I live in Padamugal Kakanad, our electricity bills has just shot up due to spike in the meter reading which is unusual since we have been living here since two years. I went to the thrikkakara electricity office and lodged a official complaint and request the Assnt Electrical Engg to have it check and investigated for faulty meter and replacement if required. He reckons this test and investigation will happen only after a month and half or more.
We are in modern age, why does it so long for a test and rectification, in the meanwhile he also mentioned that I should keep paying the bills that is twice the price of what we regular pay. Appreciate if these are taken seriously and corrective actions followed up.
Can some help me understand how this system works or do I have to go with the flow and suffer..
