[Resolved]  Karvy Computershare — POWER GRID -REFUND NOT RECEIVED

Dear Sir,

I applied for 1105 shares of Power Grid Corporation FPO through Bonanza, Palarivattom office in offline physical application form Application No. 18721007. ( copy of application form is enclosed ) subsequently on 16th November,2010 an amount of Rs. 99450/- is debited from my account maintaining with South Indian Bank, Palarivattom branch vide cheque No. 34020 . I have been informed by the Depository Participant that no shares of Power Grid is allotted to me. Then I waited for the refund to come. But result was disappointed. I didn’t receive any refund either as DD or as direct credit to my account. Actually the amount was borrowed my me @12% per annum from the bank for the purpose of FPO purchase. I sent a compliant to the Registrar Karvy Computershare through e-mail (email id einward.[protected]@karvy.com, pgcil.[protected]@karvy.com ). I haven’t receive any reply or call from the registrar till now. After that I called to Karvy, Kochi office on Phone No.[protected] and contacted Ms. Sreelatha about the issue. She told me that application no. is incorrect and the particular application is belong to someone else. I sent her the acknowledgement of my application through e-mail to the id [protected]@karvy.com. Again I contacted her and I got the reply as we sent it to Karvy HO and she promised a call to me on that day itself. But still now I didn’t got any call till now form any of the office of the registrar. Now I am in a situation that my principal amount is blocked and unnecessary (because of the bad service of the Registrar ) I am paying interest @12% to my banker. I feel myself in a very big trouble. I think Karvy computershare, which is the registrar to this issue, is misleadig me.

I request you interfere in this matter help me get my refund with due interest for the period delayed.
