I could not cancel my wl tatkal ticket pnr no : [protected] from cstm to lucknow just because the website was under maintenance. I have lost rs 600/= due to negligence on irctc part. Cant they maintain there website during 11.30 pm to 5.00 am. Also i could not cancel my cnf ticket from adi to bct pnr no: [protected] which has costed me rs 144/= this is my case consider thousands of cases who haven't complained.. Irctc helpline numbers are useless and keep ringing.

STATE BANK OF INDIA[2155] — ABOUT WRONG DEDUCTION OF MIN. CHARGE

my saving account is without checkbook, so min. balance of my accout is 500 rupees, ammout in my accont was always greater than 500 rupees, but 200 rupees is deducted from my account on 31st March. please take proper action

So type of ID is State Govt issued id no is o000 and issuing authority is BEEOMRG.The id holder is M.Prasad 40 male.
So, I kindly request you to refund money as earlier as possible.

I would like to share my bad experience with IRCTC (online ticket booking website).

I have booked my tickets against PNR [protected] on 23rd December, 2008 but after a day on 25th Dec, 2008 I tried to cancel my tickets with immediate effect & sent a mail on [protected]@irctc.co.in as suggest by an executive on phone.

Why should i go for TDR processing when i am using your service within all deadlines and have cancelled the tickets before 24hours?

Do you have any such provision in your website that before 24 hours, tickets can not be cancle?

This is to inform you that the (PNR: [protected]) from NDLS TO MGS booked for 21st December 2008 was cancelled on same date by me and the TDR which was filed on 24/12/08, it has been 5 months and still the refund money has not been refunded to my account. I had trying to purchase Rail ticket through my IRCTC ID on 2nd Sep morning.
My transaction Ref[protected] &[protected] ,and makes confirm payment of Rs.4152 through net banking of Corporation Bank(A/C No-0057-SB[protected] to IRCTC.
But after completing payment, not receive any e ticket from IRCTC, only received message from IRCTC that my above both transaction was failed. I am surprised to see my bank statement that above amount already deducted from my Account for above failed transaction.
I am already sending my Bank A/C statement several time before to IRCTC. but not yet receive any responses from IRCTC end. Will you please explain how its happened ? Who will be responsible for this fraud type transuction?Why I am loosing money/time?

IRCTC — LOSS OF MONEY

i have booked a ticket on 08-09-10 from vijayawada to secunderabad (NS HYDERABAD EXP) through IRCTC .After completion of process an amount of 168/- has been deducted from my account but i didn't get the ticket .so what i have to do to get money back to my Andhra Bank account , because if server problem occurs na what we can do

IRCTC — wrong deduction of money

sir i have booked a e ticket of 16 of feb from jabalpur to Howrah by shaktipunj express whose pnr no is [protected]. i want to cancelled the ticket on 15 of feb at 11:30 pm but unable to log in due to there website problem. i called the irctc care and received a conformation that no extra amount is going to be deducted from my account.But while cancelling my ticket Rs 182 is deducted instead of rs 40.

I booked one ticket from Trivandrum to Ernakulam (Train no 12082) on 15/06/2015 ON THE IRCTC connect ( android application ) but the transaction done but ive didn't get my tickets due to some network problem.     Hi,

    This is regarding an ecommerce transaction in India with possibly
    India's largest ecommerce website - irctc.co.in which is a monopoly,
    the only authorized online reseller of Indian Railway tickets.
    Cleartrip and any other websites which offer the same service are
    downstream from IRCTC and offer enhanced services with additional fees
    to make up for the deficiencies of IRCTC, a Government of India
    enterprise.

    I canceled an e-tatkal ticket of nearly Rs. 1500 that resulted in zero
    rupees refund. The IRCTC website does not tell you in advance the
    amount of refund you are eligible to get. In fact there is no
    automated way to find out via the website the amount of cancellation
    charges on any ticket. Traditional railway booking offices do not
    perform cancellation of etickets. And the IRCTC 24 hour call center
    isn't really available out of office hours - no one picks up when you
    call at night. What's worse, the call center isn't a toll free number.
    In fact, it is a Delhi area code number that gets pretty expensive to call if
    you are having a detailed discussion over long distance STD.

