iciciprulife policy — claiming that my policy is lapsed which is about to mature in 40 days
this complaint regarding a policy which i took from the company 4 yrs back. monthly premiums were send to the policy from my wifes account ( ICICI bank itself) on a particular day of every month as per a standing instruction. about one yr back i was told that one premium is missing and i have to give a bond in rs 50 stamp paper for re issuing a draft which got misplaced from their office at kottayam. after several communications i got an email from their customer relations officer this february that my policy is in fully paid status as on 29 sept 2007 ( last premium due date).now only 40 days for the policy to get matured. i got a mail and a letter saying that the policy is lapsed. i am confused whether to go to the ombudsman, IRDA or to make a press club meeting.
