[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — Not Activate Blackberry Internet Service

I was recharge Rs. 100/- for Blackberry Internet Service for 7days on 19/07/2011 at 9.38pm. Before I recharge I was talked to Mr.Subhash (Customer Care Officer) on 1907/2011 at 7.15pm. and he advise me necessary process for blackberry internet service activation. After that I had contact several times to your customer care officer for activating my blackberry internet service, but they are all told me pls call after sometimes or talk to our GPRS technical. I request to you pls help me or I will go to consumer forum.

I was also inform you that I was recharge Rs.44 on 19/05/2011 at 12.56pm. for blackberry service for 3days. But you cannot sucess to activate blackberry service to my mobile no. So I request you again, pls see the matter. My Name: Paulomi Bhattacharyya. Mobile: [protected]

Idea Cellular — Issue with the activation of services

I am Krishan Kishore D, an unfortunate customer of your idea cellular services. I took a 2 postpaid connections with the numbers [protected]/20. I did provide all the needed documentation to your executive. [protected] was supposed to be in 249 plan and [protected] was supposed to be in 149 plan. How ever they activated them the otherway round. My connections were activated on 29 Jan and I did clearly mention that for the verification I will be available only till 12:30 PM at my residence. With out any prior intimation and verification my out going services are barred from 1st of February. I called your customer care and they told me that on Tuesday some one will visit my place and out going will be activated. Which was not done, I called on Tuesday and they told me that my services will be activated by end of day which did not happen. I was promised a call from a superior who never called either.

Finally fed up with all the services that were extended to me I wanted to cancel my connection I called CC they told me to visit any Idea showroom they will do it. I visited the showroom at Himayathnagar they told me that they will not be able to do it and I need to visit only head office. For the reason I asked an explanation they asked me to do " WHAT YOU CAN DO YOU DO" this is not the kind of service that is expected.

Still my services are barred and I just want my connections cancelled. I want to tell you that Idea really changed my life. This is the service that is expected from a leading group.

Blackberry — internet email not working

i purchase blackbary mobile phone from dophin citylite road on 24th march 2010
in this mobile i active email and internate service from vodaphone. but due to difectiveness of handsat its not working.

Idea Cellular — Customer Service & Blackberry Services

Their customer service is the WORST! Never helpful..always keeps passing the buck to another department which asks you to, eventually, contact the USELESS Customer Service, itself!! The Customer Service Reps do not know the meaning of Customer service at all, as it seems that the only purpose of them answering the call is to get rid of the customer asap, irrespective of his / her query being resolved. HIGHLY MANNER-LESS..!!

Their Blackberry services get de-activated very often, for no apparent reason.

But once you threaten them that you would change your service provider, the same complain that was going to take 2 days to be resolved, gets sorted out in a span of 20 minutes..!!

I have recharged my phone online through Citi bank for 200 Rs and i get a message saying that internet service has been activated and i have been recharging my phone online from the time i have taken idea connection and never faced a issue but after recharging it on 6/7/2011i get a message stating that internet services have been activated which i did not subscribe for .And i spoke to the cus care agent who says nothing can be done and is asking me to change the mobile to use the services . The attitude towards cus is very bad so i would request you to kindly look in to it and refund the amount or activate a topup of 200 Rs as i am not interested to use internet services with IDEA. Mobile model (Nokia 1110)

I am having issues regarding the activation of Blackberry services on my Idea number [protected]. I have recently ported my number from Tata Docomo to Idea cellular on 28th Jan 2013. And had requested for the Blackberry services (BIS 399 plan) on the same number on 3rd Feb 2013 at around 11.10am. The balance for the same got deducted immediately, but the service has still not been activated. I have been contacting the customer-care executives and their supervisors regarding the issue, but in vain. Finally, I wrote a mail to the customer care email id provided on the Idea cellular website. I got a call in response for the mail, but all of them have been just giving false assurances about the service being activated in 6 hours/ 8 hours/ 12 hours etc. due to some technical error on their side. If there has been no technical error for deducting balance for a service, why is there technical issues for providing the same service? Kindly help me with the same. Thank you.