    Therefore my request of IRCTC was that they at least reissue the
    cancelled ticket to me - since there was no warning in advance that I
    would get no money back. After all, it is illogical that anyone would
    take the trouble of canceling a ticket for no refund.

    The IRCTC call center agent I spoke to refuses, and maintains that I
    should have been familiar with the "rules".

    That's hardly a defense, since the rules are hard to understand, and
    are poorly explained. When modern technology clearly allows IRCTC to
    inform consumers of their charges upon cancellation, it has been
    negligent in not publishing that information to consumers on demand in
    advance of the cancellation.

    Is there anyway I can get a remedy short of a consumer court?

    Payment was made thru Andhra BAnk online site but after the payment was made, the irctc site immediately went down and didnt come up till yesterday evening

      the similar kind of mail has been received by me. This has become a headache since last two months. I am receiveing several messages live winning of 500, 000 BGP from somany lottery companies is there any foroum where we can report these type mails.

      I dont know about the irctc mail but the cd pack-reebok offer is from india today and i can say it is genuine. It is done for brand image and you will get the items promised

      Is it fake mail or spam, pls. clarify
      I have also received the mail today from IRCTC and IndiaToday Book Club. It sounds genuine but going by the above complaints I am surely thinking thrice before losing my money. The offer was for the swatch watch and Benetton watch for Rs. 2100/-. Firstly why is this mail coming from IRCTC promotions? If the service of IndiaToday is this bad they will surely loose their customers.
      I was surprise to see so many mail going around from IRCTC, I too got the Swatch watch offer. I feel we should forgo this or label this as 'FAKE'. It may not be fake in what they are offering or delivery, but may be with the quality of watch. I doubt they are genuine products.

        In spite of repeated requests, no action has been taken by you. It is unfortunate that India being a developing country the customers still have to face problems which leads them to financial losses.

        I have booked the tickets through IRCTC bearing PNR no. [protected], [protected], [protected] booked on 5/9/2008 which were supposed to be delivered through the reputed Overnite Express courier. Unfortunately no initiative has been taken on either part neither from IRCTC nor from Overnite Express to get the tickets delivered to me.

        Since my date of travel is 13/09/2008 I was forced to buy another ticket through reservation Counter. Now, since I have not yet received the tickets neither can I cancel the tickets and receive the refund. Incase, my tickets don't reach me by 2 PM of 12/09/08 I would be losing 25% of my ticket amount for no reasons of mine.

        There has been assurance from the agents on phone that they will deliver my tickets by today 11/09/2008 but it wasn't done still.

        The phone numbers [protected] or [protected] provided to me by the courier company through an email didn't work either. The phone numbers[protected] &[protected] were always busy but for 1 one time when i got lucky.

        I would request the authority to take note of such poor administration and save me from financial implications.
        I completely agree with the above situation.

        This is not the sole case of this kind with Overnite Express. I had booked a ticket to Kolkata for the Durga Pooja, which was never delivered. I reside in an apartment in Indiranagar and the adress is very easy to locate. Even a blind can find the house easily. But the delivery staffs of Overnite Express cudnt locate the place.

        may be the guy is new to the locality, but my mobile # was very clearly printed on the ticket. God knows what exactly prevented him from giving me a ring.

        I was later told by of the delivery staffs that Overnite Express does not reimburse them mobile charges. But dont understand why the [censored] should a customer suffer if Overnite Express doesnt have sufficient funds to run the business.

        Not even an email notification, and after calling the local office of Overnite Express near Geo Hotel, Lalbagh Road, i was told tht the shipment would be delivered by 5PM that day - after the tkt was booked online abt 7days ago. But to add to the dilemma, i was tld that the ticket was misdelivered by the Overnite Express delivery staff. After much of blasting, the ticket was finally traced and i had to personally collect it from their [censored]ing office.

        God knows what under the table connection IRCTC has with Overnite Express. if they dont have any, or if Lalu is not filling his pockets, it high time that IRCTC kicks on the butt of Overnite Express...

        Anyone listening??

          After selecting train, class, etc and entering whole lot of information, this website says 'Could not retrieve Accommodation availability. Please try again later.'

