Dear Sir/Madam,

For the last few months, the power supply to our village[methala] is inturrpting continously without any notice. The distribution feeder is from Athirappilly via Azhikode feeder.The authorities are not answerable to this problem. Each family having aged, deseased parents, and small kids etc.This is making their lives more dificult due to the irresponsible approach of KSEB. They are not making any permanent solution to the problem.This news has come in Mathrubhumi daily of May 1st,2010-Saturday-Page 13 of Thrissur edition.
We request to take necessary action to solve this.

Respected sir,
My electricity connection failed for the last three months. I informed the electricity office, Kothamangalam verbally and i found no response from their side. On 24th July i put a complaint on the complaint book (Page number 33, Sl.no.2 dated 24/7/2010). Still i didn't get the connection. I paid the one year electricity charge in advance (Receipt no. 218890 on 23/3/2010) as i am staying away from there. I would request you to rectify the problem at the earliest.

    Residing at AKG road Thykoodam Vytilla. It has been months that we are suffering from low voltage from 6:30 pm till past midnight. PLease look into the matter urgently and take appropriate action.

    there is frequent power cuts in Nanjappa layout, Adugodi, Bangalore 560030.
    Minimum 3 to 4 times in a day.
    For the past two years in my house there is very low voltage. I had given complaints many times but nobody cared to resolve this issue. In my house even during day time the voltage is less than 100V. I am unable to use the house hold appliances.

      Dearsir I am a consumer of kerala state electrcity staying in the changanacherry taluk vazhappally i am having a problem the electric supply failing 15 to 20 times a day when ever we complaint to the electricity office giving the explanation 11.kv problem we cannot do anything if they cannot do anything why they are sitting and paying for because of this i am having problem with my electric equipments .so look into this matter take action.

        sir,
        this is regarding the electricty bill in my house. the connection is owned by my mother. for the past few months we have been getting bill amount around 1000 rs. the bill amount amount was fairly regular. this months bill amounted to 1900 rs. but the consumed unit is only 92 units. and whwn we enquired about this the officcers told that the meter is having complaint and the bill amount is average of a few previous months. sir could you tell me how can this be done and what can we do about it

        Yes. The Board is not making spot Billing of for units used. Instead, making an average of total consumption for in a period and charging on that basis. Therefore, i request the board to kindly make spot billing effective to let consumers know how much units consumed with the amount required by them to pay for a particular month. Thankyou,

        Dear Sir,
        I am living in Kannur Dt, Velloor village area, this letter regarding my house elctricity meter, we wre using very old model meter that one is always making complaint, one of the electrican said it must be replace. ( fix digitel one ). We make more than 3 complaint to the electricity office, Kothayi muck, but still have no response from that people side. We think some of the workers wiaitng for money ( have lot of proof ), now what we do.

          Hello Sir,

          I stay in Kazhakutton P.O., Trivandrum and working into technopark. I am facing major electricity problem in my area since last 5 hours. I have tried to make a complain but nobody has responded so far. They said that we will arrange someone. But did not find any response.

          This kind of services leads to privatization of major services provided to mass consumers.

          Please help me to esclate this issue ASAP.

              i am a resident in trivandrum, thiruvallam and i have been charged rs 1556 this month. i am not at all using any powerful appliances.i have already replaced the meter 4 times. before seven days they have changed the meter.
              so, what should i do?

              Dear sir,
              Our place at chalissery in palakad dist.The later month november we get the bill from the reader is 180 rupees .He said the reason for that, when he come to our home, the gate was locked.Ok we ageed .But this month december we get the bill of two months including november and december.But our electricity bill payment section didnot decrease the rupees 180 from our bill.It is very cruval .Because the amount we payed(180) is not the charge of current we used.So kindly want to retun the amount 180 to me.

              Sir,

              NO STEPS TAKEN TO RE IMBURSE EXCESS AMOUNT COLLECTED DUE TO FAULTY METER READING BY THE KSEB MANIMALA(KOTTAYAM DISTRICT)

              Eventhen excess meter reading problem started by Nov.2010, the mechanical problem of the meter was realised by the board only in March 2011.

              I requested to re-calculate the average energy charge of six months prior to the mechanical fault shown by the meter.

              On 29/3/2011 &19/4/2011 complaints were forwarded to the AE Manimala and Asst.Ex. Engineer Karukachal respectively on the matter.

              No adequate reply or steps were taken yet to solve the problem.

