[Resolved]  Jeyam Travels — Life risking due to bus service

i and my friend travelled booked the bus ticket in jeyam travels which has office in omni bus stand, majestic complex, koyambedu, phone no 42818263 from coimbatore to chennai. when we left coimbatore at 10.45pm supposed to be 9.45 pm in ticket.. tyre punchered 3 times in just matter of 40kms ..
when we got down and saw the tyre condition it was very worst... should not be used /....
at last it burst near salem ,.. then we got down thinking that it will life risking if we go in the b us...

we need to get ticket refund .. as jeyam travels management is not ready to give,.,

Last week Sunday (28-FEB-2010) i was supposed to travel from Coimbatore to chennai in Jeyam Travels in Bus No 1011 at omni bus stand near Gandhi puram.But that bus contained so much bed bug (Mootai poochi). When asked to change the bus the dealer was in full uproar against the customer and treated them with bad words... I m sending mails to all of my friends and relatives not to use Jayam Travels and i ill do sendings to all others i meet.
I had a worst ever travel from Chennai to Madurai on 30/04/2010. The same stupid Jayam travels. Their permit should be cancelled. The journey started off with so much of confusions. I asked so many times with that fraudulent RedBus people to book me a Ladies seat and they assured me I would be seated adjacent to a lady. But the case was different when I went to the bus after so much of waiting and fighting by 11'O Clock. The bus was supposed to start by 10:00. I could not explain the scene of passengers waiting for hours to board the stupid, old and condemned buses. Important point here is I got this 2+2 Non-AC, Semi-Sleeper(I couldn't even adjust the pushback) for Rs.630 since that was a Friday. There were so many passengers expecting atleast a descent bus that can do justice to several hundreds paid. One seat number was sold to two or more passengers and there was a superb imbroglio among passengers. My humble suggestion to you all is please avoid booking bus tickets through REDBUS and just ignore if there are any tickets in JAYAM Travels
Jeyam travels is worst travel agents u can find in earth!!!i had booked ticket from chennai to ernakulam!!!after reaching coimbatore, bus guys informed that bus service is till coimbatore!!!from here u have to travel on ur own!!!it was non a/c 2+2 and bus fare was Rs1110!!!even kallada doesnt cost so much!!!Jeyam travel really sucks
yes i agreed that ont i am also suffer that same one. not only for jeyam tarvels happened sangetha travels, jehan travels.
sangetha travels are charged heavey bus fare from coimbatore to chennai(i.e Rs. 850) . and they are not to cancelation againts their tickets & no refund . where i go to complaint about this and if any one knows reply me.

i am from coimbatore.Actually i want to give Complain about Mayura Travels which is Near to Gandhipuram SETC busstand .Last Sunday(25/07/10) i have booked Coimbatore to chennai Sleeper Coach they Charged Me 650 rs and they told me to come to omnibusstand at 9.30pm so i went to omnibusstand at 9pm but the person in office told me cooly bus already went so i have ask the about the timing given in ticket (9.30pm) how can u start the bus without informing me then the person in office told me we will arrange some other bus but i was not convinced so i ask the owner mobile no first he did not give after some person joined to me he give his owner mobile no when i talk to his owner he is not even listening to me he keeps on blaming me so myself and some passenger went to gandhipuram office where V booked the ticket their i was shocked bcosz there we saw th Bus (Sleeper coach) which we booked.
they are booking the ticket for high price Rs850/-, then we went police station which is near to office then one hour arugument and with the help of police we travelled in Sleeper Coach...