          It is very simple for website deleoper to display this message but he does not understand pain of entering everything multiple times to get one ticket booked.

          Why can't this web site remember user inputs and try again on its own?

            I am a Sr.Citizen intended to travel from NDLS to SDAH on e-Tickets (Trans. ID.[protected], PNR No.[protected]) with Mosumi Pramanik(39) in 2660 DURONTO EXP on 16 Oct. 2009; But my said daughter having been indisposed is unable to accompany me, instead her son Sheersh Pramanik(12) would travel with me.             i tried to book tickets through irctc yesterdar (24/11/2012)all went through well except when payment was in progress. the session expired and the ticket was not provided. so made a second booking for the same ticket. and every thing went well after nearly 2 hours on the net. but i came to know that the irctc has been paid twice for one ticket.instead of being paid Rs 500/-they have been paid Rs 1000/-. now from whom or from where do i get the amount back?

              I have an issue in the website where I cannot access my booked tickets. It shows Unable to Retrieve Due to Communication Failure. I have called up IRCTC help desk lot of times and still do not have the issue resolved. They advised few steps which I followed, but of no use. Still it shows the same problem. I spoke to one Mr. Chetan Anand, who was supposed to get back to me with the solution. But till date nobody has resolved it.

              Can you please look into this.

              IRCTC booked tickets history is not available/cannot be accessed.

              IRCTC — Tickets retrieving

              Booked 3 tickets through IRCTC website on 28.01.2009 in the ID of sravya_94 with a password: of littleangel. During registrationan e-mail ID of [protected]@yahoo.co.in was feeded instead of [protected]@yahoo.co.in. Due to which I could not get any confirmation of tickets. On reopening the website with ID of sravya_94, the password is not being accepted and hence the tickets whatever booked could not be retrieved. I have to travel on 30.01.2009 for which I have no option but for booking new tickets once again.
              I am hereby giving the details of money transaction against the tickets booking through SBI online banking.

              Irctc is so bad that i am unable to see my booked tickets,

              In staright words, left hand side of the columm is invisible and instead of all the options that used to come earlier at the left hand side of the website, now there is a advertisement coming,

              Can these untrusty employees of the government, answer this question that why this is happening.

              This is so frustrating, but this is our INDIA, everything is acceptable in this country.

              I know I am writing this complaint, but one has the time to lookafter this and provide solution, this is somewhat our INDIA's government organization is made up.

              I too am not able to retrieve my booked ticket on 6305 (on 22-3-09) Cannanore Express.
              Details of my waitlisted ticket on 6306 (on 22-3-09) has been e-mailed to me and so
              the PNR number of this ticket is available to me. I did note down the PNR
              # as I was able to find the tickets in "booked tickets history" page earlier and
              so was hoping to get it from there. But, I don't find any such link now on the
              page that opens after logging in.

              It will be helpful if the details of the confirmed tickets is also e-mailed.
              I tried looking for updated passengers-list online. This too is not available.

              I have written to customer-care and awaiting reply.
              I did not note down the PNR No., expecting to find it in the booked tickets history page.

              its a bug because of which you cannot see your booked tickets - hence cannot take prints or cancel the same.

              Solution - Instead of going on 'My Transaction'; please go to 'Proceed for Bookings'.
              On this page, you would see various options on the right frame including 'Cancel Ticket' etc. Over here you should be able to locate your ticket and do the transaction. In case you are not able to see - please enter pnr number and search - you should now be able to see the ticket and do the necessary transaction.

              Hope it helps.

              everyday IRCTC goes black by 9-55 am. I propose whenever it goes off it should be offloaded to Private travel sites.

              Slow Speed

              After enhancing the irctc site and increasing the number of booking to 7000 tickets per min, there is no more difference in site for booking tickets. It would be better to enhance more at server side for booking tatkal tickets

                i'm unable to book a ticket in IRCTC website.
                when i uses the payment portal and click on payment with filling every require formalities, then sometime later my window show that "the page can'nt displayed", without my any mistake.
                when i login again and show the ticket booked history, it show that transaction has failled but my 'BANK ACCOUNT' debited the amount.

