India Today Book Club — complimentary gift not received, misbehaviou by tele calling and customer care excecutives | |
I joined the India today book club on 30-aug-09 (invoice date) and payed a total of Rs. 2598, where in which i was subject to get 12 books, a holiday voucher and return air ticket voucher. It has been more than 3 months but i am have not recieved the holiday voucher, air ticket voucher. I tried to activate the same though there website but everytime i tried doing it, either website is temporarily unavailable and at times it is under service. Before becoming the member, i got more than 20 calls from there side and since last three months i have called for more than 20 times to there customer care no. and have put acrossed more tha 20 mails but there executives have misbehaved with me and have even told that " to kya huya agar aapko complimentory gifts nahi mille, books to mill gayi naa".{ what happened that you didnt got the complimentory gifts, you have got the books} Membership No. - ITBC09101999 Invoice date - 30 August 2009 Please advice me on the same. I am a member (ID no - ITBC[protected] of India Today book club and I have purchased few books and other gift items from them earlier. this is related to one Diwali offer by them (i.e. 3 enclycopedia Cds + Holiday package + Air ticket + 12 books) amount to Rs. 3198/-.
As per the telecalling executive I have paid for the same offer on 07.10.09,through my ICICI bank card , transaction no - 74477489281019992515860, Living Media India ltd, amount rs. 3198/-
But till date I have received the CDs and books but no other things as committed with the offer. while contacting their customer care no they just said please write a mail to [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com, it is already a month no reply has come from them. I have also marked the same mail to their seniors id (including mr. Vivek - ceo of this club) but till date no response.
Still I am receiving calls from their call center for new offers and when I told them regarding the problem they just bang the receiver and shockingly one has gone to the extent of telling that they did a very good job by not replying to my complain.
I ahve one more complain against the same group for not receiving a magazine subscribed for two years for which I will file a different complaint to you.
Please look into the same and help me to sort out this issue.
