[Resolved]  Kotak Life Insurance — poor services

I(Mohit Singla) had taken a policy from Kotak Life Ins in the month of Feb 09.But I did not recieeve my policy for next 6-7 month.Then I go to Kotak Office for my policy,then firstly they give the number of courier co and told u ask from them not us.Then with the help of one employee I put the number of mail for policy then atleast They provide me my policy on 28th Oct 09.Then I was not interested to contiue with that policy because They harash me with poor service.At that time I had submitted the request for free cancelation as per IRDA guidelines.They receive that request.Now they rejected to return my money.Please tell what I do in this conditionLook at you for justice.

(Sub: Kotak Life Insurance Unnecessarily Penalising me to get my above mentioned policy bond which they have never been delivered to me)

Dear Sir,

In the above mentioned subject, I would like to inform you that I have applied for the policy in October 2008. I have given my native address as the policy bond to be delivered. I belived the company, hoping that my bond will be received by my parents. My parent have received other company bonds which I have applied in the same time period except the K.L.I. one. I came to know about this when I am visited my native, the time was very nearing to my renewal premium paying date in k.L.I.

The company people informed me about the renewal premium payment. They called me, then I asked them to provide my policy bond. They assured me, if it is not delivered they will help me to get my bond. They requested me to pay the renewal premium first. I paid it and logged a complain about providing my bond on 25 November 2009.

For a long time, there is no respond to my complain. When, again I follwed up they told since it is a more than 1 year old case they assume it as delivered. So, they can not provide me my bond. Then I enquired, asked them how it is reached provide me the information. they told, it is send by speed post with consignment no EW[protected]IN. When I asked them whom they have delivered, there is no information. Even in the postal department, I enquired there is no information about delivering.

The K.L.I says me that only way is that I have to write in a stamp paper requesting for duplicate copy with payment of a penality amount five hundred rupees.

According to me, it is a unnecessary penalty on me. The company is unnecessarily penalising the customer and harassing. I did not agree to the company stand.

Finally therefore, I brought this issue for your attention.

I request you to instruct the company to deliver my policy bond without penallity and without any difficulty.

I, agree with him service renderd is very very poor, I advice people not to have any sort of transections with this company

pl approach consumer court, they will only collect premium & not sent the policy documents
