      I have applied for LIC Credit card with application no W[protected] which reached there at office on 12/10/2010 . I want to know the status of my application. But whenever i tried to call Toll free no always gives prerecorded voice reply for a time & after that Cust care executive cuts the line with replies " no response from your side, thanking you for calling LIC credit card helpline". This is happens with me for 100 of times .Also there is no response of mails.

      Could you please let me know how I can get the status?

      Hi Team,

      It’s a worst experience to share with all of you. I planned for apply a GOLD card which meeting eligibility criteria as required by company in brochure but I shocked while visiting office physically at 6th Floor, Jeevan Prakash Building, K.G.Marg, New Delhi. Good to say that I have not wasted more than 15 minutes with the LIC card officials. They simply told being a IT professional we can not provide card in this eligibility criteria, means require much more income slab. It’s also to be mentioned that I visited LIC office after taking each & every updates from customer care taking care of my valued time. My grievance is not that they told me I am not eligible rather why customer care not updated me and why it’s not updated in web.
      Anyways I am posting this to all consumer websites that they can be aware of it.

I HAVE SUBMITTED ALL THE REQUISITE INFORMATION AND FORMS DULY FRANKED THROUGH THE BANK TO LIC OF INDIA UDHAMPUR OFFICE BRANCH 13K FOR TRANSFER OF THE POLICIES. EVEN AFTER A PERIOD OF OVER A YEAR MY POLICIES HAVE NOT BEEN TRANSFERED. DUE TO THE I FACED DIFFICULTIES IN MAKING PREMIUM PAYMENTS AND NOW MY POLICY HAS LAPSED.               I have given Stamp Paper duly executed with fess Rs.80/- for duplicate Policy Document, which is duly acknowledge by The B.M., L.I.C.I., Nagaon Branch (488) on 11.09.2009. But the Branch has lost all record, policy docket and my stamp paper etc. and they are unable to give the same to me.

              So, please look into the metter and arrange the policy document at a very early date.

                  Hi,

                  I have a loan with LIC Housing Finance Limited. I have given an ECS request to debit the EMI on 14th of every month. The EMI was coming on 15th of every month and the amount was getting deducted without any problem as I used to keep the amount from 13th end of day. This month, to my surprise, the EMI came on 12th morning itself and got returned as there was no money when it came. However, I put the money in the afternoon on 12th and found in the evening that I had been charged Rs. 276 as ECS return charges. When I spoke to ICICI, I understood that the problem was with LICHFL. When I mailed LICHFL there was no reply. Then, I called them and spoke to one of their employees. I just couldn't tolerate her tone. Being in an industry that respects customer like god, it was a horrible experience. She just said, "We have initimated all customers. If you have not received it, I can't help it!". But, the arrogance is disturbing me. Then, I spoke to their Area Manager. He also sounded very helpless. I know I should not expect any decent behavior from a government employee that has rotten in that position. But, how do we make things better? I am helpless. Is there any way out? Can we complain this to anyone that could help us?

                  I have a loan with LIC Housing Finance Limited, Silchar, Assam. When I spoke to LICHFL on 13.01.2011 regarding Statement of last year deductions of my Housing loan for submitting the same for IT purpose. Then, I called them and spoke to one of their employees and requested to send the soft copy by fax/scan as at present I am posted at Nagpur. The Area Manager of Silchar Mr.Anand tone and reply is very bad and I am very upset from his reply. Repeatedly I requested him but he was shouting on the phone. Being in an industry that respects customer like god, it was a horrible experience.


                  My LICHFL loan acct # 802.Pl look in to matter otherwise I will forward the case to higher authorities.

                    I surrendered the policy on July 18th 2010. Before surrendering the policy I checked online and it shows if I surrender the policy I will get only Rs.44970 even in the LIC office in Trichy they showed in their system that I will get the same amount. Now I got information from the office that the amount differs and now I will get only Rs.31000. I would like to know is there a problem with the LIC Website and the LIC office system which shows incorrect information to the customers? Or the people in LIC are doing any malpractice. I thought of filing a case against LIC on this if I am not going to get the amount shown in LIC site and in the LIC Office. I have proofs for that and also I have a proof on the amount which was in the LIC office computer (I have taken a photo on my mobile when the LIC official checked the surrender value in their system). After all these things they forced me to take the amount which they calculated manually. It is a mere CHEATING COMPANY.

                              I retired from Reliance Industries Limited, Mumbai, on 30th June 2010. The amount I received from this Company towards Superannuation has been deposited with LIC of India who are supposed to give me annuity of Rs.2524/- every month. So far I have received only only one payment for the month of August 2010. When I personally visited their office sometime during end Sept 2010, they informed that my docket/file has been transferred to their Divisional Office at Ernakulam, Kerala. However, DO Ernakulam confirmed that they have not yet received my file from LIC Mumbai and following up with them for my file. Despite sending emails to them by DO Ernakulam, they are neither responding nor remitting the payment to my bank account. My annuity number is 091M[protected] and name K M A Menon. I am a retired person and partly depending on my pension.

