Subject :- Non functioning of letter box at Rajat Vihar , Sec 62 , Noida, even after ‘Reminder’.

Dear sir,

With reference to above subject, we would like to state that , even after highlighting the issue of non functioning of the letter box installed inside our group housing society in Rajat Vihar, Sec 62, via letter dated 11-Jan-08. a copy of which is attached herewith, still till date, the mail clearance has not started on daily basis from the same.

As a proof, we have posted self addressed envelopes, a week back, which we have not received till date.

We request to please look into the issue and take the matter seriously and resolve the same at the earliest.

We hope the matter will resolve at your end we need not to go higher –ups , highlighting the severe irregularity.

Though in some area where other services could not reach Indian Postal services as a part of Govt. obligation reaches and yes in rural areas we have no other option !!!!

While in urban areas... yes email and courier services has kicked Indian Postal Services out of the Competition. Though this are only my views others may differ...
just to suppor5t my view I am telling you that I had done a "SPEED POST" to my relatives from Mathura to Dhanbad and Mathura to Bokaro(two letters) on 07-03-08 but till date 15-03-08 it has still NOT REACHED !!!!! and instead of looking into the issue to get it reach the destination instead they are telling me to lodge a complaint and they will do an enquiry?????

The details of the SPEED POSTS are...

1) EU[protected] TO BOKARO

2) EU[protected] TO DHANBAD

My view is I am not interested in any inquiry instead more interested in the letter to reach its destination!!! after all it was "SPEED POST" the fastest and reliable service from Postal department -- as they claim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so why people shoould not switch over to other alternatives ????

Sub: complaint against the disrupted service delivery of kanke post office

Dear Sir,

• This is to bring to your kind notice that Applicant is Senior Resident in the Central Institute of Psychiatry Ranchi. He is currently residing at Flat-105, HariRam apartment, opposite holiday home, kanke road Ranchi.
• Through the information displayed outside the Post office Kanke, Ranchi, applicant got to know that bills of electricity can be deposited in the mentioned post office.
• On[protected], applicant deposited his bill no. 12 of November 2008 of amount 77 Rs in kanke Post office through receipt JSEB A ( 00561)/ Consumer no: GK 2510
• When applicant received the bill of December 2008 on 19/01/2009 /bill no: 12 of net amount of 215 Rs that included the bill of November 2008, which applicant had already deposited in kanke post office.
• When applicant enquired from Kanke post office about his added electricity bill, then staff on charge advised applicant to deposit only the electricity bill of December 2008 only excluding the added amount. On 20-1-09, applicant deposited the money of mentioned electricity bill through receipt no: JSEB-A (00700).
• When applicant received the electricity bill of January 2009, then again it was added with previous bills of months November and December 2008, gain applicant enquired from kanke post office about his added bill, then staff on charge told him that mentioned bill should not be deposited in kanke post office, because the residence area of applicant doesn’t come under kanke post office and all previous bills were deposited due to some official mistake and further they expressed their inability to provide any sort of relief and solution to applicant
• Applicant contacted electricity department Kanke road, opposite CM house, then staff on duty told to applicant that department of electricity doesn’t bother on bill depositing system of post office, and they will not enquire any thing regarding this matter from kanke post office and ultimately advised applicant to deposited the total net amount mentioned in electricity bill of January 2009 (including bill of November and December 2008).
• Now applicant has deposited the mentioned amount of January 2009.
• There are many questions emerged from above stated billing procedure, applicant was not given proper information of bill depositing system through post office because of careless attitude of staff of kanke post office.
• However, kanke post office displayed out side its office about the bill depositing facility, but in reality it poses psychological harassment to applicant. Applicant also suffered from his financial loss. Again it is not ensured that applicant will receive smooth service delivery from post office.
• Since kanke post office deposited the amount of electricity bill given by applicant, therefore it the sole responsibility of kanke post office. Kanke post is denying providing any sort of relief to applicant.
• It is evident that the amount of bill applicant deposited in kanke post office, it was not forwarded to electricity department since the mentioned post office claimed to provide such service but in actual status it is not performing. therefore it is deficiency in your service delivery system according to under section 2 (g) consumer protection act 1986 as well as Smt Ramala Roy vs Ravindra Nath Sen, 1994 (I) CPR 66.
• Since you are not performing the service that you have claimed on notice board out side the Kanke post office thereby it is “ Unfair Trade Practice” as per under section 2 (r) ( vi) consumer protection act 1986
• I have reported the above matter to previously also but despite all my pleading, you have not made arrangement for resolution of my grievances. On account of your aforesaid dereliction of duty and failure and neglect to rectify the same, I have suffered loss.
• Therefore you are kindly requested to look in mentioned matter and provide the relief to applicant in term of his financial loss and inconvenience caused by kanke post office after receipt of this notice failing which applicant will be constrained to initiate action against you for redressal of his aforesaid grievances under statuary provision of consumer protection act 1986, exclusively at your own risk, cost responsibility and consequences which please note.
