This is the regular experience with IDEA prepaid service - my phone and my wife's phone both are on IDEA network from last 5-6 months. With every recharge (either from paytm, freerecharge or bank website or their own website), the recharge is successful but IDEA takes few days to credit the amount. I definitely suspect a big racket to use customer amount for their own purpose - imagine lakhs of customer putting hundreds of recharge amount each day and they get it and not crediting to customer for few days. Very unethical practice.
It creates problems many times - e.g. last time, they took about 5 days - my wife had to bear with 0 balance. My son had to give some exam on IVR with that registered number and he could not give it. Their customer service is CHARGED so I can not even call from my same phone and if you write emails, you dont get response from customer care or nodal officers or appallate authorities.
Worst customer service and you will have to plan for at least 5-10 days / month of downtime recharging your amount (Rather they might be using it for their own business!!). Was this information helpful? |
