[Resolved]  Jubilee Hills Public School — School Fees Hike Reg..

Dear Sir, I am just an ordinary citizen of India, currently residing in Hyderabad. would like to bring to your notice a very Serious issue being faced by most of the middle class families in the city. This is pertaining to the children's school fees. A lot of schools have all of a sudden increased the fees by 30 to 65% out of which my daughters school i.e. Jubilee Hills Public School, Jubilee hills is also included and have hiked the fees to almost 65% from the present one. Parents are spending sleepless nights trying to meet ends just to afford their child's education. We do not want to compromise on our children's education. But the way school fees are being increased, it is becoming extremely difficult to afford good education. Our children are the future of this country, and if we do not provide good education to them, it will eventually affect our country.

We humbly request you review the present schooling system. The following are some of the suggestions we have:

1. Schools should be affordable to everyone.
2. There should be a ceiling of 10% on the maximum fee hike per year.
3. The fee hike notification should be notified to the parents by January each year. So incase the parents feel they cannot afford the fees, they will have adequate time to scout for an another school.
4. Commercialization of schools should be reduced.

I am not sure if this is the correct forum for such complaints. If not I would appreciate if you could guide me to a proper place for highlighting the plight of parents like me.

Totally agree with this not only that particular school but all schools fees should be brought down
The complaint is absolutely false. The fees for this year has been increased by 10 to 15% only. Our School fees is very low compared to any other standard school in Hyderabad.
Could you please check the review comments that are written about JHPS on all the sites? They talk more about more
"Extra circular activities" and less education. Why BVBP Shools are always given the first priority and then jhps. They do everything(ECA) but still educational progress can be observed in students at all levels and are the best. Why don't the school introspect itself and see where do they stand. What best they can do to achieve the same.

There is a huge increase in the fee structure for L.K.G for[protected] year. It is 20k every term(three terms) excluding the transportation fees. The total fees is 75k(including transport). The fee on the site is old. Do you really think such huge amount should be paid for such level of teaching standards in the school.

We request you to take necessary actions and show the progress in children s instead of writing up the responses for the every post.

I see these days teacher are considering the ideas from the parents. Do not promise about implementing them.
