[Resolved]  Kinetic Flyte — Criminal negligence

This is with reference to my earlier complaint regarding the Kinetic Flyte that I had bought from the Kinetic showroom - Sri Surya Wheels, Ranigunj, Hyderabad 8 months ago. I have been having a problem with the vehicle from the 2nd month onwards and despite repeated complaints there seems to be no solution in sight. To give you the history once again.

I took my vehicle for its first servicing and on receiving the same realized that petrol was leaking. I took it back to Sri Surya Wheels and they changed the tank as it had developed a leak. After that I had the same tank leak problem and other problems for which i wrote to you. This time you sent Mr. Mohan to repair the vehicle, which he did.

On 10th Jan, 2008 I took the vehicle for servicing because the tank was leaking again. The workshop engineer tells me that the tank will leak if I fill the tank, so only fill it 1/2 and I shall have no problems. He also said that this is a problem with this model and that I will need to manage in this manner.

Now my tank is continually leaking and there are heavy fumes around my vehicle. I called Sri Surya Wheels today and told them that the tank is leaking and i need them to come and repair the problem. The workshop engineer tells me that there is no danger if the tank is leaking and i can ride and bring the same to the workshop for them to check it out.

If an accident happens to property or person due to the leakage of petrol I will hold Kinetic Honda liable for criminal negligence and will sue the company for damages. Despite repeatedly bringing the matter to your Dealer and company's notice both of you have been taking the complaints very lightly. It is obvious that non of you understand the magnitude of the danger this vehicle poses.

I am once again asking the company to do the decent thing and return my money and take this vehicle back. As per your own dealer this model has a problem and has no business being on the roads in the first place. If you have sold me a faulty piece and there is no permanent solution to the problem, and I was not told about this problem at the time of buying the vehicle, then the onus of restitution lies with Kinetic. Why am i being made to run from pillar to post?
