I did book a ticket online for[protected] from Kottayam to Bangalore.
My PNR Number was J16404710.
The Trip code was 1800KTMBNG. The service was cancelled [ I did get a news that the service happens only for Friday Saturday and Sunday]. I was not informed of the same. If a service gets cancelled I think it is the duty of the organization who had collected money to refund it and inform the customer.


I did demand a refund atleast of the money that was deducted for this travel for which the service was cancelled. I did give a call to the awatar cell and they did reply to send a mail to [protected]@ksrtc.org I did do the same.

I did get a reply as below.

After this reply nothing did happen and my money was not refunded. Also I do not wish to call again to the KSRTC (any division) as the response is as if they are giving something for free to me.

Please treat this as a complaint and hope my grievances are understood by the authorities.

Now a days people just book e-ticket without confirming any thing. They just print out the ticket and come to the Bus Stand without confirming the news. If they book a ticket from the authorised Booking Counter, they can get the complete details. Many services will be on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. I always book the ticket from authorised counters only. If ticket booking is to Kerala, please check out there may be hartals/bundhs without any information.

Please check the timings.

I would like to take the opportunity to appreciate KSRTC doing a very good job and they are making outstanding performance in the business as well as establishing their routes with volvo busses. I'm based in Palamaner which is in Chittoor district of AP. There is a ghat section after passing the Palamaner town. I could see many major accidents happening atleast once in 2 days. It's taking many lives just with a fraction of time. In that majority will be because of KSTRC bus drivers itself. Since the vehichles are very good in pickup drivers can drive very fast and it leads to the consequences.

This is a never ending story and we have been seeing so many unbelievable incidents in front of her eyes, hence I'm requesting you guys cut down the speed for such kind of route vehicles, so that it will avoid accidents in a major way. Imagine if something happens one among us how bad the situation will be. Please think about this. This is applicable for KSRTC volvo busses as well. Those guys also drives crazy. Kindly take a necessary steps for such kind of route busses. It will be highly appreciatable. For your information I'm also one of your valuable customer since from 15 years.

My name is Srinivasa from Mysore, I am working in a private company in Mysore Ooty Road, Mysore dated 13/12/2010 Morning 8-30 a.m. waiting the bus near the JSS College in Nanjangud road, Bus no 212 Doddakattur Bus No. KA09 F 3624 the time is 8-57 bus was not stop in the JSS College bus stop and just slow the bus in diffictly i catch the bus in running only, after that I asked the condector he his replying the answer very roodly and also he is telling when i was join the job the government not given the trainning for me i am working like this only ! this is the way staff behaver with the passanger ?
please make the action against him.

BANGALORE IS A WIDE AND A BUSY CITY WHICH IS WELL KNOWN AND AS ITS VERY WIDE IT IS DIFFIULT TO TRAVEL UNLESS THERE ARE BUS FACILITIES, YESTERDAY NIGHT I WAS LATE AND AROUND 10 I WAS WAITING FOR BUSES AT SILK BOARD TO HEBBAL AND NO BUSES WERE THERE AND GOT A BUS TO MARATHAHALLI AND WENT HALF WAY AND AGAIN FROM MARATHAHALLI AND THERE WAS NOT ONE BUS FOR MORE THAN 40 MINUTES AND AT THAT TIME IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ANYONE TO FIND RELIABLE TRANSPORT. SO WHY IS THERE SO LESS BUS FACILITY IN BANGALORE AFTER 9 OR 10? CAN'T PEOPLE TRAVEL IN BANGALORE AFTER 9 OR 10? SAFETY IS AN ISSUE I KNOW THAT IS WHY I WANT TO REQUEST THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE BUS FACILITY TILL LATE NIGHT!

I and my wife went to south India tour from Himachal State, Kangra Distt, to pilgrimage and to see the beauty of south India for last ten days. While travelling form Kalghatgi to Karwar by Bus No. KA42F1492 We were charged double bus fare by bus conductor (His photo attached) around 2pm on 15th March 2016. When we disagree to pay double for the bus fare. The bus conductor threaten to kick out in the middle of the road. So we have no other choice, but to pay him. Therefore, we were very upset and writing this complaint letter.

