I fully agree with all the complaints quoted above . I am one of the victims of the above pensionary benefits. I retired from Air Force w.e.f. 30 Jun 2009 and I have not received my encashment of leave and arears of 6th pay commission and conveyance allowant on discharge from service. Whenever I enquire from NEAS cell thay tell that your case is under finalisation and we have sent to JCDA it will talke another 2-3 months. I do not when these 2-3 months will come. Air Force is spending lot of money in arranging final clearance for those who are about to retire before 10 months of their retirement . What is the use of that if they are not paying the NE benefits in time. Kindly help me .

I, 613565-S Ex.-Sgt Prabhakar Singh was discharged from IAF w.e.f. 28 February 1999 from 17 Wing, Air Force Station Gorakhpur.P.P.O. No. 08/14/B/10293/1999
At the time of discharge from service, pension for 3rd group Sergeant was maximum up to 25 years of service only. Hence, even after putting up 26 years of service by me I was sanctioned pension of 25 years of service i.e. Rs 2544/- p.m. only. As per Fifth CPC there is a provision of pension for 3rd group Sergeant of 26 years of service is Rs 2628/- p.m. On revision of pension as per Sixth CPC as on 01/01/2006 my pension was revised as Rs 5750/- p.m. based on my basic pension i.e. Rs 2544/- p.m. instead of Rs 5941/- p.m. (Pension of 26 years of service).
It is therefore requested to look into the matter for revision of my pension for 26 years of length of service i.e. Rs 5941/-.

RE-CONSIDERATION OF DOD IN PLACE OF ABSOLUTE DATE OF COMMUTATION FOR CALCULATION OF COMMUTATION AMOUNT
Sir/Madam,
I am Ex-JWO BD Sahoo (691929-G), Rad/Fit. I retired from IA[censored]nder own request on 31 May 2008. Though my DOD is 31 May 2008, the Absolute date of Commutation is shown as 06 Oct 2008 which falls after 02 Sep 2008 (date of revised table) on my PPO No.08/14/B/10019/2009 dated 29 Jan 2009. Because of this I am taken to the revised table for commutation calculations with new age index and paid only the difference amount which is very less in my Corrigendum PPO No.08/14/B/CORR/64025/2010 dated 25 Mar 2010. I should have got commutation amount Rs. 1, 60, 000/-(appx) more if the DOD would have been taken for Commutation calculations in stead of Absolute Date of Commutation.
In the case of regular discharge, people retiring on 31 Aug 2008 with absolute date of commutation 01 Sep 2008, got the maximum commutation value as their cases have taken according to the old table.
For everything, the DOD is taken into consideration. Due to non of my mistakes, I am penalised financially because of the absolute date of commutation taken into consideration.
Therefore, I request your honour to reconsider my case for calculation of commutation value taking DOD in place of Absolute Date of Commutation for which the retired soldier will be obliged.

I could learn from the different sources that for prematurely discharged air warriors are also eligible for full encashment of leave as per VI PAY COMMISSION. in my case it was of 250 days. when could i expect the rest amount of 118 days?

I am Ex-Warrant Officer Santosh Kumar Paikaray retired from IAF with effect from[protected]. PPO No 08/14/07126/ 2007 and 08/14/corr/18292/2002. My pension account at SBI Jatni, Orissa, [protected], indicates that the new rate of pension as per VI Pay Commission and One Rank one Pension is not enforced to my case as my last rank is not amended to Warrant Officer in PPO and SBI Central Pension Cell, Bhubaneswar and the arrears accrued thereof, have not been credited yet. May I know the reason for the hold up since most of my colleagues have started drawing the new rate of pension and most have received part of the arrears as well.

I 653023-T Ex-JWO JVLN Murthy retired w.e.f. 31.12.1999. I was in receipt of disability pension @ Rs. 465.00 p.m. and in VI CPC it was enhanced to Rs. 1050.00. for 30% disability (disabled in the rank of CPL).
Now recently the improved pension was sanctioned vide PCDApensions circular No. 430 dtd 10.03.2010 w.e.f. 01.07.2009. The pension was enhanced from Rs. 7100 to Rs. 8720.
But the disability pension was not enhanced, it was heard that the disability percentage up to 50% is computed as 50%. My PDA bank has not credited any enhanced disability pension still they are paying me the old pension @ Rs. 1050/- pm.
Please advice the procedure to be followed to receive the said enhanced rate of disability pension.