              My electrical bill is always on 600 to 800 but now that bill became 1200 to 1400, out meter is old model. We contact an electrician, he said you must replace this meter because that is not working properly fix a new digital meter. Then we complaint many time to Electricity office, but no response from that people side. If we ready to give money, they will replace very fast ( but that is out of low and order ) because in other house they done work very fast.
              Then what I do, my name is consumer number 864, Kothayi muck, Opposit ayurveda hospital, near Payyannur.
              ( 3 times we make complaint )

                Sir,
                I got a current bill of Rs.612 last day. We are not using the current since 3 months. From February 12th 2009 onwards we are living on another house. So we switched off the main and not using the current. When we went to the electricity office they didnt take any action. Sir please take the action.

                high electricity bill

                i have recived my electricity bill for 1860 for a period of 2 months the bill appears to be inflated as i know for certain that our consumption electricity is not so high as to warrant such a high bill

                  sir,
                  I am a resident of Kottayam city and have been irritated by this kerala electricity board cuting electricity every now and then.I am a web designer and i do work on my computer and as every now and then power is going my works are getting seriously affected.Why is this power coming and goin like this??I have changed my cmos battery 2 times because of this.Are we Public just dumb and deaf that we are getting tortured by electricity board like this??Are their no engineers at electricity board to solve this power problem??What are these executives doing there?In what area is the government investing our tax as we are still denied of proper electricity?We are not expecting government to do wonders, atleast provide basic necessities of life?I realy do think that my complaint is genuine as m paying tax on time.

                  Wow!! wat an idea sirjii..
                  I am residing in Trivandrum District at Valiathura. I cannot understand why the power goes out in the night at 1.45am on a rainy day always .Yesterday too it happened. It goes and comes when we try to call the KSEB in the number 2451432 it will be always engaged at that time.On 24th the power went at 10.30am and came at 5.30 pm and when we called the KSEB they told the work is going on and if they are rectifying the fault then why they cutting the power in the midnight. It is a regular practice. Every year when it rain there will a power cut in the midnight till morning at Valiathura. If they know that why they are not checking the lines in the summer times . What the hell they are doing They are paid from the bill and tax paid by the public. Please take this seriously. If no action is taken I will have to complaint to higher officials .
                  Always darkens in cloudy whether in Karakkadu, Mulakuzha grama Panjayath.
                  When ever a cloudy or light windy weather in this area means a blackout for a day. If we called to the nearest station located in Kulanada the answer is the fault of mulakuzha office. These procedure is going last few years, we public is always in darkness, may be this is the part side of our gods own country.

                  i need urgent help on these matter

                  i build a new house in my property it near to the public electric post but the land is only 3 cent . i applied for electric connection but they are refused due to the land is only 3 cent according to present law not allowed to give connection to the house situated in 3 cent land it has not enough courtyard

                  My industrial connection disconnected with my request one year befor. The connection No.17126
                  at Alathiyoor section, in Tirur division. Still i didnot receive my deposit of around Rs 10000 after many request. I submitted all original bills last october when they requested.
                  So pls inform me when i will get my money back and what i have to do for that.

                  I believe there must be more responsibility and sincerity shown by the electricity board staffs as the interruption in power delivery causes greater difficulties in daily life to the people . I am a victim of this problem in a regular basis .. I am a working personnel living with family in CHALIKKAVATTOM, . ERNAKULAM ..Every day and night there is power failure now and then .And especially at night, the lack of power eating our brains.Every house hold work gets disrupted, and badly affecting children;s studies .If atall make a call to electricity board, [ernakulam], after a long busy tone, staffs will give all kinds of baseless reasons . We have to wait for long hours to get it back .Why dont these people realise that how there negligence affects common man .
                  And the most important issue is the area, CHALIKKAVATTOM is the most notorious place for all antisocial activities where women and daughters from noble and cultured background reluctant to walk in day light, imagine the fearful situation without power at night .There were many incidents of theft, immoral trafficking in this area .Some times this makes a single man's issue as it affects only some in the society and others left unaffected .Of course those who raise the voice, likely to be segregated in every means .
                  What i try to make clear is how things can get worsened, if people sit in a position does foulplay forgetting the responsibilities .Hope there will be some changes atleast by strict rules . Thank you
                  Kindly educate the bottom line staffs in electricity boards .Because we witness many illegal actions by them these days, misusing the facilities given to them .Few take things as granted, and turned out to be a public nuisance .Ideally govt .staffs suppose to serve the public, if there is no public there is no government too.Some are verry good, job oriented but some are really trouble shooters, by unnecessarily cutting power in some houses as a retaliation.
                  Street Light Placed in the road of Praikara-Puthyicavu of MAVELIKARA ( DentalClinic Junction..Near BH school -Prathiba Theater Connection), , alleppy dist ..Its a (TRI ROAD JUNCTION) Connectiong Road that too One way Junction Connecting major cities Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Mvk Road.
                  The Street Light hasnot been Functioning for an year or so.In this year KSEB has raised chargers, extra duties, & so many new rules on Amount to be paid.Why cant u people just find a solution for this.As we are using the road in evening returning from Job & also for morning walk..Do something urgently..
                  Its better we customers should call a TV channel to report this matter for Ministers to watch & finally make disciplinary actions against to you all