Now, we request you all to take quick necessary action against him.

Thank you for your great help and secure tourist or passangers who came from other states.

    KSRTC buses are really terrible!!!
    Even if you are traveling for 16-18 hrs keep aside this fact of comfort..be assure that u will suffer from conductors miss behasvious specially female passengers.

    Last weekend while i was travelling from shridi to bangalore on KSRTC Ac volvo,the conductor dint bother wheather the seat was alloted to female passenger or not..he simply cared of boarding extra passengers on vaccant seats.He stopped the bus around 3am n borded the passengers.n allowed them to sit beside female passengers.Even when they were not comfortable with that.Conductor dint even listen to them and told them "i[censored] are not comfortable u can get down here itsel[censored] "

    What a single female while travelling can do..she has to simply shut her mouth.

    Morever the legging space between seats are too less that u willl always listen passengers fighting amongst themselve for this reason!

    I will never ever travel in KSRTC in future.

      With such a sad and desparate heart am raising these complaint.
      I had a train ticket from bangalore to thrissur on 12th feb and because of some pending work i was forced to cancel the ticket and book a ticket in kerala ksrtc bangalore scheduled at 7:30 evening.But in a hurry, i marked the boarding point as Bangalore instead of MADIWAL ST/JHNs stop.
      I called up Ksrtc and the repective person too spoke very rough saying why can't you book it properly.I somehow manage to get the conductors number and called up him.
      He blasted upon me asking me to come to satellite bustand. If i had that time to travel from whitefield to satellite bustand i would have never cancelled my train ticket.
      He started giving lectures saying you don't have sense to book it properly isn't it?
      Is that the way a customer expect from KSRTC department.I said if you can't do the needful let me contact your Authority.He kept the phone challenging me. And i find it real tough to travel in the same bus, so again unfortunately booked the ticket in 10 pm bus mentioning proper boarding point.

      Is it not fare .Is it like the conductors clearly understand that nobody is going to complaint against him.
      They behaves as supreme authorities.I have seen many condutors making proxy tickets too..

      With respect i know they too work hard for living .we too work hard for the same.So we expects some respect afterall.

      I firmly believe that if each citizen does his or her bit, we surely can make a difference, i am doing it here.Please the system also needs to respond and do its bit.

      I agree with the comp. and i want to add that the conductors esp.Lady conductors are corrupt.I had the experience of a lady conductor in volvo bus to chennai via Chittoor did not repy the change of Rs 250.She a ticket and declared it as commission.Asked me to get out of the bus if I don't agree.Thei she told me near Kolar...They are very corrupt and they don't care about customers and public.If it would have been chennai I would have dragged her to police station or to the travelling students who would have given her due.

        Dear Sir

        Sub: Suggestion to improve the services

        I had booked reservation journey ticket no 16317324 with PNR no J 15170234 for a return journey from Sringeri to Coimbatore on 16/01/2010. We were on our onward journey to Sringeri on 13th night reaching Sringeri on 14th Jan 2010.

        Here I must appreciate the conductor of the Bus who enquired about our travel plan, and gave us good suggestions to carry out our trip. Since our travel plan was altered we wanted to board the bus at Hassan on 16th instead of Sringeri. He guided us to contact the office in front of the Temple. There we met Mr Preetham and requested for the change of boarding place and asked him whether we should give an written application. He had noted the seat numbers in a note and told us that our request will be acceded and we can board at Hassan. When I insisted that he can give the remark in the bus ticket to avoid any confusion later, He said that when the trip sheet is made it will be taken care of and there is no need for any mention In the ticket. In the Sringeri bus stand again I approached the traffic in charge with the same request he again noted the seat numbers and gave the same reply.