                  I HAVE APPLIED FOR IRCTC SHUBHYATRA CARD ON 31/7/08 AND PAID THE FEES ON THE SAME DAY THROUGH CREDIT CARD.BUT FAIL GET THE CARD TILL DATE.
                  ITS NOW ONE MONTH FROM DATE I APPLIED.
                  AS PER THEM CARD SHOULD REACHED APPLICANT WITHIN 14 DAYS.

                  This is to inform you that I had applied for a Shub Yatra membership card and its been more than 1 1/2 months that I have not received my card till date. I have been trying to get in touch with your customer care department and no response. Every time I was assured taht it will be delivered within this week. Today I called up your customer care and spoke to Mr Naved and he clearly says that this is not customer care number and they are not issuing any Shubh Yatra card. Also please be advised that Rs. 562/- has been debited from Credit card against the issuance of the card.

                  I would request you to look into this matter personally and revert with your feedback. For your reference I am enclosing the correspondence below which is self explanatory. Kindly do the needful at your earliest or else I have to take the matter with Consumer forum.

                  Subject: Complaint regarding cheating, giving wrong information on Shubyatra Card and its usage/benefits.


                  I was contacted by one IRCTC ShubYatra Card Executive. Her name is not known to me. My name is Tara Chandar and i am a Government Servant. The Executive gave me wrong information and tried to mislead me for applying me for ShubhYatra Card. On the basis of information (false information and benefits of ShubhYatra Card) given by her i applied for the same. Some of the the wrong information given by her are as follows:-

                  (i) She told me that i will earn railway points for your booking in 2nd Class or for my friends and relatives. I need not travel with other passengers for gaining railway points. This is absolute wrong as i have read the provisions which says that"you necessarily must be one of the passengers on the ticket".

                  After reading the provisions of Shubyatra Manual, i would now like that stringent action may please be taken against the Executive who misled me by giving false information and has tried to tarnish the image of reputed Government organisation like IRCTC.

                  I would like to discontinue from the Shubh Yatra Card from today i.e. 06.05.2011. I have received the ShubYatra Card on 5.5.2011. My card number bears No.[protected].

                  One executive had come the next day when the Executive (lady) contacted me and he had told me that i can discontinue from Shubyatra Card at any point of time.

                  It is therefore, reqeusted i may please not be sent Pin code No. for my shubyatra card and my Shubyatra Card may please be discontinued immediately from today i.e. 06.05.2011. It is also reqeusted that strict action may please be taken against the Executive which misled me for having Shubyatra Card on wrong information.

                  I have a subha yartra card (shuba hyatra number-[protected]). I have purchase (400 hundreds ) point on IRCTC on 8-Nov-2014, I have try four times and out of four three time i am not able to purchase points and Amount( Rs.600) are deducted from my Card.

                  I am still not received of my failed transaction Amount. I have email may times(14) on [protected]@irctc.co but i did not received any response from your side. Your service is very poor. This was i my first transition to purchase railways point and now its become Last also.

                    I had booked seven tickets from Manmar (Jn) to New Delhi railway station for 31/03/2008 but because of thier way of printing of time, we couldn't catch that train and we have been told that you will get 50% of your money with in 3 months span of time. I forwarded my request for Refund and cancellation of my all seven tickets on 04 April 2008 and I got a confirmation mail fro etickets that w'll process your request to your concerned deptt. and you will get your money in next 90 days. I got Rs.547/= as a refund of only one ticket ( PNR No [protected])on 26/07/2008 and the amount of the rest six tickets is still pending (PNR No's- [protected]).
                    It is regretted to note that, five months(150 days) have already passed but my amount is still pending with IRCTC. Apart from this i am continouesly sending them the mails, but they people are not willing to reply and not willing to tell me the staus of my payments
                    I hope i may get a positive response after submitting my complaint in this corner..

                    I have send too much mail and has called several time, to cancel my ticket but they are not responding.
                    I have requested them that i have forgot my password of my userid and my email id given at that site is not working, but still they are not able to help me in this regard. Please help
                    Very poor service offered by IRCTC... till now i have not received any intimation from IRCTC ...
                    last week on 9 th May i booked one ticket form bangalore Cy Jn to CBE Junction and later i canceled the ticket, the total fare including service charge Rs.765,
                    With out service charge Rs.740..but still now i have not received balance amount for that canceled ticket...Please give information reg that issue and give what is the procedure to get back the amt..

