai Distance Learning course. And the Management Authority would take full advantage of it that as many time a student would fail, he or she has to pay the re-examination fee again and again. It would make all of you astonished but the hard truth is that, U will hardly find anybody clearing any course entirely without being plucked or failing in any of the modules / groups of the examinations.


Moreover the examination pattern is MCQ based. We have to keep it in our mind that MCQ pattern is only applicable for screening test as the questions for MCQ are closed ended ones which is not applicable at all in thought process encouraging studies like Business Administration.

And finally, The Management as well as the placement section is probably the worst of the world as they always will press you to get into insurance selling, DEMAT accounts, Financial products like Ulips and Mutual Funds etc.

So be patient and look before you leap.

Wat you said is ridiculous.I was an ex ICFAI an who consistently scored above a CGPA of 7.5 throughout. Half of my studies has been funded through internal scholarships.ICFAI is not a money sucking machine.It is recognized by UGC. Im proud to say I'm an ICFAI an cos Icfai has made me where I am today, in TCS, one of the foremost IT companies in India.

I got a text message (SMS) for distant learning MBA... After reading all this I dont think I should go for it..

I am absolutely agree with u I am also doing MBA from ICFAI UNIVERSITY everythng is out of books noone can continue this type of study, Concellor give us wrong information abt the slybuss, class, & study material & paper pattern.its totally a fake university they just want to earn money, they just give very tough paper then students failed agn they vlpay exams fee & agn they vl fail.If someone hae any idea how to deal with these type of people, In a democracy country they r just trying to earn money frm students.may education deptt. of our India do somethng for these type o[censored]niversities.

its true that institutes nd other education centres are money sucking machines now a days, but than also they could not be blamed solely. ya but there is a issue on which atlest steps should be taken and that matter is of providing for installment facilities. Are yaar if a student is applying for EMI facility tat lethally states his/her economical scarcity. So if the education centre is providing the facility its Good but WHY DO THEY CHARGE INTREST CHARGES ON THAT. they are to help the needful student who want to study despite of financial shortage. A one time Fee if it is Rs. 75000/ but if a studnt is financially low and choose for installment payment then at the end if we calculate it cums in total to nearing 90000/=. cum on they r not selling a car or a home loan for luxary, its education the pillar of their future.. but in black. and moreover if any serious problems occurs with one's family he could not stop to continue his/her payments cheques. Atleast there should be some provision for them to quit if they dnt want to continue.watever classes they attended they paid for that. now its jst that they cant continue for any xyz reasons, wat is there to send notices from court. It clearly shows there Motto for which counsellors are appointed, this system indirectly says" TUM ADMISSION TOH LO, PHIR HUM DEKHLENGE KE TUM KAHA AUR KAISE JAOGE. Payment toh deke hi jana hoga... study or not.

is icfai is afilated university and can centre govt jobs be provided on the basis of the degree from icfai ?

I do have a same complaint.. I requsested to discontinue my MBA but they said that I have to pay the full amt of the course..