        After visiting other places when we reached Hassan at about 4.45 pm on 16 Jan, 2010 I contacted the traffic inspector Sri Subbachar to get a confirmation about my boarding status. He guided to me to get in touch with the traffic inspector at platform no 2. When I approached the traffic inspector Sri Manjunath he took us to the reservation counter there and spoke to an official there. Then he contacted Sringeri Bus stand and spoke to them. Then he told me that I will get the reserved seats at Hassan. I was really pleased and thanked him for the good services.

        When the bus came at 9 p m at Hassan I contacted the bus conductor with the reserved ticket and asked him about my seats , who in turn told me to board the bus and if other passengers were there to tell them to change the seats. But the fellow passengers refused to oblige. Not only that , even a passenger commented, Reserve maduthanthe Gadi nee appan manaya. That shows how much regard a reservation is treated in the Karnataka Road Transport Corporation. Even the words of the traffic inspector could not yield any result, except that we got two seats for the ladies. When the bus started my wife said in anguish what is the use of reserving the seats when we had to be standing passengers. To that the conductor started in a abusive tone, probably emboldened by the fellow passengers earlier remark, that there are no rules for him to allow us to board us in Hassan, since we have not boarded the bus at Sringeri since he had no information, and it is because of his mercy that we were allowed to board.

        I infer the following from the above:

        1 When we have approached your sringeri office we could have been told that change of boarding place is not permissible. Even NO is a decision, where we could have made alternative plans.
        2 In the technical advancement of today if the change of boarding is permitted an entry could have been made so as to incorporate the change in the trip sheet
        3 Even after the confirmation from Hassan, if the conductor has not reserved the tickets for boarding at Hassan there is a communication gap, for which the reserved passenger is not responsible.
        4 Even a reserved passenger who has paid for his ticket in advance and properly planning his travel has to be at the mercy of the bus conductor, when a travel plan is changed and the request of the passenger is acceded.

        I am just bringing this to your notice not to claim compensation or to approach the consumer forum. I strongly feel no legal action can redress the grievance unless the concerned office shows moral courage to accept the mistake committed by its staff.

        I suggest in such occasions you can get a written application and give an endorsement on the ticket after the necessary changes are incorporated in the computer. That is why I have not written this letter as a complaint but a suggestion to improve your service.

          I had booked 4 tickets on 28/12/2009

          But had to cancel those tickets as we had dropped out plan, when i canceled the tickets it said , the amount will be refunded with in 7 working days, but the amount has still not bee refunded, i had booked it through my credit card,I kindly request you to please let me know, when the amount will be refunded and whom do i need to contact in further.

          I had booked a KSRTC ticket from bangalore, basaveshwarnagar (pavithra paradise) booking counter. The ticket details are given below:

          Booking was done in my name: Harmeet Singh
          Ticket was from Alleppy to Bangalore for 2 people, my wife and myself. We wanted to book (tatkal) train tickets from Alleppy. We had asked if we could cancel the bus tickets from any counter at Alleppy once we get the train tickets. The person at the counter said we could not do so and asked us to give him a call so he could cancel the tickets online and once we are back, we could return the original ticket and get the refund amount. We called his office on 23rd Jan morning to cancel the ticket for 25th Jan evening. His wife who also sits at the counter told we would get approx 1025 as refund as she will cancel now. We can collect the money once we return the original ticket after coming back to bangalore.But later when we went to collect the refund amount along with the original ticket, he said that we had not called and there wont be any refund.

          This counter is in Basaveshwarnagar (Pavithra paradise) and maybe the man would have done the same with many customers. He said me to complain: whoever I want to but he wont return a single pie. His name is Krishna and his contact numbers are : [protected], [protected]. I want to register a complaing against him and want my money to be refunded. Please help me with the same.

          KSRTC — Cash collection of tickets

          In Bangalore most of the condutors dont give the change, and some conductors dont give the tickets also, in Madiwala to Domlur ticket cast is 7 to 9 Rs but the conductors dont give the ticket and take only 5 rupees for charge, If suppose we ask ticket also they dont give at all, so please take necessary action against them,and put an order to all the ksrtc employees have enough change before they start the work.

