[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Postpaid Connection — no action on repetitive complains about bills

I am a student of IIT Roorkee, and i have got literally frustated by the services of the local service provider of IDEA, THE MEHTA INTERPRISES. On 27th oct , i paid an amount of Rs100, which they transferred to some other account. on repetitive complains also , they never cared to solve this problems. finally yesterday they even shouted at me when i warned them about complaining to higher authority. my cell phone is barred and even yesterday i paid again an amount of Rs 200, still they havent put that in my account, and said "you do what you want, we wont unbarr your number". i have wasted a hell lot of time due to this, and i am left with no other option but to complain at your end.

i completely agree what the above complain says because even i find those people sitting at MEHTA ENTERPRISES, highly misbehaved and inefficient. they promisde to do a thing within a couple of hours but finally they dont turn up til three four days.
people at IIT Roorkee are highly frustated and switched to airtel recently.
the above complain is like a usual thing at IIT Roorkee. most of my friends have switched to airtel. the service at IDEA has declined sharply and now they dont even talk to the consumers properly. definitely they are tampering they image of IDEA CELLULAR COMPANY which was one of the major player at the IIT campus
No complaint.I want idea pospaid connection.

my phone was disconnected today .i am the regular costumer of your company.i call your agent to collect the money from my office but the man of your collection agency didnt come to my place to collect the money.the amount was not a big one but only the amount of Rs.295/-only and this amount was not sufficent to disconect the phone.my security amount was already deposited of Rs.1000/-and the company give me the limit of Rs.1900/-i already send my complaint to your local off 2 times but they didnt respond me properly.so please take a legal against the person wh is responsible for this and deactivate my connection.otherwise return my security amount after cutting thr balance of mine.

I am IDEA prepaid dealer in Lalgarh Jattan. I want to inform u that in my village, there is IDEA tower but there is no networks converge from last 5 days in our village. I reported the officer so many times but they are not taking this problem seriously. People are not satisfied from IDEA service and they are switching to other service provider because there is no networks converge in our village from last 5 days. About 50 % IDEA costumer took other network connection and rest are thinking to change the connection because New Year is coming and without network coverage they will not be able to talk with there relatives and friends. Please awake before all IDEA costumers adopt another cellular service.

my name is prashant panigrahi and my cell number is [protected] i had applied for a new idea connection 2 months back after the verification i have received my idea number i.e., [protected] but still i have not received my idea sim card yet last week i have received my statement of 400 rupees from the idea department to pay the bill . this is your service the worst of all is idea my experience i am not going to pay a single rupee to idea.

My name is Ravi .G.R, Hope i am using spice number ([protected]) past from 3 years, now it becomes Idea, Realy i am proud to have idea customer.But the concern was past three months back i activated 99rs SMS pack, Before activating thrice i cross check with C Care people they clearly told me for my plan 3000 SMS free if i activated 99rs pack, So that i activated.

Even yesterday evening means 21.01.2009 called and cross check with the C care people on that time also they told me 3000 SMS are free for 99rs pack.



But today i cross check my ebill amount in that they are charged me.Immediatly i called CCare sadiya has picked my call and she told for my plan only1000 SMS are free, i requsted her to tranfer call to superwiser but she disconected my call. Again i called to CCare, Manjula has picked my call, finally she transfered my call to Superwiser Rakesh. He also told same bullsheet and finally he disconected...or i am not sure bcz of network probs But i am very much sure before activating all the people whom i spoke with customer care people, they are clearly updated 3000 sns are free, ... Hope u have all the recorded details.



I requested you to kindly cross check and review my and send out updated bill...I am not beliving the Customer Care ...

I can't access any web properly.

Previous 6 time i forward on this complain at [protected]. But i can't received any properly responce by them.

Hi all,

I am using idea Postpaid Connection last 5 years and am quite happy with there services. I recommended many peoples and all are satisfied with the service and commitmments. Might be, u have faced the problem, and idea really needs to work on this else they have to shut down there network.

After merger with spice since last 3 months I have faced hell of problems in roaming and no support at all. I have raised the complain and have faced the same problem as what commented above by others.

Idea Cellular Postpaid Connection — Unjust bill

Dear sir,

Few months back I converted my Idea prepaid to postpaid connection on company's request. But soon after my number was unoperational due to unknown reasons. Still I have recieved a bill amount of about 2000 rupees. My number was not even operational for 10 days, out of which I sued the services amonting to hardly 500 rupees.

Kindly suggest me the way to get the number activated and get the correct bill.
