I today I have received a call from [protected], a lady was there on call. She told me that “I am calling from idea and this is a verification call, confirm your Name”. I replied” My name is Vinay Dahima”. Then she requested to confirm whether this number ([protected]) belongs to me. I have confirmed the same.
Then she said your number is verified and your number is selected as a special, you can listen free devotional songs for one year by dialing (some 4 digit number, which I forgot). Whether you want to available this free service, NO charge will be deducted for this service.
I replied if it a free service then Yes. Finally call was finished.
Today evening I found that I have around Rs. 200/- less balance in my account. I checked and complained this to customer service executive on 12345, Mr. Pradeep was there he told me that Rs 198/- deducted for devotional songs, I told him that I have been told false” that this is a free service’so please adjust this fraudent deduction back to my account. He told that hold on line, call will be transferred to Senior Executive. I was on hold for 9 minutes, but no response except company promotion audio.
Then I reached to Shop, from where I had purchased that sim ([protected]). He arranged my talk with another idea executive Mr. Vikas, I have again briefed him about the same complaint.
Therefore considering the above information I again say that that was totally a fraud case and kindly adjust my Rs 198/. Otherwise I will approach to TRAI and consumer affairs. Was this information helpful? |
