I made an order for a Samsung Omnia W on 29/12/2011 on letsbuy.com. The order no. is LSB-753756. the purchase option chosen was EMI with ICICI credit card.
I received no updates on the progress of the order and it remained in processing for a week. I contacted customer care several times. Each time they used to tell me that they are having technical trouble and cannot give me an update on the order.
finally on the 06/01/2012, I decided to cancel the order and buy it from a local store. so i sent an email to them at [protected]@letsbuy.com asking for the sam. Seeing no response during the day i called up their customer care on[protected]. I spoke to a man who told me that he regretted the delay and he understand my situation. He said he would cancel the order and send me a status in two working days, and the refund would be made in 21 working days.
however, on the Jan 9th , 2012, i received an email from letsbuy informing me that the product has been shipped partially. the free accessory that they had promised on the website was not included. I called up their customer care, and this time they are back to their usual tricks. It seems they are having technical trouble and cannot give me an status on the order and why the order has not been cancelled.
I have already bought the mobile from elsewhere, and i do not want their dispatch, which i could perhaps not accept, so it would go back to them undelivered. I used my friends credit card for this purchase, and it seems the amount has already been given to letsbuy.
Letsbuy are so unresponsive and seem very dishonest and reckless the way they treat their customer.
I am really worried as to how deal with them to get my money back..