          KSTDC — Rail Ticket Not Booked and Money not refunded

          This is to inform that I have been cheated a travel agent KSTDC New Hoysala Tours & Travels ( R) located in Bangalore.
          The agent was suppose to book rail ticket for me from Kolkata to Bangalore on 7th Jan'12 but same was not done despite their promise . Now when I am asking them for the refund of the money INR 6200 which was paid in advance vide internet bank transfer mode, they are harassing me despite my requests .
          I need help to get my hard earned money from the agent , the complete contact details of agent is as below.

          Hi, We were also cheated by that person called Sunil. We were offered a tour with 24hrs hot water supply, 5star hotel accomodation but cheated us giving low grade hotel. When asked about this after returning from the tour he and his team behaved like rowdies by sending group of people to our room and not allowed us to go out with different travel agents.
          We have stayed in different hotel with our own expenses and told him that we will deduct the hotel expenses on a particular day since we have not stayed in the hotel provided by them. He asked driver to leave us in Kodiakanal if the balance amount is not paid to him.

          Please take proper action on this particular tours and travels and ban their license.

            Sir, I happened to be a traveller on Wednesday 06 Jan 10 on a KSRTC bus plying from Arthunkal to Thoppumpady 1030 trip. (Cherthala Depot) After a particular distance the bus began to move through unknown route. When it touched the NH I asked the conductor to stop the bus to proceed my journey to Alappuzha. The conductor not only declined but behaved arrogantly even on the verge of abusing me. I could get the bus stopped after much hue and cry. Such flippancy from the part of KSRTC conductors is a common incident. Later I came to know that certain commuters (ladies) grumbled against me. Neither the conductor nor the ladies seem to have any knowledge regarding the rules. A person like me devoid of any knowlede of diversion of the route would have lost much time if the bus did not stop at the point requisitioned. As a costomer the conductor was not at all bothered to care a poor passenger who is a chronic heart patient. Humanity should be trained to the Conductors. Please teach the conductors a bit of common courtesy, capacity to understand the difficulties and emergencies posed by the travellers. The conductor of the above bus need a thorough drilling for his statement ' you need not preach' should be rectified by the real preaching of his superiors.

            KSRTC Bus — Not issuing tickets

            Hi,
            I am travelling from Indiranagar (Defence Colony) to DELL bus stop (EGL) everey day. Every day I am facing and seeing that the conductors collect exact ticket amount and don't give tickets to passengers. Today (Sep 11th 2009), I have seen that the conductor didn't give tickets for 80% of the people in the bus. I observed in each and every stop. Just he is collecting money from passengers and didn't give any ticket. I asked him somany times for my ticket and he was telling something else. Whle discussing with conductor, my bus stop came. The bus details are as follows.

            Service Number: 201G
            From: Didn't see exactly
            To: Banisankari
            Where I get into the bus: Indiranagar (KFC)
            Where I get down: DELL bus stop (EGL)
            Time: 11: 20 AM

            This is doing not only this conductor, many many. 90% of conductors are doing like this. But no one is taking any action.

            Because of this mainly KSRTC is loosing their profits drastically. People please think about this and take necessary actions if any Police office or KSRTC staff will see.

            KSRTC Bus — NOT ISSUED TICKET

            my 2 employee who traveled from bangalore ( 21.00hrs shanthinagar bus stand) to pollachi on 18.03.10. this conductor not issued a ticked till end of the place. coz of this type conductor KSRTC is losing the revenue

              Dear Sir,
              In many Govt. buses people with mobiles playing songs with high volumes causing disturbance to fellow passengers. They are not using their head set. Each person belongs to different places play their regional songs. I am not saying wrong to listen the songs but they creating headaches to fellow passengers.

              Please ask the conductors to warn the passengers who are playing songs without head phones.

                Dear Sir,

                I had cancelled 2 tickets on 17-Dec-2009 which was booked online on 8-Dec-2009 from KSRTC (URL: http://59.162.166.116/AWATAROnline/). And till now the refund amount is not credited to my Credit card Account. PNR Numbers are: J15735965, J15736157. And there is not a reasonable and proper response from the KSRTC Customer Service Team.