Jeyam travels is the worst travels ever i have seen. Its better to stay back rather than travelling in this travels. They dont know how to treat the customers. While travelling, the bus stopped in a half way without fuel. please please dont ever have a idea to travel in this bus . These guys are really and .
I had booked a ticket from Coimbatore to Bangalore and here are some scenes that I witnessed when I reached Jeyam Travels office:

Chennai Bus
The bus left at 9:45 A.M. instead of 9:45 P.M. and all those who booked tickets for this bus were stranded. Here are some excerpts from the dialogue between those who booked the tickets and the employees of Jeyam Travels:

Customer: I had booked a ticket for Chennai on a sleeper bus. When would it be here?
Employee: Any time soon.
Customer: But the bus was supposed to be here at 9:45 - it is 10:30 now.
Employee: OK. For you, we have another bus ready - this one (points to a bus). Get in.
Customer: But this is a semi-sleeper, I had booked a sleeper.
Employee: Well, it seems you have to 'go sitting'

Customer: What do you mean my bus left in the morning? I have to be in the office tomorrow.
Employee: Why are you showing off? Everyone has a job. Shut up and get into the bus that comes!!!

Customer (Me): I had booked a berth in the Coimbatore - Bangalore 9:45 Sleeper. When would it be here?
Employee: At 10:15 (The time was 10:30 P.M.)
Customer: And what time is it now?
Employee: You tell me what time is it. I am not wearing a watch. See (shows that he does not have a watch)
Customer: OK, the time is 10:30 now
Employee: Oh...Ah..err...Did you book the ticket online?
Customer: Yes.
Employee: Then, you have no say. We are not responsible for the tickets you book through redbus or any other web site.It is SPS travels bus, check with them if you want
Customer: So you are saying you are so shameless that (gets stuck in between becuse the customer was not fluent in Tamil)
Another Customer (An old man who had booked ticket for his daughter): How can you say you are not responsible? You have SPS travels written on the board in front of your office
Employee: Ignores the question and talks to other people

In the Bangalore bus, I see that someone else is on my berth.
I: Excuse me, I think you are in my seat.
Lady: (Talks to a man sitting on a seat next o the berth)
Man: Oh, we have exchanged this berth because we are travelling with our little kid - they cannot sit on this type of seat - they need a birth
I: But I have booked this berth and no one informed me of the exchange...
Man: The person from the office told me that it is exchanged. Didn' they call you? Can you please sit in this seat?
I: I am sorry- I have had a leg surgery recently. I would have happily exchanged the seats otherwise.
Man: But the woman told me I can use this birth.
I: (See the the woman and the kid sleeping): Fine, you can sit here but I would have to stretch my legs occassionally and you have to bear with it if it disturbs your sleep:
Man: Fine (No - he did not thank me)
(Before that we had a talk with the driver and another person in the bus. They were pissed too about the way the seats were allocated because two double berths booked by others were allocated for someone else who is a relative of the bus owner. After that I had a word with the driver when the fellow passenger was not around. He told me that the other person's wife was a relative of the bus owner as well.

About 300 passengers were stranded that night (it was Ramzan) and the Jeyam Travels employees talked like they were paying the customers for travelling their bus.
I had a very horrible and worst travel experience with Jeyam travels, I suggest do not ever book tickets thru this travel for your journey

My horrible and worst experience -
Part 1 - I have booked the ticket for AC 2+2 sleeper bus by paying Rs.1250. The bus that I asked to board is an ordinary bus fitted with AC which is of no use. Not only that the bus has leave at 11.00 pm but it the bus station by 1 hour late as these people were looking out for passengers to make the bus full. The bus journey was so horrible even after paying so much money not getting the comfortable journey.

Part 2 - After reaching Hosur suddenly the bus cleaner came shouting to get down from bus and board another bus to continue journey. The second bus was more horrible than the first one No Ac, No Sleeper option etc, it was like a city local transport bus. As the first bus did not have state permit or may be it is stolen bus.

see the fun no comfort, no proper treatment given even after paying such big amount. Disgrace on Jeyam Travels.

jeyam travel — bad services

I taken bus from koyembedu from jeyam travel . i paid 650Rs and they given me time at 7.30pm and journy hours is 12hrs. but they taken the bus at 9.15Pm and Reached 10.30 in between driver went for some inspection for 1hrs in mudurai checkpost. after all passenger went to RTO only come to know it was karanataka registeration and they have no permit.

All passenger are suffered a lot and this bus service was recommeded by Redbus also.

what to do after spend 650rs?
