Mr. somnath,postman number 11 misbehaved with me when i went to mahmoorganj post office for enquiry of letter of kashi gas services. when i asked him whether he is having the letter with him or not he replied let me check and after half n hour he responed that he went to the place and there was no response from our side. when i again asked him he replied that he dont have the letter and said we do not get anything so why should we deliver the letter on time.. and when again my dadiji went there he said to come tomorrow.. please respond to the complaint on the id given below.. The said article was not delivered booked from Darjiling Head P.O though repeated intimations were sent vide Email to spc.[protected]@rediffmail.com. The Contact No.[protected] is not working properly. A time span of 5 days is being covered but no existence of the letter traced Online ( www.indiapost.gov.in ) .

Please look into the matter as the letter is urgent & needs to be delivered within minimum possible time.

Today i sent out an international courier to UK, which weighed 150gms.. Initially they charged me 375/- and gave a reciept for posting it to USA!! (Cant the employee read a 36 sized font under bright light).. when i questioned her about this she said she has to cancel this order and make a new one! for which she made me wait for 20 mins!!

After this when asked she mentions that for 500 gms it will cost me 535/-..
A DIFFERENCE OF 65/- FOR 350 GMS! (470/- for 150 gms and 535/- for 500 gms) when i asked her why wasnt i told about the breakage/slab charges before when enquired (previous day) she says SHE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE TO KNOW THE DETAILS OF THIS!! When she sits in that counter it is her responsibility to know in and out of what she deals! what the hell is she paid for!? what is our GoI doing w/o providing a list of slab charges for parcel. this is very much available in every other small courier service!

ALL THIS HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA!!
ME A PROUD INDIAN FEELS ASHAMED WHEN SUCH PENNY THINGS HAPPEN TO US IN AN INDIAN SERVICE WHEN WE GET BETTER SERVICE IN PRIVATE FIRMS!

I am Avichal Bhatnagar reside in malviya nagar jaipur.I sent a speed post to british council, delhi; contains my passport photocopy and a demand draft of rs.7600 to conduct my exam of ielts(International english language testing system)in chandigarh on 28th of this month.The delivery is not done yet.i sent those document on 7th april
and my receipt no. is ER[protected]IN.

I called up to british council division[protected]delhi several times to confirm if my documents and the demand draft is delivered to them or not but they continuously saying that we didnt receive any thing.also when i called up to post office[protected] they said the delivery done on 11th april when i ask them to give any proof they dont give any satisfactory answer.

Now i cant write the exam and wasted my money,time,energy and my draft is also missing.Its the matter of my career so its untolerable.Please help me out.And take the necessary action.

1. I had applied for my passport & was expecting the same by 20 / 21 Apr 11. However, At 1845 Hrs I was informed by one of my jawans on duty that the post master has informed that I should collect my passport from GPO on 23 Apr 11.

2. I have not understood the same as the postman has not even bothered to even contact me on my No which is available to him as he was del my passport. It amounts to sheer lackadaisical & egoistic response of the postal employee detailed for delivery of my passport.

3. I 'll request that a proper enquiry be ordered & defaulter be punished.

4. An early action is desired.

My University dispatched some very important documents for my admission to higher studies in US on March 23rd, 2011 with Registered post no: 385, but till date it has not reached its destination in US and there is no way it seems I can track the registration number.

Its been a month and there is no information on the documents, my deadline has already passed. Now no one knows where those docs are and University also doesnt take the responsibilty of those docs.

This is highly unreasonable on part of Indian Postal Service. No one can expect the reliable delivery of their goods.

On Indian Postal website, there is no information and I doubt that someone will really read this complain also and will react.

I have posted a letter under speed post (NO. EE[protected]IN) from Tripura University Campus Br.(PIN: 799022) on 08.04.2011 to reach at Canada and I have paid Rs. 580/-. Track record shown that the letter is lying at Kolkata RMS. The letter is urgently needed to reached to reciepients other wise I may be in trouble.