                After a lot of try i happened to contact a member from Accounts Section in KSRTC and on thursday(31-Dec-2009) i was informed that by monday(4-Jan-2010) the refund amount will be credited. But it has not happened. And now i have been trying to contact the Accounts Section and nobody is picking up the call. I have been keep on mailing the online refund email contact([protected]@ksrtc.org) at KSRTC and they are not at all responding. Yesterday the address([protected]@ksrtc.org) got invalid(corrupted) it seems the my last mail was not delivered.

                I have been calling the KSRTC Customer Service numbers and there are not proper response. The only thing that is happening is that my Mobile Bill is increasing and for what good?

                I have been using the KSRTC Bus service and i was satisfied with their Bus Service. But now i have lost all hope and i feel that they have completely lost their Dignity. Although i will keep trying to get my refund amount from KSRTC back i would request you all to never to use the Online Booking facility of KSRTC.

                yesterday i informed to cancel my E ticket by phone on [protected]
                as per instruction i was given mail also to custamer care through my friend

                Actuly delayed due unable to find Bus arrival plot form - on ticket its not available
                Bus time was 8:15 pm same time one another KSRTC bus also on stand, till departure time conducter not instucted any thing up to 08:25pm later on told this ticket not applicable to that bus.
                Bus number not available on ticket.

                In this case what i have to do?
                there is no any contact number on ticket for cancellation.

                on stand there is no cyber cafe

                reservation counters not ready to support.

                Actually which type of service is this?
                I unable to understand.

                Plz reimberse my ticket amount back
                and try to improve the service which help full and easy to custamer


                Plz see the below comunication details with custamer care but, there is no any respoce
                If reimbersement is not happened then its shamefull on KSRTC service, with out providing proper service
                like open way panishing the peoples.

                  I MADE ON LINE TICKETING THROUGH ONLINE BANKING FOR BANGALORE-BELGAUM A/C SLEEPER TICKET, FOR 26TH DEC 2009. RS/-651 HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT AND I DINT GET THE TICKET. I TRIED SEVERAL TIME VIA PHONE TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT THEY ARE NOT LISTENING TO M PROBLEM WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED AND INSTEAD OF THAT THEY ARE DISCONNECTING/NOT PICKING THE PHONE IN BETWEEN THE TALK. ONE MORE OPTION THEY TOLD ME THAT I WILL GET MONEY BACK AFTER 3 DAYS, BUT BEFORE TO GET MONEY I HAVE TO CANCELED THE TICKET RITE? EVEN THEY ARE NOT CANCELING THE TICKET AFTER SENDING 2-3 MAILS.                     I had travelled from Sagar (Shimoga dist) to Bangalore on 18th Nov night. It was Ksrtc Rajahamsa bus.as it was wednesday, bus was damn empty, I was happy to find my own seat and dozed off. 1 hour later I could see bed bugs have taken over my body. It was so horrible and few o[censored]s talked to the conductor who argued saying bus is clean and he has never bitten by bed bug. Immidiatle one clever person who was travelling with us caught hold of a bed bug which was runinng on his arm and showed it to him. Finally he decided to stop on the road and get us another bus which relatively had less number of bed bugs. I used to prefer ksrtc against private buses because of bed bug reason. But now ksrtc is beating the private players by large margin. So now I have decided not to travel in these buses anymore and prefer a day time train till the time it gets affected.Pathetic service by these ksrtc and private buses.
                    I suggest stop travelling in these until they fix it. If by chance you get attaked by these then make sure you put all your cloths,bags etc in a boiling water so that they die, else you can not eliminate these bugs. a single bug can replicate millions without a mate.also study says they survive without food for almost 4 years.
                    Think many times before boarding these buses.