                      I have been trying to resolve the issue since 15 days now. Written several mails and called up to the IRCTC customer support (non-toll free STD numbers) many times and everytime recieving same answers.

                      I had booked two tickets on 16th Jun 08 with total amount 1435Rs.

                      After the cancellation of full ticket I should be getting total 1290Rs.

                      I had cancelled first ticket out of these two tickets on 25th Jul 08 and I had received the refund of amount 645Rs.

                      Then I cancelled the second ticket out of these two tickets on 11th Aug 08. But this time I did not receive the refund of another 645Rs till date. So actually instead of receiving the total 1290Rs due to cancellation of two tickets I received only 645Rs.

                      I had written and talked IRCTC customer care several times but I am getting only one response to check with bank. I was given the below information from IRCTC to check with bank for refund amount:

                      But the bank says that the above information is incorrect. This shows only same refund information two times.                       The bank is clueless on this and IRCTC has only one same answer everytime as if they dont understand what I am trying to explain them the actual issue.

                        Hi,

                        Today i booked from Daund to Dharwar with Boarding Point as Pune. My PNR No [protected].
                        But the Tickets were booked with Waiting list where as there were 5 tickets avaliable from Daund.
                        The waiting list was for Pune Station so only i booked it from Daund,
                        I am charged from Daund where as they provide me Booking from Pune .
                        When i called the Customer Care i was told that The system is changed now and this is system

                        My Complaint is that when they provide Booking from boarding Station Status why are allowing to book from other Station which has confirmed Seats and also they charge with From Station and not boarding station in such cases. this is Pure Cheating from IRCTC booking site.

                            I had purchased the waiting list ticket from IRCTC with transaction ID [protected], but I was treated as Without Ticket Candidate in my journey. There I had paid penalty & purchased another ticket from Ticket Checker in my train. The TC told me that the ticket purchased by you is not valid & you will be getting back your money for this ticket, it will get automatically canceled.

                            So kindly pay back my waiting list ticket amount back to my Account Ac [protected] for the transaction id [protected], As I had paid twice for the same journey, Rs. 348 /- to IRCTC & separately in train to TC with penalty Rs. 590 /-

                            I am completely in agreement with the above said thing as the same has happened to me also. Atleast we should be informed regarding this, or we should not be allowed to book these waiting list tickets. We should complain regarding this, I will simply suggest all not to use IRCTC online reservation if you are booking an online ticket for waiting list . This shows completely unorganised, improper and irresponsible behaviour of the INDIAN RAILWAYS.
                            Atleast for a country like INDIA where 90% of the population travels from the train these kind of things should not happen.

                            I am also agree with this because i booked ticket for five family members from Rohtak to Howrah this shows the status w/l 1 to w/l 5. when they started their journey they ask from booking counter. The counter person said this will be conferemed in train but the in the middle of their journey T.T. told them this is not valid. Now they were without ticket and they left the train and bught new unreserved ticket from Delhi.

                            So this is iresponsibility and iritating fact.

                              There is problem with the page where it asks for the boarding point. For the passengers who are getting reservation in tatkal scheme have a problem with the boarding date. It only specifies the date of journey. The boarding date only comes after the ticket booking is done and payment is made which surprises many of them with the boarding date as I was surprised today. I lost more than Rs1000 in this process after getting it cancelled. Please send this mail across to the higher authorities of railways where some action can be taken in this regard.                               This is for every Indian who is using this irctc booking site and trying to take ticket in tatkal scheme. Many can get fooled easily by the date of journey. There should be an entry for the date of boarding after we select the boarding point.

                              We cannoty change the boarding point of the tkt online which is such a pain.this is just an other way to make more money out of its customers

                              they want the customer to stand in the long queues again to change the boaring point and that is riducolous.
                              I have a Tatkal E-Ticket.
                              One of my friend has booked this ticket for me, and he has mistakenly given wrong Surname on the Ticket.
                              If I travel using this ticket I am considered as Without Ticket because the Surname on Ticket does not Match the Surname on My ID Proof.

