[Resolved]  Jyoti Gas Geyser — No installation done even after 4 days

Hi,

I have bought a Jyoti Gas Geyser 6l, on Thursday 16th December 2010. Today its 20th December. There is no one from teh company who showed up for the installation of the same.

I had bought it from Rajkumar Enterprises, Pimpri. When I was buying it, I was told that the technician will come to my place within 48hours time and will install the equipment. I was given only the geyser machine and was told that the Technician will come with the gas regulator and other fittings.

Its been 4 days now and still no signs of it.

I called them up on Saturday morning querying s to when would the technician come to my place from Rajkumar Enterprises, They assured that it would be done by evening and that I shall get a call from the technician himself. I waited till the evening but got no call from them. In vain, I called them up and asked them. They still didnt have any answer. So I asked them the Technician's number ([protected] [Deepak]). I called up this number and Deepak told me that he didnt have the gas regulator and that the Rajkumar Enterprises folks havent provided him with the same. All this happened very late so again couldnt call up the Rajkumar Enterprises people.

Next day morning, on Sunday, I shouted at them and told them what the technician had informed me the other day. The person who piced up the call said that he would call me back in 10 minutes after investigating the matter. I didnt get a call in next 30 minutes as well. So finally I called tehm up. First they said that that, I need not worry and that the technician has been informed of it and he will get it and complete the installation sometimes today in the evening hours.
However I was not happy with this answer, so I called up the technician himself. he wasnt aware of this fact at all and he simply said, its not available. Then I again called up the Rajkumar Enterprises folks and this time, they asked me to get the gas regulator myself and comforted me by saying that "you get it and we will pay for it".

Finally in frustration I asked the Technician to come and fit the rest of the things and I myself would get the regulator for myself whenever I get time. It wasnt possible for me to get it the same day as in Pune, the h/w shops close by afternoon on Sundays(this is what I have heard from most people). The Technician assured me that he would be at my place by evening 6-6:30pm.
He didnt turn up even by 8:30!. I called him up again and he said it wouldnt be possible for him to come any further today and said he would come the next day sometimes and install it.

I work in a company here which works from Monday to Friday and being private company we normally stretch our days so I come late back to my home. I stay alone so they cant come at anytime they wish.

Today, Monday 20th, I called him up at 4pm and asked if he would be able to make it for today. He answered he will get back to me by 6 and hung up the phone. It seems again I wouldnt be able to get it done today as well.

I am completely frustrated with these folks now and want to file a case against them for non-conformance to customer services in time leading to too many calls from my side, no initiative taken from their end and above all myself ending up in trouble for having bought such a thing from such a stupid and careless company and shop.

Please can someone help me on the same.