                                  I had recently submitted two proposals for my daughters DOB 15/04/1993 & 03/12/1996, for Jeevan Saral Policy with LIC of India, Neyveli Branch. My second daughter is 'Congenitally Hearing Impaired', coming under differently abled category. While the proposal for first daughter was accepted, the same was rejected for second daughter and was told put in a request for return of premium. On enwuiry, I was told that for such children, LIC does not issue any policy except Jeevan adhar, as per their under writting policy. My request for a reply in writting has not been complied with, though more than a month has passed since.
                                  Why should such children, who are otherwise normal but for the hearing impairement, which is noway life threatening, be denied the policy given to any other child?

                                      Bima Gold LIC policy — non issue of duplicate policy

                                      Sir,
                                      This is to bring to your kindnotice that i have lost my original policy while travelling in the bus in pudukkottai local bus ihave also sent sent letter stating that i have lost my original policy through courier to LIC @ Pudukkottai Branch
                                      I visited Branch 126, Bharat Base Building several time and applied/requested for duplicate policy bond. I submitted all relevant documents along with the fee for issuing of duplicate policy bond on 16th July 2011 but still as on date I didn’t received the policy bond.

                                      Now the complaint is I have a policy in LIC of India, and Policy No:[protected], Branch code No: 681, Agent code No: 03701681, Agent Name : Asif, date of commitment :[protected], my Quarterly premium was approximately 18000/- and the same LIC agent ( who convince me to join in LIC) is collecting my Premiums from my wife, and loyally he given us cash receipts, within a week time

                                      seeing as couple of premium dues he collecting from us but he didn't giving the cash paid receipts, and I asked him by phone what is the reason he's not giving cash paid receipts and he said the cash receipts will come by postal, but until we didn't receive any receipts from LIC,

                                      can you please update me, what's going on in LIC, why they didn't sent cash paid receipts to me, is that agent didn't paid money or what is the exact reason, and meanwhile please advise me I have to continue my policy or I terminate, I joined in LIC because I trust in LIC of INDIA, now I considerate what is LIC and how it is working,

                                      please give me updates on this issue or give me the method where I have to approach for justification, otherwise I'll go Media and local Police for recollect my Money from LIC of INDIA,

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have to inform you that the above mentioned Annuity
                                      Policy stands in the name of my father late Sh. Amar
                                      Nath, who unfortunately expired during October, 2012.

                                      On going through the papers, we have come to
                                      know that he had made a will for the same in the name
                                      of my sister.

                                      As we are not having any further details of the said policy
                                      i.e. amount, maturity date, from which Branch the
                                      above policy was issued etc.we, would like to know
                                      whether we can continue the same as our
                                      mother is still alive and also it is possible that she
                                      may be sharing the policy jointly with my later father.

                                      Kindly inform us to whom we should approach
                                      for performing necessary formalities in this regard.

                                      Can you please be kind enough to inform us
                                      the Br. from where the above said Policy
                                      was issued. My late father used to reside
                                      with us at 12/119, Geeta Colony, Delhi-110031
                                      till his death, and our mother is still with us.

                                      I surrenderred my LIC Policy No.[protected] with LIC, Maligaon Branch (Guwahati, Assam)with Sum Assured of Rs. 1, 01, 000/- in July 2012 through Bank of India, Jorhat Branch as I had taken a loan against it from the Bank.

                                      One S.B./ Money Bank of Rs. 20, 200/- was due on[protected] before surrendering the policy.However, the amount was never received by me.

                                      The amount I received from the Bank was without the S.B./Money Back of Rs. 20, 200/-.Though I had approached the LIC Office on a number of occasions, they have not yet addressed to my grievances.

                                      Can you please advise me how I will get the amount of Rs. 20, 200/- from LIC?

                                      I have made a request to Branch Manager, LIC Branh No.128, Janak Puri, Community Centre, New Delhi that I have shifted to Bhopal and my three policies (Jeevan Saral -2 Nos. and 1 Bima Gold) are from the LIC Branch No.128 and requested them to transfer the said policies to LIC Branch No.C.B.O4, Bhopal, “Star Planet”, 9, Zone-II, Maharana Pratap Nagar, Bhopal-462011. But so far I have not received any communication regarding transfer. I have been calling them on the following nos.28855163 and 28855161 but nobody is picking up the phones. Other issue My Market Plus has also matured on 31st March 2013 and accordingly I have sent the original policy and other relevant papers (forms, cancelled cheques etc.). I am yet to receive the payment. I have tried my agent Shri Inder Pal Singh even he is not picking phones. Kindly help and guide in this regard.
