Idea Cellular — Not following DND regulations

Recently i got a new IDEA Prepaid SIM card, and since then, it was all trouble. When when filling my Application form for Prepaid sim, i opted for

DND.

On the very first day o[censored]sing the new SIM, i got 5 calls and plently of SMS asking me to subscribe or bla bla bla.... And all those messages are

coming as a flash message. Just a click on a key by mistake activates it. It happens the very first day (9th of August 2012).

And on the same day i send "START 0" to 1909 to activate DND... but the problem did not stoped, i then mailed to their customer care, and got a

message like this.
"DND (Do Not Disturb) service for your mobile number has been registered on 9th August 2012 and the same will be effective from 17th August

2012."

I waited for 17th.. and i got the same messages on 18th also, and i again send a mail to their customer care, and explained them in detail about all my

problems... SO, this time they send a mail like this,

"We will keep you informed about the resolution on or before 29-August 2012 EOD (End of the day). Until such time we request your kind

cooperation."

And today (23rd Aug 2012), I got a call from IDEA and one guy told that the problem is just as i might have kept CELL INFO DISPLAY TO ON.


But to be frank, i always wish to keep my mobile home screen Free and simple, and i always used to keep CELL INFO DIsplay to OFF.. i told them,

that the cell info display is not on, it is off..

Then the person told that the problem might be with the hand set, and not with IDEA... and then i got a SMS from IA-IDEACL "Dear Customer, your

concern for DND could not be resolved, kindly contact customer care. SR 1-[protected]. Thank you."

What i guess is, people in IDEA does not know how to stop sending me SMS. it does not mean the handset is defective. ok? This is not my first

mobile no, and i have been using mobile for the past 12 years. And only from the time i chooses IDEA all these problem happens.

I am sure the problem is not with my handset, as it happes on other handsets with the same SIM.

And when i use a different SIM on my mobile, the thing does not happen.

I am really really frustrated with your customer care... i have wasted my time talking and waiting to your customer care people. Personal mobie with

IDEA is not personal, i am getting all unwanted SMS and calls... and most importantly,

If any one know how can i Escalate this issue to the Top Management of IDEA, please let me know.

what ever itis, right now, i am moving to a different network, but really, having IDEA is a bad IDEA. You people really make the brand Idea and

Adityabirla a shame.