I have applied for duplicate issue of my lost NSC Certificate no 6NS/52DD187350 dt 8.11.06 of rs5000/- In the name of Probir Kumar Banerjee & Minoti banerjee Purchased from Rashbehari post office Kolkata -700029 Alipore juduridiction..All formallities has been done by me as per requirement of post office for lost NSC & enquiry also done by them, but till date they are not issuing my cft.In this regard I Contacted several time to postal dept with documental evidence at least 10 times but action not taken yet to issue the cft.
I do not know how to get this money from postal dept. please help.

EM[protected]IN was booked on 12th April by Fisher Price India to be door delivered to my residence in Marathahalli. But the post-office person, came over and handed over a letter to me telling that it should be collected from the post-office. In the letter, the reason was stated as "recipient not present in the house during the first time of delivery". A blatant lie. Can it be arranged to deliver properly?

sent a registered letter vide no. RLAD V 9458 on 28/03/2011 which was yet to received neighter A/D Card or Registered Letter as on date.

I have bought mobile handset from Ebay.com and the seller from United Kingdom send the parcel through Royal Mail with ref No. RJ[protected]GB ( reffer- royalmail.com) which shows the message-Your item, posted on 12/03/11 with reference RJ[protected]GB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in INDIA.

But I have not received the item yet and another item which was send from the China through mail which is also undelilvered to me.

Please help me to solve the problem

I am one of the Address proof card holder. valid up to 23.01.2014.
While, marketing Address proof card by postal dept, it was informed me, this card is, can be used for address proof for various transaction. But I am facing still same difficulty for this card is accepted by anywhere.
1. Bank ac opening / change of address.
Both govt owned banks / as well as private banks are NOT accepting for a resident proof , says that this is NOT valid proof / NOT in our list Documents
2. Appling telephone connection / mobile connection.
Both BSNL and other mobile operators like…Airtel, reliance, tata Indicom etc… NOT accepting for a resident proof, says that this is NOT valid proof / NOT in our list Documents
3. Appling Ration card – NOT accepting for a resident proof , says that this is NOT valid proof / NOT in our list Documents
4. Appling voter ID card – NOT accepting for a resident proof , says that this is NOT valid proof / NOT in our list Documents
5. Appling Driving license – NOT accepting for a resident proof , says that this is NOT valid proof / NOT in our list Documents
6.passport office also NOT accepting YOUR CARD FOR A ADDRESS PROOF…
Totally absolutely USE LESS… AND WASTE OF MONEY….
In general, NO PLACE WILL ACCETING THIS CARD FOR A VALID ADDRESS PROOF. Then what is the use of obtaining this?
Now I am requesting tamilnadu/Chennai post master general to issue a circular to all the public / private Dept /govt dept especially public dealing dept to accept this card A VALID ADDRESS PROOF

a speed post no.ET[protected]IN was despatched by the Income tax department carrying refund cheque on 18 Mar2011.The same reached NAVAL BASE POST OFFICE on 21 Mar11.But I didn't get the same upto 04 Apr11.When i came to know through internet that the above said speed post was despatched and i didn't get the same. I approached to the concerned Post master,he investigated the matter and replied that the speed post was returned by the Postman quoting the reason addressee not found.Still i am at the same address.Now i am facing problem to get the same cheque back.

My name is Kamal Bist have applied for a passport on urgentbasis that has successfully despatched by authorities through SPEED POST, having article no. EP[protected]IN on dt. 17/03/2011. But till date i havent received the same. Whenever i goes to authorities of postal department they send me otherway and today is 3rd day, i am visiting in every postal offices of district yamuna nagar to get my passport byhand. It is not easy to get a leave for 3 days for a Private job employee. At last i got the contact no. of post man Mr. Krishan by other postman and i told to Mr. Krishan (the postman of our area) regarding the same, he said that particular area not comer under him. Now he resend the Passport back to Chandigarh. I am totally mentally harrassed by such kind of service by postal department. Although he delivered the Dak for the same villege, that is alloted to him and it is being 16 year to living in the same address and no dak is distributing there.We have given so many application to Main Post Office regarding non delivery of deliverables of our area but no action has taken place.
Due to carelessness and laizyness of postman i am suffereing now.
So you are requested please take some necessary & justified action against the Postman and Postal department of Booria postoffice distt. Yamuna Nagar
