Sub:- DISSATISFACTION OF LG PRODUCT
MODEL NO.GL-325TMG4 DOUBLE DOOR FRIDGE

I beg to bring the following few lines for your kind consideration and favorable action.

I had purchased a double door fridge model no. GL-325MG4 through INDIAN NAVAL CANTEEN SERVICE – KOCHI and delivered from P.A ASSOCIATES, 42/3534 COMPLEX, Providence Junction, old Railway station, Kochi-682 018, Tel:[protected] wide voucher No. RCSH/3155/07 and voucher dated 09/02/2008 on payment of Rs.16239.00

Before completing six month of period the down below door portion, lost cooling effect and heat produced. I had telephonically contacted the P.A.ASSOCIATES for help. Instead of helping, they had advice me to contact LG Service on telephone No.[protected]. I had further tried 3 days continuously in several time finally I could contact a Kannada speaking person and I explained my problems to him. He replied me that your complaint is registered and he will inform Thiruvananthapuram and a technician will come and rectify. One week passed. As no response, I had contacted personally and lodged a complaint in Darsana Agencies, Karunagappally. After four days a technician named Mr.Anil from Alappuzha had visited my residence. As it is under the guarantee period, he had replaced one white in color equipment underneath portion of back side (The name of the spare part, I am sorry, I do not know). Due to no response either from P.A.ASSOCIATES or L.G.Service, I had noted the phone Nos.[protected]Res), +[protected]Mob) of Mr.Anil your authorized L.G.Technician for further assistants. After a week, one Mr. Krishna bearing phone No.[protected], from L.G had contacted me in telephone and enquired my satisfaction about L.G Products which I have.

Last month, again the same equipment had further failed, thus the lower part of the fridge lost cooling effect and produced continues heat further I had contacted Mr. Anil. After two days he was kind enough to visit my residence. He informed me that this spare part (cost and service) shall be amounting Rs.900/- however after installing the equipment, he stated that at present no payment is required and if this is required to replace he shall charge then. I believe that spare part is a used peace.

Now, since last one week the same is defective, and the lower parts stopped cooling and create heat. For your kind information my electricity bill every month is Rs.380/- average. But please be noted that during the last defective periods, my electricity bill carry over up to Rs.600/ (each month)
Please further be noted that I had started contacting Mr.Anil on his given telephone Nos. since 07 Aug 2009 from morning 0700 hrs as the refrigerator became non-operational and understood a foul play is going on. As an e.g; in details, on the first telephone call, even he is fully aware that I am an old man, he had instructed me to lay down at the back of the refrigerator and turn a protruding part near the compressor three times and switch off the refrigerator for half an hour. Switch on again and turn the regulator inside the refrigerator from minimum to maximum three times. Then I can here a click sound. The refrigerator will be operational, and inform him the result. Please be noted that, I am a 62 year old man laid down at the back of the refrigerator and obeyed his instruction. I feel it is a great fun in my past life. Thereafter, everyday when ever I contact, by appearing my telephone Nos. in his phones, he never attends. Instead his wife/young children attend the phone call and answer such, he is in bathroom/ he is sleeping / he is not here / he has gone out. I am fed up. In between I had started contacting the L.G.Service phone No.[protected], till this moment no response. I tried to contact Mr. Krishna on his given Phone No. All the time continuously busy with busy tones. I believe that may be put in the mode of busy. Meanwhile I had received a message in my mobile from TM-LG Care that Dear customer, we thank you for giving us an opportunity to service your “Refrigerator” if you are Dissatisfied pls send 1, if satisfied send 2 to 575 7554. I had send my sms to that said phone No. “1” as indicating Dissatisfied. It is deeply regretted to state that, no response till this moment.

As the irresponsible act of Mr.Anil, your authorized technician, yesterday I had been to Darsana Agencies, Karunagappally and lodged the complaint at 1930 hrs .The man who received the complaint from me stated that Mr.Anil was here till this time since morning. And he started contacting him in his mobile. But alas he did not respond. I wonder, during the whole day while at stay in Karunagappally, he did not try to attend my complaint or at least contact me in my telephone. What sort of servicing systems and technician you have. I feel pity on L.G.Service system.

Yesterday, i.e, 18 Aug 2009 I further visited Darsana Agencies, Karunagappally and understood as no where about of Mr.Anil they had registered my complaint with L.G.Services.

Now I will not run around you all. I am watching your L.G Product’s advertisements in all medias such as daily news papers and all channels of Television. By doing that, that may be your style to cheat the costumers. To save the costumers from this type of cheating, I shall go to any extend for the awareness of the public, such as write ups in medias as letter to editors, publishing Notice to the publics during my entire travel and mouth to mouth publicity regarding the Dissatisfaction. Further I shall approach the consumer court for my grievances.

Before I start my all activities, you are requested to look in to my grievances and try to fulfill the satisfaction of your product.

I had gone through the complaints by the customers. It is true to the best of my knowledge and belief as per my past experience and peoples around.
For the same model i.e. 325TMG4, LG is making me run around its service centre in similar manner. I have a need to change the rubber & handle of this refridgerator and hence raised couple of complaints so far.

After all the follow ups, i finally got a call from the service centre guy in PUNE called Suresh and he mentioned that this model is no longer in production with LG and hence the parts wont be available for replacement.

To my surprise, i thought of checking it in closeby stores and was shocked to see that CROMA and Vijay sales are still selling this piece and they are still on their floor. Not sure if its the same case with the production of this piece of refridgerator...

I suggest all, not to buy LG products as they are of poor quality, followed up by poorest of serives.
