[Resolved] Idea Cellular — MMS | |
Dear I amwas customer of Idea Cellular ([protected]), Maharastra for last 4 months. Without asking Idea had activated MMS service for which the bill was more that 1800+ for a month. they just message that you have been sent a mms by some no. but this can never be accessed through the site mentioned and also this site doesnot exist...
very fake and distracting message from the company itself...

In this case, don’t freak out, solution is just a step ahead!
Where people go wrong is, they forget to add country code ‘91’ before the number. That means if your Idea cellular number is ‘[protected]’ then username would be ‘[protected]’ and password as it is. In fact, I will not state this as a mistake committed by people but purely it is absurd and unfriendly behavior of concerned website

i have received a message from ideacellular.com/webmms but i can't open my accont. it says wrong user name and password. so plz kindly help me to find out my username plz. its very urgent.

I am Idea user ( Mobile#[protected]). Since last two bill cycle, idea is charging me for two sms (SMS-MT) which I never used or never requested over my usage cycle.
In Nov-14 bill cycle, the SMS log indicates a time stamp at which I was travelling from Ahmedabad to Pune and my mobile was inside my laptop bag. Thus it is not possible to do any SMS sent option from my mobile. I requested to waveoff the charges but there was not satisfactory answer received from idea. The same case happened in Dec-14 month and charges for identical SMS-MT.
I think the Idea server has some issue and charging me for un-necessarily. I am not happy with customer support from idea as they do not have any previlledge on system to support customer.
