I have been chasing IDEA through care.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com as well as appelate,[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com regarding my complaint on International Roaming problem. I had activated international roaming in march 2013 and have traveled to Ghana in Africa. Since I have come here on Mar 29th, 2013 I am unable to receive calls and SMS on my Idea number [protected]. I had logged a formal complaints thrice with care.idea however there was no good resolution provided to my issue. The last SR number I have is 26566361 and was assured to get resolution by Apr 25th. ITs more than a month and I am unable to use the service. There is no responsible person looking into my issues. I have attached my email communication with IDEA in this regards.
I have demanded, the refund of the International Roaming charges I have already paid and paying. I demand IDEA should immediately resolve this issue as I am unable to receive my bank alerts etc on this number. The amounts already paid to IDEA for International Roaming service should be paid refunded to me with immediate effect.
Please look into.

Idea — No action on previous complaint
It's been 10 days today that I am waiting to hear first call on my IDEA number which I have purchased on 31st Jul. I got a call from IDEA care that I should go and submit documents to nearest IDEA center and they people will open my number. I did so but the person said that I'll take another week to complete formalities once again as the process to be restarted. I don't have any option but to wait and obey them like a foolish customer. If I ask them that I need to talk to higher authority regarding this, they just re-routed me to IDEA care and it's the place where I started with. Every time they ask the same question and I had to elaborate from starting the same story.Outcome of every conversation was WAIT.
IF IDEA IS NOT ABLE TO FULL FILL THE NEEDS THEN WHY THEY SELL CONNCETIONS.
I don't have time to waste on IDEA care and keep on writing emails just all I seek is a solution.
Below is last complaint on 4th Aug 09, I got response on call only but yet no action from IDEA side.
its my first n last deal with idea . the idea people call u every second hour but when u buy the number they never pick ur phone (smart people) and i m mentioning the name of the guy rakesh([protected]). Idea claims big for consumer satisfaction but result is zero.
I purchased a number [protected], they sold it but very next day they called me up n said "sir, we r very sorry but tht number is not in out stock . thts good means when they see a 500 rupee note then they didnt consider abt tht.
then tehy gave me another number [protected]. n now its been twice i visited their office but they said wait wait and wait ...its true "AN IDEA CAN CHANGE UR LIFE "
when a consumer ask them for higher level person or their number to talk. they say with smile sir, idea care is there where u just wait for an executive but executive never comes .
i know this mail wont affect the company working but it may be beneficial for us the consumers
moral of the story " PLZZ DONOT CHANGE YOUR LIFE WITH IDEA" ITS SUCKS!
