Idea/gprs — Way of Billing is incorrect

I have activated my GPRS plan of 499 on my Idea post paid connection. While activation, i was never informed that I will be charged as per usage and at the end o[censored]sage the sum will be deducted.
As per this kind of billing what happens is - my credit limit exceeds and my call barring will get barred till i donnot make the intern payment as per they demand.
Under this GPRS 499 plan I get 1GB net usage from the service provider.
If billing is done in this manner per kb which is 2p, which is Rs20 per Mb and then... 20, 000 per Gb - WHY AM I TO PAY THIS AMOUNT uncessarily when my plan is activated?
I spoke to the customer executive "Ganesh" - he said this is the way... upon request I wanted to speak to his manager - he did not give me the line and said your number has been forwarded and will not be asked to make an intern payment - upon repeated request I was able to talk to his manager "Hitesh" - who spoke in the utmost unproffessional manner and said this is the rule.

I am not able to get this - when a post paid plan is activated the monthly rent is charged at the end along with benefits like msgs and calls which are free with the plan - then why does it not apply with GPRS. Why should I being such a hefty amt when a plan has been activated?

idea/GPRS — gprs service not provide

mujhe gprs service provide kare bina mere account se 2 din ke 40 rs. kate gaye .customer care par kai bar baat karne bad bhi sahi response nahi mila.plz help me.([protected])
I HAVE ACTNET 20 PLAN & I WANT TO RUN INTERNET ON MY PC VIA MY IDEA CHITCHAT CONNECTION. MY SYSTEM WINDOW IS XP. SO PLEASE WRITE THE PROCEDURE TO MY MAIL FOR THE ABOVE PURPOSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
This is really very bad.
It needs to be resolved cause nobody will pay 20, 000Rs for 1GB GPRS use.

I think some action needs to be taken against these service providers who think they can handle their customers as they want. Their managers should also be fired for talking unprofessionally.
kya connection hai yaar kabhi bhi 6kbps tak pohach hi nahin pata aur call karne pe bolte hai network problem jabki tower(idea )1/2 km se bhi kam ki dor hai can i get some solution
You are right Avni. I am also suffering with this senseless rule of Idea.
I have called Idea customer care (more than some 50 times), spoke to the managers and others, but of no use.

They say that this you will not be asked to pay the interim amount, but again they barr the services. This has become quite frequent last month.

I have spoken to another Manager, he assured that he will solve my problem for sure. And you know what, my Credit limit is 18000 now.

This means, now my calls wont be barred now, and I wont be asked to pay interim bills. What if I lose my phone? The Irony here is that they just find temporary solutions and dont ever try to get a permanent fix for these kind of long lasting issues.