                  This is to bring into your notice that there is a lapse from the electricity board staffs in performing duties as well in behaving decently with customers .My residence comes under Palarivattom electricity board premises [Ernakulam] and as there was no electric supply for so long i called upto the electricity board no;- [protected] around 10 pm and the staff received the call was verry harsh, refused to do the necessary service and also told me he is travelling in a vehicle and when i asked his name shouted at me also for calling him for help .I do understand that the electricity boad phone numbers are mainly meant for customers in need and how a staff can deny the service out of it .Such behaviour from staffs are disgusting.

                  I had a building with Electricity connection at Mukkam, manassery calicut .But i sold the land 12 year ago.
                  but i forgot to change the ownership of electricity connection. but after getting a notice without cunsumer number from KSEB
                  then i contact the meter reader then about the notice . after that i never got notice from KSEB. But now i got another revenue recovery notice
                  that says to pay 1, 500 immediatly . So i paid the money with fear.

                  But actually why we need to pay the money ?
                  Why the KSEB inform to current building owner ?, because now they are using the electricty
                  What was the duties of the meter reader ?

                  We are confused that type of decision from KSEB.
                  Till now we are not getting the confirmation notice from KSEB. i doubtfull is it repeat after 10 year ?

                  Sir, This is posting your attention to solve our problems, In the KADAMPANAD KSEB(ADOOR Division) section area, Ezhammile canal transformer distribution area, when a cloudy or light windweather comes, full of darkness.If we report it to the Kadampanad section, they says, here is no staff or this is not KSEB office, They have no responsabilty about the job.These procedure is going on last few weeks
                  We the public is always darkness, This will badly effect the studies of the childrens
                  and the daily house jobs.So can you arrange a permenant remady for this power cutt.

                  i am resident of seethathodu panchayat in pathanamthitta (dist), I believe there must be more responsibility and sincerity shown by the electricity board staffs as the interruption in power delivery causes greater difficulties in daily life to the people. in our seethathodu here some peoples using single phase for welding in commercial purpose, so at evening we are facing voltage variation, we already give complaints to kseb seethathodu, but they didn't take any disiplinary actions. this workshop is located near to panchayat junction, kindly take disiplinary actions

                  I'm from Perissery, Chengannur...it has become KSEB's habit of disconnecting power without any particular cause these days...we can understand if the power fails due to rain..but these days power cuts when n often when the sky is clear...it happen in the night time when u r more in need of power..day before yesterday the whole night we had no power..n today also we hope dat it repeats coz wen I mail this there is no power...n d worst part is dat only our line is experiencing power failure..I had a phone call to d KSEB chengannur..but I have come out with an impression dat I hav talked to an irresponsible person...pls look in to it...
                  I am living in Muthoor, Thiruvalla There are several days where the power goes off for hours on end, and when I try to call the electricity board, the phone is taken off the hook and the complaint can not be registered. The interruption is not understandable, there is no rain, there are no issues, then why the power cuts? Other issues include lack of manpower, when a call is placed, there is usually one person to address the problem, amongest others. We have called the AE several times, and further up the line of command. How can this issue be addressed otherwise? I have young children, and elderly who have severe health issues. We use equipment such as a nebulizer and other life-sustaining equipment that requires power. We have an inverter, but how could that work when there isn't any current to charge it in the first place? I see that many people have made complaints previously, and many will complain after me. If these complaints continue to fall on deaf ears, we will have to take more drastic actions.

                    Interruption in Electricity

                    Sir,

                    I am a consumer of Kerala State electricity Board - Consumer No.18179, Electrical Sreekariyam section, sreekariyam

                    Due to technical failure of the electricity line connected with this consumer no, there is interruption of power supply during 6.00 evening to 9.30 night. Though I have complained to the Section various times, the problem has not been rectified yet. The problem is with only one line.
