We work in BT account in Wipro . I joined this account 4 months back as a fresher with lots of expectations but after joining here came to know how bad a company can treat its employees. We work every saturday, sunday, no festivals also. We are asked to work in the company almost 24/7. Even though we work more than 13 hours a day, we are asked to come on sat and sun to work that too more than 13 hours on week ends also. Infy was doing this prj before, infy employees were paid 750rs when they go domestic onsite(TechM). But in Wipro, we wont get a single rupee also, we wont get comp off's. Even when we are not feeling well, managers are asking to get doctor certificate. I'm scared, is this the S/W culture every where in S/W companies? But outside world thinks that S/W engineers enjoy their life on week ends. Here i'm not feeling well for long time and when asked for release, Wipro managers threaten you that you will be out of Wipro. What to do where to complain. Please save us.

I too agree with the above complaints.
Above all they ask of Original certificate at the time of joining and they dont return it even after 1 month of joining. They drag it for no reason. Real backmailing company.

I too agree with all whoever has posted on this. I had never work in this company but i came to know from one of my friedn who had work there. The same statement I also heard for ACS account.
The worst company in IT world.There is no manner i found in HR discussion. I am so lucky that i refused this offfer.Emplyees are always asset of company and really bad exposure with Infinite. I am agree with all comments without fail.

Above all they ask of Original certificate after the HR round, that time as I thought of joining in that company I handedover my original certificates to them, later I have decided not to join in this company and when I asked them about my original certificates they are blackmailing me to join in that company otherwise they don't return my originals to me. I don't know what should I do.. anyone please suggest what should I do.

I never seen a worst company in my career like infinite.

The WORST company in my history of working so far. I wake up every morning cursing these people for what they did to me. Most unprofessional way to interview and fire employees. The managers who claim to head the departments think they are doing an excellent job handling employees like animals. They don't realize they are sitting on a bomb shell. If they try behaving like this in countries outside of India, then they will realize how badly they can get into trouble with the law. Someone needs to show them their place - which is in a dust bin. They claim to have the ISO certification --- quality management, huh! So, this is the way they manage quality -- treating their employees like slaves, as though they have no life, no family, no feelings. This company will never grow -- NEVER. They have hurt so many people - these managers will pay for their crimes sooner or later. God is watching. Today they think they have all the power, but every one's time comes. Just because they have the power, they go around firing employees without even a mistake - just because the manager didn't like that employee and he has the power. If we question the manager's decision, we lose our job. Someone tell them, this haughty attitude will not get them anywhere. The world is now realizing that employees should be treated well for a company to grow - but it will take a long time for such companies to realize this (perhaps never).

Alas, wipro treats all of its employees like this. It matters not where in the world you work for wipro. Ever since outsourcing started to become a huge industry, the career path for IT professionals deteriorated. The biggest employers of IT personnel are now outsourcers like wipro, and their mandate is to maximize their profits while minimizing costs for their clients. The only way to achieve this is to make their IT employees work harder with as little money as possible.

I would suggest that you retrain yourself into a new career outside IT.

Can i have more complaints about this crap company...

I work there. I have not observed the same attitude that is being mentioned by the above posters. There was a short period of time where they had a rogue manager, and the work environment was tough for a few...but, that person has been dismissed.

I have found the management to be very considerate. One might say even inspiring. To be such a young company and be doing so well...I am happy to be proud of this organization and I feel valued every day.

sorry guys the above said statements (against infinite)are not fully correct...me being as an employee of the same, want to share some points...well during training i felt the works were more only becoze of getting well trained and becoming more knowledge on the subject so that we may work easily and qualitatively for the company...ok the compromising with our family and frnds is not somewhat good but still, its all about our career and family depends on it some how.see if we grow ourselves then company would grow...
we labored hard for ourselves for getting more confidence in my work and attitude...so dont blame on company...still more bigger companies are doing the same and firing also..but still infinite does not.after training its well to work in ACS ..me also working, didnt find any kind of such activities said above.they treat as family members as i feel...senior employees are very helping and co-operative.i m happy n feeling lucky to have the project of ACS and work on it in INFINITE as 5th best Employer in the world... .

But i[censored] would have joined in 2009 or 2010 literaly these managers so called, , would have ruined ur happiness for ever...now the market is up and they know the ppl wont sta for the tme if they continue the animal activity...im one of the emp...who had worked an all weekends and even on holidays in that tiime...now i have settled wiht better company...but i always keep track on this issue...i[censored]r well treated then u cold be either from andra or from kerla...coz only those person will get royal support...coz all the leads n so called man-agers are from that place.

Recently i got offer from ICS, By seeing above comments i am bit worried about the company. Can any one tell me shall i join this one or not? I joined for java position. And also they took my original certificates as a part of joining process. Will they return back my certificates if i reject the offer? Please give me suggestions...

Don't ever think of join in ICS, Its a worst Compnay I ever saw in my life. I left infosys and joined here thinking small company and lot of things i can learn. Latter in the satge, its worst one. i am realizing now, So i ll advice not to join.

Also The certificate issue and working hour issue is 100% true knowing to me. Even the HR's worst in the world, They all are bloody Marketing guys, They will behave like they are god.

I just completed 2 months, and waiting for the time asap i can leave.

i do agree with the above complaints, i work for iyogi process (BPO) block b ininite computer solutions, the management here initially promise every a good salary and it does too after 2months suddenly DEDUCTION happens from our salary, they confuse alot and within this confusion they again annunce that half of the salary will be given in next 15days and after 15days there will be a peace of in your salary, infinite has a [censored]en management, i sware some day it will be a hell.

How can you not mention DEEPA NAIK (HR) and RAKESH TIKU, "VP of Infinite". They are both frauds and should be in jail. RAKESH TIKU faked all his education and experience and slipped into Yahoo! as a Director and he is doing the same he did at Infinite at Yahoo!

Warning about DEEPA NAIK she now spells her name as DEEPA NAYAK and is the Regional Manager - HR at Dimension Data.

Be careful of employing DEEPA NAYAK (AKA DEEPA NAIK ), she will ruin your company.

Well, Rajesh Rao (still at Infinite Computer Solutions), Rajiv Nair (now at Terrabit Consulting), Rakesh Tiku (now at Yahoo) and Deepa Naik / Deepa Nayak (now at Dimension Data) are laughing all the way to the bank with the provident fund money they stole from thousands of employees.

They are probably also laughing at how they forced the candidates / employees to hand over their original document and used these documents to blackmail the candidates / employees.

Furthermore, they asked for sexual favors from certain female employees.

All of them deserve to be in jail.

You forgot to mention the masterminds of this fraud. The people you mentioned are small time players just following instructions.

I do agree with you, I do not know why they behave like this. Specially when you resigned. They will not accept your resignation and threaten you that will give your bad feedback to other companies...
The worst decision of my life was to join this company. It was a nightmare for me to get out of this hell.. I have seen they behave same with every one who try to resign.

Please think 5 times before joining this company... It is better to stay at home than work there.
