Luminous Inverter — poor service

Dear sir,
we have purchased a Luminous inverter 800 va with Exide battery Inva Queen450 on 12.03.2010 Ref.cash memo no-365, dt-12.03.2010 by name my wife -Kakoli Biswas from Battery Centre , Madhyamgram , Kol-700129 , westbengal.After that during loadsheding the backup time is 5 - 45 min.for 3 cfl(15w) and one TV. Battery showing low .Complain done verbally on 16.03, 17.03,& 19.03.2010 . They alwayas assuring it will taken necessary arrengement. But till 9.30pm on 19.03.2010 no action taken. we felt very very poor service from your authorised delear - Battery centre,Rani park,Madhyamgram Chowmatha , tel. no-[protected]/[protected], Kol-700129.

as commented by Mr.Rajesh Singla regarding TATA INDICOM NTERNET Service he cant access to the service but how can Mr.Rajesh approved to other service provider like why not he adopted the his advice on himself.If someone buy his reccommended product or that product is failed to his area, is he responsible for that.

600 va ups — POOR PERFORMANCE

I HAVE PURCHASED A 600VA UPS THREE MONTHS AGO. BUT ITS PERFORMANCE IS VERY BAD FROM THE FIRST TIME INSTALATION. WHEN POWER IS GOES, IT NOT PRODUCES THE BACK-UP. WHATEVER ITS BATTERY IS COMPLITLY CHARGED.
PLEASE LOOK AFTER THE PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. DUE TO THIS FOUR TIMES MY PC WINDOW CRRUPT.

I have purchased one 650VA Luminous inverter two year back from Luminous dealer in Gurgaon. Two months back I have repaired the inverter but now it has started giving the problem again. I bought a luminous inverter in the year 2008, and still thats under warrantybut yesterday all of the sudden it stopped working.all the light seem normal however at the back of the inverter there is pin socket and that got burnt.The power suppy from the inverter got stopped.i have informed the shop from i puchased that.

Inverter — Poor service

We bought microtek invertor in october 2008, but now we are facing a lot of problem and again customer care department is not responding properly. After 8 mnths they are saying there is some problem in the wiring. They are just loosing their valuable customers by not responding and not giving proper services.
I am in Gorakhpur City Uttar Pradesh I purchase a luminous inverter 600VA.My inverter is not working properly. My waranty period is 7.08.09 Icomplained to service centre. I complained to service centre on date 08.07.09 but at that time there is no response by service centre of Gorakhpur Very poor service.
Poor service – Luminous Inverter

I have been trying to approach the Company but in vain. Only the call center is approachable but they cannot help beyond taking the complaint. I have the following grievances :
(1) The call center says that the mechanic will come between 24 hours to 48 hours, but they come after even 3 days.
(2) The call center has given 8 telephone numbers but none is picked up. The numbers are 40778221, 40778222, 25558913, 25558914, 25558915, 25558916, 25558917 and 25558918.
(3) The website of the company - www.luminousindia.com - doesn't show any address of the company. It has been done deliberately so that no complainant could reach them.
(4) The website doesn't show any phone numbers except Toll Free numbers.
(5) The website does have the features of 'Feedback Form' and 'Complaint Form', but after feeding the relevant details, the "submit" button doesn't show action after pressing it.
(6) The call center has given one e-mail address of the company, but on my sending the mails, the company has not responded back.

Luminous inverters — bad service

Complaint Details : Date of Purchase - 18.05.2008 Bill No. DE/11994/08-09 (Luminous 800VA Inverter
Ups and Luminous Battery 1600 with 24months warranty.
The product failed to work on 30.04.2009. I informed the company as well
as the dealer. The dealer refused to help, the companygave the time of 24
to 48 hrs.but the electrician of the company reached after 4days after
reminding frequantely. The electrician tride to repair the product. Till
16.05.2009 I noted that the product was not working properly. Informed the
service center immediately. They gave the time again for 24 to 48 hrs but the engeneer came after 4 days. He changed the faulty part. The product remained fail when the electric suply faild for two hours. I further informed the company but now they did not take the complaint this time and suggested to change the bettery, while the electrician of the company checked the bettery and found it OK. If any of the product (inverter or bettery) is faulty, the company should either repair or change the same because the fault occured within warraty.
Till date no one visited to solve the problem .
The complaint No. provided by the core center is 275077.

Luminous — post purchase services

hello,

we want to logg the complaint against LUMINIOUS . WE HAVE LOGGED THE CALL ON LUMINIOUS CALL CENTER ON 27.07.09 CALL LOCK NO IS DLI319257 .after 48 hrs ups engg has come but he did not rectify the problem due to non avalibity of parts. he said next day he will come and replace the part.
Next day he has come and told me that battery have a problem and it need to be replace and this replacement will take another 4-5 days. i have contact MR Bakshi(Battery area Inchargh)he also said your battery will replaced after 4 days then i have contact his regional manager Mr sureshand he assured me that on 31.07.09 your problem would be resolved.4 days already has gone . here 10-12 daily power cut.
I am facing lot of problem due to inverter problem. Problem is still unresolved call center is saying problem will take some more time.

You are requested to kindly look into matter because co are playing with consumer and we are helpless.

This has reference to our complaint no. DL/319257 regarding our luminous invertor that was locked on 27.07.09. Noone came to resolve the complaint on 27 july`2009.Someone came on 28 july`09 in the late evening.But he said he did not have the required part i.e.PCB which he promised to bring the next day. Then on 29 july`09 he told us that there was battery problem and he will take this battery for replacement and give a standby battery till that was replaced.
On 30july`09 no one has come till now. We have talked to Mr.Bakshi (contact no.[protected]) and Mr.B.N.Sharma (Contact no.[protected]). They have told us that it will take 4-5 days to relace the battery.
We cannot expect this kind of service from a company like Luminous .
Please resolve our complaint at the earliest as already 4 days have passed and solution has been given.

LUMINOUS INVERTER — Poor Service, Poor technician

We have purchase Luminous Inverter at April ‘05, now we have take AMC. But we faced a big problem in our inverter. We have booked so many complain DA24928, DA26307, DA31152, and DA31784 but we have not satisfied response from your side. Our problem does not shoot out. People from the service center came and correct it then after few hours create same problem. Now WE ARE COMPELED TO TAKE THE ISSUUE TO THE CONSUMER COURT AGAINST LUMINOUS
i had purchased a luminous inverter on feb 2009 and got the firslt battery replacement on 23/6/09 and now again my battery is dead saying one cell is not functioning so to replace it again, according to this every 3 month i have to replace my battery very very very very poor service and very very very bad manufacturing
