This is from Ittina Abha, Marathahalli. Ittina Abha is a classic case study of how an united set of general middle class fought for their rights and bent a greedy builder and pushed back arrogant landlord. Ittina properties owned by Ittina family including Manu Ittina, Mona Ittina has only made promises to the cusotmers and no deliveries. This builder jeopardized many families by taking the money for flats and did not complete the project for several years. Only due to the united and disciplined efforts of the Ittina Abha Apartment Owner's Association, the Abha project is completed and people are happily living there. The builder has not yet provided the lifts and few other basic amenities promised in the sale agreement. The association had to start maintaining the project more than a year back and due to their efforts the project has come to much better shape. For many of the basic deliverables the association members go to Ittina office and stage a dharna only then the MD and ED Manu and Mona Ittina budget. Otherwise they only lies to tell to people.