                    KSRTC — Bedbug infestation

                    Bedbug infestation in most of the Rajahamsa buses on the route Mangalore - Bangalore. Even the Airawat is not spared. Considering the huge bus fare, either provide us with a comfortable, bedbug-free journey or lower the fare. We would at least have the satisfaction of not squandering for a night of bedbug torture.

                    Hi, this is Smitha here. I had booked a Rajahamsa bus from Bangalore to Taalikote for the night journey on the 13th of January scheduled at 8pm. The bus left on time and reached also on time, which is really commendable. But the sad part is that i was not able to sleep during the entire journey because of the enormous amount of bed bugs present in the bus. I spent the entire journey with no sleep. When the conductor was informed of this, he told that he is helpless about it. Therefore, I kindly request you to take some steps regarding the matter mentioned above so that the other passengers like don't experience the same kind of difficulty in future.

                    last week I travelled in Sirsi to Bangalore bus, within five minite of my jurney, lot of bugs spreaded over my seat and started biting. I complained Bus condactor but he is helpless. Please take some action.
                    I was travelling from perinthalmanna to mysore. On the night bed bugs spreaded and no one in the bus slept.

                      I travelled to Bangalore on Monday, 30th November 2009, from Chennai. I booked the e-ticket through ksrtc.in at around 9 pm the previous night. I wasn't able to get a prinout of the ticket, I tried to search for a cybercafe in the neighborhood but all of them were closed before 9 pm, as it was a Sunday.

                      I tried to ask my friend to get it printed in his office but that couldn't be done too. I noted down my PNR number, trip code, seat number on a piece of paper but the conductor wouldn't let me take my seat unless I showed the printout. I argued that he could check the PNR number, my name on the list and check it against the sheet and my id proof. But he forced me to buy another ticket and get the e-ticket cancelled. He wouldn't even write 41 on that seat, to show that I travelled on the same seat number.

                      I asked my wife to cancel the e-ticket at 6.05 am but it showed "No valid tickets to cancel".

                      After reaching Bangalore, I tried to cancel it through the internet, Bangalore1 office in electronic city, KSRTC booking office in Koramangala in vain.

                      Please let me know how to get my ticket refund.

                      Even the same situation happened to me while coming from tirupati to bangalore on 14/June/2010.

                      This time conductor is lady, her response is very irresponsible. I want two clarifications:
                      1. Why do we need e-ticket print out as we have id card to authenticate the person and all the ticket details ?
                      2. I purchased a new ticket from her but i want to validate is that ticket valid one or did she given fake ticket?

                      I don't want to complaint this on any kstrc sources as I don't want to waste my time.

                        I had a very bad experience 3 weeks back.I am a software engineer working at banglore and my home town is kottayam.I used to go home in private buses,but unfortunately i booked ticket on KSRTC rajahamsa for the date NOV 6 ,2009 .We were a group of 4 collegues including a lady.We booked the ticket 10 days before the date of journey.Our boarding point was Electronic city and time was 7.30pm..We reached the place by 7.10......waiting waiting waiting.....lot of KSRTC rajahamsa buses passed by,we asked those conductors,they said our bus will come soon.....After long 2.5 hours of delay,one KSRTC driver told us that our bus got cancelled......

                        How can it be possible????


                        We were jst screwed..the time was 10pm .We somehow managed to get a helpline number of So called KSRTC.but those aliens sitting there doesnt know any other language other than kannada..

                        how could they place a person who dont knw any other languange in the help line number of an inter state bus....?

                        We somehow managed to communicate wit him.he s not able to help..he said he dont know.he gave another number..Like that we called 4-5 numbers and atlast one helpline person gave mobile number of the conductor..We called that person and he said simply, the bus is cancelled and u can collect the refund now.......Imagine our situation , its 10.30 pm , its ok for we guys,but wut would be the situation of the lady with us...We asked him,can we somehow get tickets in anyother bus going to kerala...After requesting him a lot,he said there is a palghat bus at 11.20 and we will have to reach some unknown bus station before that.(we are new to banglore) . We took a taxi and somehow managed to reach the bus station.taxi cost 300 Rs.it was some 15 km frm our place.When we reached the station,we saw a conductor rounded by a violent crowd..Soon we came to know that he was the person we were talking on phone.....He managed to give us 2 tickets in a bus to palghat.he arranged the tickets only becoz there was a lady with us....The bus started by 11.30 .2 o[censored]s got seats inside .Me and my friend sat in the driver cabin along with another person who was also in our situation.....12 hours of journey in the driver cabin....And from palghat ,we need to travel some 4 hours more to reach our place in another bus....