                              For Tatkal Tickets there is no facility for Name Correction.
                              I have recently booked a tatkal e-ticket. I want to board from Lucknow, but irctc.co.in would allow me only to book my ticket from Gorakhpur (origin of train) to Bangalore (my destination).                               Today I booked tatkal e-ticket for my family with amount more than 6000/-, the train starts from New Delhi and ends at Bangalore, need to change boarding point from New Delhi to Burhanpur but no one is ready to take the ownership.                                 I booked a ticket on irctc.co.in for travel from rohtak to pathankot on date 2 feb 08. However on 2 feb due to unrest regarding dera sachchaa sauda the train was routed via panipat instead of rohtak. since i could not travel by the train i sent an email to irctc.co.in and apprised them of the facts. the site replied and promised that the matter has been refered to railways and my money will be refunded in 3 months. However no refund has materialised, they have stopped replying to reminder emails and it has been 3 months over and above the 3 months that they asked for. Any suggestions on how to tackle this.

                                  My PAN CARD No :- ANOPP6054G

                                  Reservation Status on printout:-
                                  Coach No/ Seat no/Status
                                  /0000/confirmed

                                  Total Payment made Rs1116+Rs20 as IRCTC service charges.

                                  Sir, at the schedule time i reached station, i approached to TTE:- Mr... Rajpal(2nd AC)which was on duty, TTE in Lucknow mail (New Delhi to Lucknow), after seen my printout of e-ticket he said that your ticket not confirmed and the paper which you are carrying just a scrap and nothing.
                                  I several times request him for checking of PNR No or name as properly in chart which was having with them but he did not care. He warns me that I will treat as without ticket. And at last, train was passed at schedule time. I was so frustrated, harass. I was embarrassing by such TTE.
                                  On that time I have not any tool to confirm my PNR status except mobile. At

                                  I had came back from duplicate Lucknow in excess payment of Ticket +500/-
                                  After arriving of lucknow when I checked the status through internet I was surprised that it was confirmed with coach No A-2, berth No 32, coach position-5
                                  It is pure injustice. Why should I penalize? What is my fault?? Why should TTE not understand my request?
                                  If there is no any value of e ticket, why should not it close??

                                  However, please ask the same with TTE, help me, and make a refund accordingly.

                                  have booked ticket from Raipur Jn. to Agra cant on 10/03/2011 at 19:28 and payment has been deduct from my sbi a/c [protected] for Rs. 4392/- but i have not receive confirm ticket on your site.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    The train, Puri Express(2816) was cancelled without any information on[protected]. I was adviced by the customer care to cancell the ticket within 48 hours which i did through your website portal. But I still have not recieved the money back. Please look into the matter.

                                    It is a surprise that on cancellation of the train due to Railway's internal policy, rather than being compensated for the inconvenience caused, Passengers have to wait for more than 3 months to get the refund( as stated by the IRCTC customer care, Reading the Policy of Refund)

                                    On 7th of December 08, My train was cancelled for Allahabad Journey & my coach was also not attached with the train.

                                    Finally I have to cancalle my trip to Allahabad & i was return back to Kolkata.

                                    I have filed my TDR right in the morning by searching a caffe.But after 96 days, I am neither receiveing my money in the bank nor any reply by mail.This is my 4th mail to IRCTC.

                                    I am booking 8-10 tickets for my journey in each & every month.But now I am affraid about the situation.

                                    IRCTC — non-refund of cancelled train tickets.

                                    I had booked e-tickets from irctc sites for delhi to jaipur,jaipur to ajmer and jaipur to delhi 1m between 19.03.2011 to 26.03.2011.
                                    All the above mentioned trains got cancelled due to Jat-Gujjar-Andolan unrest.
                                    I was assured that the money would be refunded back in my account, which has not reached me till this date.
                                    Kindly advice me regarding further steps and help me in this matter.

