[Resolved]  Kotak Life Insurance — Bad Service

Some of my policy papers contained signature forged by Kotak agent. Requests to either cancel the policy or change the documents are ignored.

Correspondence:

Sir,

I am in receipt of the policy No. 02256664 Client ID 54171176 and Policy No. 02256671 Client ID 54175954.

Please note that certain documents attached to the captioned policies do not carry my original signature. A cursory look at the signatures on the forms and the signature on other documents will make this obvious.

It has been over 7 days since I have contacted the agent and informed them the seriousness of this issue. However no action has been taken by them so far. I also tried contacting the customer care but they are on holiday.

I am still within the 15 days free look period of the policy. I request you to kindly replace the incorrect documents or cancel the policy and refund me the amount.

Sir,

I had sent this mail yesterday but have not received any reply. I had a word with Mr. Amit (ABM), who assured me that he would have the documents replaced. I also spoke to Mr. Ram at customer care who advised me to wait for the official reply.

Kindly do the needful at the earliest and oblige.

Sir,

You have conveniently avoided replying to the core problem. Since the signature on certain documents is not my signature, I wish to either have the documents replaced or amount refunded.

Please inform me whether you can have the documents replaced with original signature or I have to cancel the policy.

Dear Kavita,

This has reference to my discussion with Mr. Abhishek and Mr. Amit on 11/5/2011.

The agent had forged my signature on various documents hence I had requested Kotak to either cancel the policy or have the documents replaced. Please refer to my correspondence below.

This is to put on record that it is over a month since Mr. Amit has collected fresh documents for policy No. 2256671 but I have still not received the corrected policy.

It is very sad that an organisation of high repute is firstly allowing its representatives to indulge in such activities and then taken so long to respond to client request. I regularly invest with various organisations but now I will have to think twice before investing with Kotak Group.

Kindly look into the matter urgently.

respected sir/madam, mene kotak ki policy no. 1740254 rs. 2000 monthly after 2 month mere pass ek call aaye unhone kaha wo audit department se bol rha h fir kha ki umesh aap apni policy half yearly karwa lo because usme mujhe mediclaim milega or bank account khol kar credit card bhi issued ho jayega me maan gaya than unja ek agent aaya jiska naam h haseen ansari jisne gud service ka promise kiya or rs.8000. Ka cheque le gaya or kha ki aapki policy jo 2000 monthly h wo half yearly ho jayegy so mene cheque de diya uske baad mujhe ek or bound aaya jisme ek new policy open ho gaye jab mene is baat ko mene btaya agent ko usne kha me thik karwa dunga bt wo ek month mer a ph nhi pic kar rahe mere amount bank se by ecs nikal rha h countinued so plz aap kuch kariye us agemt ka mobile m. Kotak Life Insurance — wrong information and forging signature

First i got the policy in 2007 by a agent and have been paying the cheques regularly.
now the company agent Mr MANOJ PANDEY calls me and asks me to submit 2 documents and cheque of 12500 Rs for bonus of 50000/ This information is repeatedly given to my family members by their calls
Finally i gave 2 documents and 1 photo. They send me new policy papers by forging the signature.
And they after repeadtedly calling them since 2 months , they dealyed the process saying they will return my money and they have suspended MANOJ PANDEY. . But now they saying i will have to return the policy and bear the loss of 70 %.
Fist they fool you once and again fool you repeatedly later.
They have been insensitive to my daily calls and request . They disconnect or give wrong information .

bhai policy wapas ker do, maine bhi kotak mahindra ki policy le rakhi hai. usme bhi signature mismatch hain, and reciept number and policy ke peeche form ka reciept number dono alag hain. maine agent se baat ki to wo kehta raha ki signature sahi kerwa dengey aur isi tarah policy ka 15 days ka free look period nikaal diya. maine mumbai office complain ki, then unhone kaha ki aapne 15 days ke ander claim nahi kiya. mera case insurance ombudsman ke pass pending pada hai and also in IRDA. I request you to please in sab ke chakker main na pado. abhi time hai policy cancel kara do. 15 dys ke free look period main. LIC is the best policy. Kotak is fraud.. There are many complains registered in kotak.

Kotak is NOT a fraud company. Agents ke through policy lega koi customer to hamesha fasega. dont take policy from any Agent. Approach directly to the company managers.