                        On the way,the bus stopped at some unknown place in tamil nadu and we can see the driver and conductor transferring some goods from a van to the bus.....i dont know whether it is leagal or not....


                        How can they just cancell the bus with out any intemation.?? Why cant they inform us atleast 2 hours back ? It was not in the site..They said,there was not enough passengers booked for the bus,thats why the bus got cancelled.But the tickets was full on the website.In the website,the status of this particular bus was 'No tickets available ' and there wasnt any clue of cancellation...


                        I am really upset about karnataka transport and i would like to know what i can do in this matter to raise a complaint.

                        haha, , , why did u use Karnataka RTC buses? Those guys are always like this. They cancel the bus if it is not getting enough passengers. Use Kerala RTC buses, Kerala RTC will not cancel any buses without prior informations. If they cancel also, they will make some other arrangements for you to go home.

                            I am Sai Ranjan ,9th Standard student from sullia D.K , everyday in evening (@4.45pm) i come in KSRTC 'Suvarna Karnataka Sarige' Kasaragod-Dharmastala bus . that bus has 2 doors (automatic) , today i got seat at back seat , when my stop came i stood near door and called conductor to stop the bus , he put whistle , and bus stopped , the driver haven't opened the back door , i said him to open it at that time he said 'i will not open door if there is only one person ' then i requested him to open the door again , both conductor & driver used bad words , then i ran to the front door , then also he haven't stopped, after 2kms when some seniors scolded him he stopped the bus , what a irrresponsible behavior !! i will give complaint to KSRTC tomorrow regarding this

                            I am Savitha residing at Dharga, Hosur & working at electronic city Bangalore. Daily morning from 7:45 to 8:30 I stand in my stop but no KSRTC bus stops there if they want then only they stop. Daily they are not stopping there if the bus not full also they are stopping. There are somany people who will be standing to comute to bangalore but they never bothered to stop there. Some time if they had mood they stop and take all people. Why this is happening is it not there duty to stop and pick up the people. Daily i am coming through the route bus which is more costlier compare to KSRTC buses. What type of behaviour is this daily we all are suffering due to this.

                              Once I also faced similar situation when the bus operator (not KSRTC but some other operator) was not allowing me to board because I was not having print out of e-ticket. I offered to show my photo id but he did not listen. I was lucky that there was one internet cafe nearby. So I could take the printout. Later when I investigated the issue, I realized that the ‘Terms and Conditions’ clearly mentioned that it is passenger’s responsibility to bring a copy of e-ticket without which he could not travel. In this case also the policy clearly specifies:
                              "This e-ticket has to be carried by the passenger during the journey along with an ID Card(in Original) of the passenger whose name appears above. (Photo copy of ID is not allowed). "
                              Hence there is no case in taking this issue to consumer forum for seeking compensations. The chance of you winning the case is very bleak.

                                I have been using the KSRTC bus service for my travel to office from Choultry circle to LNT, i find the timings of the bus is not proper, usually 3-4 buses comes together and some times bus not comming for more than 30 mins even in peak office hours. Same way some of the buses are not reaching LNT gate, they turn in infosys gate which make it inconenient for most of the passangers waiting for bus infront of LNT, considering the distance and time its really difficult for the girls passenger to walk to huge distance in night to take up Bus. Requesting to take appropriate action on it.

                                Dear SirMam,

                                This is regarding the irregularity and frequency of bus services. During the evenings after 6pm the bus service from Infosys, Mysore to city is highly irregular.
                                There are no fix timings. Moreover the frequency of buses is very less. Therefore we have to wait for long and when the bus comes it becomes too crowded that it is difficult to board the bus. Many people are not able to board the bus.