                                      Hi,
                                      This is Rakesh Saxena as I had booked a ticket through Credit Card (ICICI) from Mum to Delhi of August Kranti Rajdhani Dated 22.07.2008. for the month of 1.08.2008.
                                      After completing the entire procedure of the booking ticket through my Credit Card (ICICI) I had received a Communication Error but I did not received my PNR Number & also after confirming with the Customer Care of ICICI they told me that a transaction of Rs 3015/- has been done for booking railway ticket & in the mean while I have received a SMS from ICICI saying that amount 3015/- has been debited from your account.
                                      Kindly look in to the matter & do the needful ASAP.

                                      Hi,
                                      This is Suresh as I had booked a ticket through SBI internet account from SC to BQU of SEPTEMBER DELTA FAST PASSENGER Dated 29.08.2008. for the month of 1.09.2008.
                                      After completing the entire procedure of the booking ticket through my SBI I had received a Communication Error but I did not received my PNR Number & also after confirming with the Customer Care of SBI they told me that a transaction of Rs 329/- has been done for booking railway ticket.
                                      Kindly look in to the matter & do the needful ASAP

                                        Dear sir,
                                        Myself d.k.biswas residing at 18/3a bsnl type 4 quarter kali bari marg new delhi-1, i want to bring your kind attention for the following facts
                                        a) on 6.7.2008 (night) i booked waiting list ticket through internet for journey towards delhi to ajmer on train no. 9106 in the name of d k biswas, s.biswas and r biswas amounting Rs. 561, it was delivered to my residence on 8.7.08 and on 9.7.08 i cancelled the ticket from new delhi reservation. They did not refund me cash just gave a cancellation ticket with printed remarks NO CASH REFUND, immediately asked the counter person when i will get back the money he replied it will be credited to my account.
                                        b)the printed matter on cancellation ticket was pnr no.[protected] ticket no 05564033 old ticket no 3168342 can fee 60 refund 461
                                        c) when scarched the cancellation procedure on irctc, there i found
                                        " Cancellation of I-Tickets can be done at any computerised reservation counter across the country and a cancellation ticket obtained. NO CASH REFUND will be given. Bank charges that are being levied by the Payment Gateways/Banks are not subject to refund in the event of cancellation of tickets by the Customer. Service Charge is also not refundable. The refund amount will be credited to the respective account electronically, the following day of cancellation"
                                        TILL DATE i.e. 10.7.08 i have not received any refund i shall be grateful i[censored] pl take some pain for me to recover the same

                                        IRCTC — No Refund Even after 100 days of Cancellation of Ticket

                                        Dear Sir/Madam

                                        I Cancelled a ticket on 31st August 2008.But the refund amount is not debited to my account even after 100 days of cancellation.

                                        Every time i sent a mail i use to get response that money will be refunded in another week time .Now it is more than 14 weeks am hearing the same response .

                                        I have sent 5 emails to [protected]@irctc.co.in

                                        and this is the final response i got from them :

                                        we booked ticket from Gwalior to Bhopal PNR Number [protected] Booked On[protected]. As train was late more than 3 hrs. We filed the TDR. but It is almost 4 months. We did not receive our money back.
                                        Please let me know how to get my money back.

                                        I have book a ticket from Chandigarh to New Delhi in the name Veena Sikka for dated 11th Feb., 2010 and received PNR [protected] and Transaction ID [protected].

                                        I had tried to book the ticket from Kabakaputtur (KBPR) to yeshwantpur(YPR) on 22/4/2010 . Date of journey 1/5/2010, train number 6516. The amount of Rs 226/-+10/- from my State Bank of India SB account no [protected] has been deducted but the ticket was not booked.The transaction id of the booking as per my account is [protected]/G20431956 Transfer to [protected] SBI IRCTC COLLECT. But till date, the amount has not been reverted to my account. I request you to please arrange for refunding the unbooked amount.

                                        Telephonic PNR enquiry and also through net enquiry i was informed that
                                        Chart was Prepared and No seat was availaible so i did not Board The
                                        Train later on checking IRCTC Site i came to know that i was allotted a seat. Now i am not being refunded any amount since it was Tatkal Tkt . It was because of incorrect PNR Enquiry information i did not board the train so i want refund of ticket amount.(PNR Enquiry Msg Availaible)
