i had opted market plus plan of lic 3 years back policy no.[protected] branch 12 L and recently on 23/02/2010 i had surrendered the same on nav applicable as on that date. lic office had issued me the document aknowledgment receipt dated 23/02/2010 and it was told to me that surrender value cheque will reach at my given address within week. but I am sorry to say that 2 weeks passed but i didn't get my cheque. on contacting the branch i was told that cheque is not ready so far. I am totally disappointed to see the behaviour and response of the staff at branch, no body even bother to listen the problem of a customer. thru this portal i would like to give a chance to respective branch people to get my cheque made and deliever to me with 3 days from today otherwise i will have to opt for some harsh medium to resolve my problem. branch personnal may contact me at

LIC of India — Not get any thing after paying money from LIC India for New Policy

I have already post three times this complaint in Consumer Complaints but LIC cant do anything on that complaint.

Dear Sir,

My Name is Deependra Aggarwal. I have taken a policy for my Daughter in LIC. I gave a Cheque of Rs 16823 to LIC. ( Cheque no- 212100, Nainital Bank Ltd) on cleared date 26/08/2009. That time the amount was deducted from my Account. But Till today i have not recieved Any thing from LIC.

I contact several time in LIC office regarding this matter but they are not giving me any Answer. the kind of behaviour they do with me is very shamefull.

I m Giving u the details reagrding this matter. plz take appropriate action.

I WANT KNOW MY LIC POLICY STATES

LIC of India — Premium invalid

I have 5 policies with LIC of India, Branch 931. Policy nos are[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]. All the above policies are under Plan 27-0. The policy allows to change theplan from whole life to endownment after a period of 5 years. A period of 5 years have elapsed and I had not chosen any such option as result the policy should continue as a whole life. But to my surprise, the branch has exercied such option and converted the whole life policy to endownment.As a result my premium has increased and I have not been informed about the same. Hence, I am filing complaint against LIC to restore the features of original policy and accept my premium as for whole life policy.

I bought an insurance policy for my son VASU GUPTA S/o DHIRAJ GUPTA r/0 45 Shakti Nagar Jalandhar 3-4 years back. Agent collected the trust cheque. Then Nobody came to collect the cheque. Last year I got information to deposit Rs. 29252/- and same is deposited by cheque no. 69314 dated 12/03/09.
Now for last 6 months we are going to your local offices for payment certificate but nobody is issuing the same. Please help.

I have aLIC's Pofit Plus policy no.[protected] for sum insured Rs 50000.00 .The date of proposal was 2.3.2008 .I have sent my cheque of Rs 10000.00 but it was returned by the official of your office that the amount of the premium for the year 2009 has aready been deposited . further again I sent the cheque of Rs 10000.00 for the premium of this year 2010 it has again been denied.