                                Kindly take quick action on this, to increase the frequency and minimize the irregularity of the buses.

                                  Bus comes in same times, some times non availability of bus for longer time, taking huge time in issuing of tickets, as well bus not reaching LNT some times in the night making it inconvenient to the passengers.
                                  this is bring to your kind notice that no buses will depart on time to bangalore from kannur and thalaserry depot. this is causing big problem for the passengers. so they are moving to other mode of transport or opting kerala / private buses. so the remedy is u can make all bustand time check point to make it positve. kindly do the needful

                                    I had done ksrtc online reservation on 23rd October 2009 for journey on

                                    25/10/2009. PNR no H15216568 from Adoni to Bangalore for Karanataka Sarige through

                                    my online sbi internet banking with KSRTC Reference no. 0B1527521.
                                    The time of departure was 23.05 Hrs. and Pick up point mentioned as ADONI BUS

                                    STAND. I was one hour proior in bus stand but there on enquiry they said there is

                                    no bus as such reporting at that time. Still I waited till 23.40 Hrs. and not a

                                    didnt have other options as i need to be here the next day.

                                    If there is no bus then the KSRTC have no rights to create inconvenience for the

                                    passengers. It is biggest problem for a lady like me who travelling alone at night

                                    hours. I want my money to be refunded as i have not travelled. I also want that

                                    the care need to be taken if the buses are cancelled or diverted from that route,

                                    then the online passengers need to be informed as they KSRTC will be having our

                                    contact information. If they inform prior then we can go for alternatives, not

                                    waiting in some bus stands which are not safer at night hours.
                                    Plz i want the action to be taken as soon as it can be. Hope to get quick

                                    response.

                                    Hello, The same thing happened to us on 2/3 Jan 2010 (I dont remember exact date but still have ticket printout with me). we were to go from cochin to bangalore. went 1 hour prior to bus stand but bus did not come. It seems KSRTC has a habit of doing this. we were also stranded in middle of night.

                                      Hello,

                                      This is with regard to PNR no: J15877382 dated: 19/12/2009, the journey
                                      was from Bangalore to Tirupathi however KSRTC informed me at the
                                      KEMPEGOWDA BS that the bus is cancelled.

                                      Even after cancelling the booking through online by me on the same date, I have not yet
                                      received the refund of money into my account till date. It was stated that this
                                      would be credited into my account within 7 days. can you please look
                                      into this and credit the amount? I had already mailed (<[protected]@ksrtc.org>, <[protected]@ksrtc.org>) and called the departments number of times but no reply

                                        My brother and his family travelled from B C Road to Bangalore by Rajahamsa Executive coach bus vide ticket No. 15379280 PNR No. J15024798, Trip Code 2120MNGKGF. They had a horrifying experience in the bus with bed bugs all in the seats and biting all over. They had to travel the whole night sitting in the bus scratching their legs, hands and body. The conductor and driver were also not able to help them in this matter. People should avoid using KSRTC buses and rather wherever possible should use the railways.

                                        i do agree with same because i too have faced the same problem. there is no gaurantee that bus left from Mangalore will reach Bangalore either it gets breakdown(technical problem) near hassan or gets puncture in between... because of this we cannot reach to destiny in proper time and go to work. another major issue is the window which gets open frequently again we have to close it.

                                        I would like to inform that I had travelled from Bangalore to Panaji in the KSRTC Volvo Multi Axle bus which left Kempegowda Bus Station at 7.30 p.m. on 14th NOvember 2012. We were a number of students from BITs Pilani Goa and other co passengers. The bus had so much of bugs in the seats and the blankets that was given to us. The journey was such a nightmare that I was forced to meet the doctor on the arrival at Panaji and had to undergo emergency treatment. The authorities are requested to make it a point to get the bus cleaned up regularly in order to help us have a pleasant journey. We have been travelling with KSRTC for years and this is a very dreadful nightmare for us.
