[Resolved] Irctc — Money debited but no ticket confirmed | |||
I wanted to book 3 tatkal tickets from *Madgaon (MAO ) to Pune JN (PUNE) *on *03-June-2011* for the *Train Name : GOA EXPRESS Train Number : 12779.* When i tried to book the ticket today 01-June-2011* at 8:00am there were seats available in 3AC on the train for the above date and i did a net banking from SBI and an amount of 2398 was debited the *Transaction failed due to issues in IRCTC server*. Subsequently i called the IRCTC chennai customer care :[protected]. Though there was a very bad response to my queries , i resorted to go ahead as suggested to re-book the ticket. I tried a second time to book the same 3AC ticket but again it was the same , the amount of 2398 was successfully debited from my acount but the *Transaction failed a second time due to issues in IRCTC server. By *third time when i tried to book the ticket there were no seats available in 3AC. * ** *I had no choice but to resort to book an SL ticket to go ahead with the travel which is scheduled and unavoidable.* But the scenario was no different again ,when i tried to book 3 tickets for SL in the same train again an amount of 925 was successfully debited from my account and *the Transaction failed a third time due to issues in IRCTC server . * *By now there were only 2 seats available in SL, and when i booked the ticket for 3 the fourth time this time the transaction was successfull. I tried to check with the IRCTC care that I need a 3AC ticket for 3 people for which i was trying to book the ticket , as the transaction has failed solely due to technical failure from IRCTC and one of the failed transaction could be considered. But there has been no resolution , response also there is no response if i call the customer care number. The site should be revoked as it is not properly tested. There is no point hosting it as it clearly shows that after 3 failed transaction i booked a successfull ticket and the people in care are not responding to queries Delhi or chennai care number.
