[Resolved]  Immaculate Debt Management — Cheating

Address:South Delhi, Delhi

I was approached by the telecaller immaculate debt management stating the benefits of settling Personal loans through Immaculate on 17th or 18th May 2010. That time I was in the process of applying for a home loan and I thought it’d be good if I clear my previous liabilities. So after talking to their sales team over the continuous phone calls for 2-3 days, I agreed for their services. I was promised that Immaculate can get the settlement of me and my wife’s personal loan done in maximum of 45 days from any bank. It was because of this reason only I agreed to avail their services as I had to initiate the home loan process without any old financial liability.
As me and my wife wanted to apply jointly for higher eligibility; both o[censored]s enrolled for their services on 21st May 2010 so that it can be settled faster.

In the mean time, we were already talking to our respective banks for the settlement.
We were told by immaculate that if we get any call from the bank, we should give them their numbers. We did the same but we still were getting calls from the banks for the payment.
Then we again called up their office after 15 days and asked about the status. We were approached by someone from immaculate stating that he’d be taking care of our cases and we should call him only.
As I was being called continuously by my bank (ICICI) for the payment, I told them to get in touch with immaculte. ICICI people were very categorical in telling me right from the start that they had stopped doing settlements and it’s not possible through any channel. I conveyed the same to immaculate to which they replied that it’s just the tactics of the bank to pressurize me and he is already talking to them for settlement. I kept on reminding him about my time constraint to which he kept on reassuring me but all in vain. Then one fine day, I get another call from a new person from immaculate stating that now he’d be the one who’d take care of my case. I briefed him as well about my previous discussions with and he also gave the same assurances. After one week or so I called him up to check the status (It was mid July by then). Now this person told me the same thing what ICICI bank had been telling me right from the start that they have stopped doing settlements and I would have to pay the full balance amount (Approx Rs 38000/-).

I told him that you guys are not telling me anything new as I had been telling you guys the same thing since the start of my case so why did you waste 1 & half months of mine? What are you there for then if you’re also telling me the same thing which my bank had been telling me? He couldn’t understand my concern and handed the phone to his senior. I explained the same thing to him as well and asked him why so much of time was wasted for nothing? He was very rude to me over the phone and handed it back to his subordinate. I asked them if you guys were not able to do it why did you take my case up in the first place and why do I have to take this behavior from anybody???? They had no answer to that. I told them this is not done and I want my money back and they were quite prompt in telling me to get the refund. After a week of this incident, I called up my bank and tried to negotiate on my own as I was already late for my home loan. With little hesitation from their side and little persistence from my side, they agreed to settle the loan. All this process took me just 2 days and I settled my loan on 27th of July at Rs 25000/- as against the highly skilled negotiated amount of Rs 38000/- by immaculate. I called up immaculate after this to tell them the same and to get my refund. They told me to visit their Karol Bagh office to get my money back.

In the mean time, my wife who was promised of her settlement in the month of August, called them up in last week to check the status. Again the same story. First no call picked up, then Maam I’ll call you back, kar raha hoon blah blah.
So we decided to go to their Karol Bagh office and get the refund. There the story was worst if not bad. We were made to face someone who flatly denied the refund saying it’s not in our policies where as it clearly mentioned in their terms and conditions clause no 7.1. Then after some discussions with them, we were asked to give an application for the refund to which we agreed but on one condition that we need the copy of that application duly approved & received. Against this I was made to speak to one of their directors over the phone who was speaking the language no civilized person believes in. Even when I was very humble in my tone with that person he was rude and more than happy to accuse me of creating a scene in his office. I still explained to him my case and told him that I got it settled myself from the bank to which he asked me very rudely if I have already settled the case then what was I doing in his office?

I’d like to draw your attention to the fact that these people were clueless
all the time we asked about our cases even after 2 months. I am not trying to zero in on anybody but our patience has been tested to our limits by Immaculate. I can very well say that we were harassed more by these people than by our banks.

By the way I forgot to mention that getting to talk to any body at their office is like climbing a mountain. They don’t pick up, never call back, no response whatsoever. Whatever and whenever we had any discussions with them it was possible only after continuously calling them 4-5 times for 2-3 days. They never pick the calls. As a customer, all I wanted to know was the status of my cases but I guess from the wrong people. Even today after giving us a figure of Rs 20000/- as settlement amount for my wife’s loan in the month of july, now they're shameless to say it’ll be done only at Rs. 30000/-.

It’s not about money that we paid to company but the harassment done to us. Now because of not having a NOC from the bank for my wife’s personal loan, we’re facing problem in our home loan. We're now almost on the verge of losing the home that we booked.

Kindly help us.

i know these immaculate people are trying to help everyone who is struggling but they should make sure that they do not take cases of fraudsters like you because you buddy are an intentional defaulter. If you are capable of taking a home loan you should pay your debt at 100% with all the charges and banks should make sure people like you are not in debt management program. people like you should never be given a loan in this life time Mr defaulter. I would like Immaculate to publish your details like bank loans and pan card number so that you can never get a loan in this life time and loose your loan and property also.
Dear Karan Malhotra, I didn't understand why are you saying Mrinaal Sapru an intentional defaulter? Do you know him? This kind of situation can happen with anyone. I am also passing through the similar situation negotiating with bank to clear my account without putting me in the defaulter list, so that I can get clearance for the home loan. But it was not my intention...I stucked up very badly just because of situation and I am sure I will recover soon. Are you an employee of Immaculate? Otherwise why do you want to publish their details and why do you want to punish them when they are not doing anything wrong with you?
