LIC — Non receipt of Maturity Value

Sir, I have submitted Original Policy no.[protected] to LIC, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Western India House, Sir P.M.Road, Mumbai. In reply to my complaint at LIC's Wesite I understand that they have despatched DD no. 110486 on 28.3.2009, which is not received by me. My letters to LIC remains unanswered. How do I get my hard earned Savings.

annuity no.071M[protected]. The rate of interest for the annuity monthly interest payment was decided by LIC at less than 7% based on the existing interest regime in 2002 when I retired. It was not even basd on the average of previuos 5 years' average. Now throughout my life, I suffer by getting annuity payments based on such a low rate calculated without any reasonabe logic. Written complaint to LIC has not resulted in any justice.

WE DISCHARGED OUR LIC POLICIES NO.[protected] AND[protected] AND SENT TO LIC WAZIRPUR NEW DELHI BRANCH. WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE MATURITY VALUE CHEQUES WILL BE SENT ON MATURITY DATE I.E.20TH MARCH2010. TILL DATE WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR MATURITY VALUE CHEQUES.
TODAY WE CONTACTED THE BRANCH. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE CHEQUES ARE READY BUT THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DESPATCH AS EVERYBODY IS BUSY.
IT APPEARS LIC STAFF HAS ONLY WORK, WHEREAS ALL CUSTOMERS ARE FREE. WHY THEY CAN NOT ENSURE THE PAYMENT ON DUE DATE.
WHO IS GOING TO BEAR THE LOSS OF INTEREST AS WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR PAYMENT AS ON DATE.

I have not recd. any letter / information regarding my annuity pension from you as yet, thogh i have been informed by my office that a letter regarding the same has been sent to me at my mentioned address(which i have not recd.).
