there is not any satisfactory answer by the company.

Luminous inverters — no service

my invertor in service period has stopped functioning. Company has not attended to my call. i am repeatedly given phone no of people who are to be contacted , but i dont receive any response
Hi Dear Mili,

If your product has a service period then for sure you are entitled to get help for servicing the product. With my Luminous product there have been no hassles yet, when it comes to servicing. No need to contact here and there… Simply contact the customer care and lodge a request for servicing. That’s it! That’s exactly what I do. I hope I was able to solve your problem.

Hi buddy; I also have a Luminous inverter. I have never had any problem with the customer care department of Luminous till now. When ever I call them, they very patiently answer my queries and solve my problems and arrange a visit of a technician if at all any repair process is involved. It seems that you are having a tough time. Try speaking to higher authorities and I am sure you’ll find the help you are looking for.

    poor service

    we have purchased a Luminous inverter 800 va with Exide battery Inva Queen450 on 12.03.2010 Ref.cash memo no-365, dt-12.03.2010 by name my wife -Kakoli Biswas from Battery Centre , Madhyamgram , Kol-700129 , westbengal.After that during loadsheding the backup time is 5 - 45 min.for 3 cfl(15w) and one TV. Battery showing low .Complain done verbally on 16.03, 17.03,& 19.03.2010 . They alwayas assuring it will taken necessary...

    Dear Sir/Ma’am,
    I had purchased a Luminous Sine Wave Inverter in the year 2005.
    Recently, the original battery of the inverter discharged completely as it had gradually weakened over time. I got the battery changed with a genuine new battery to find that the inverter still failed to work.Finally, I lodged a complaint at Luminous Service with Complaint No.: DL 361733, Dt.: 23.10.2009.
    A service engineer [Mr. Sameer ([protected])] arrived at my home on 24.10.2009 and on diagnosing the system, told me that due to the inverter having to work on a very weak battery, the circuit inside the inverter had got short-cuircuited, and the solution was to get the circuit board changed, and replaced by a new board. The cost of the new board was quoted as Rs. 1250. I asked him again if the board which will be replacing the faulty board was a genuine, new part, and I received an affirmative response. No other information was conveyed to me during this encounter.
    The next day, i.e. 25.10.2009, Mr. Sameer arived at my home and changed the faulty board, and after having done so, suddenly broke to me the news that he will be taking back with him the faulty board. On asking him the reason for doing so, he told us that Rs. 1250 was the replacement cost of the board and that a new board cost Rs. 2250. We asked for a price list to verify his claim, but he was unable to produce it. And further,the supposedly ‘new’ board he had installed was established to be an old part which had been repaired.
    This is simply a case of highly unprofessional behaviour on part of a trained serviceman. There was no transparency in the manner he dealed with me. Correct information was intentionally withheld from me until the last moment.
    And moreover, I also wish to inform you that during the abovementioned service engineer’s visit to my home on 24.10.2005, a set of earphones went missing. Now, I assure you that I am not adding this complaint merely to support my case, but this behaviour on part of a professional the nature of whose job requires him to build trust with the customer is very,very sad and noxious to the customer-company relationship. I have no doubts as to the whereabouts of the missing object. Barely 5 minutes before the arrival of the engineer, my son, who was the only person present at home during his visit, had noticed it, and moments after his departure, the earphones were missing.
    This incident not only shows unprofessionalism and an intentional attempt to misguide and dupe a customer, and a shameful breach of the customer-company relationship.
    I hope that the relevant authorities will take notice of this and take immediate action to put a halt on such malpractice.

    I PURCHASED INVERTER FROM AUTHORISED DELAER, ITS LESS THAN YEAR AND IT NOT SUPPLYING THE POWER. COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN MADE SO MANY TIMES. BUT NO ACTION IS TAKEN YET, PLS LOOK INTO THE MATTER SERIOUSLY AND TAKE US OUT FROM THE WORST PROBLEM

      i bought the UPS two years ago however since last year back had gone down to just one minute or so. I complained to the vendor who send someone to mend it however no improvement happened. Now it stoped working completely.

      i never expected such a poof performance.

      I have been subscribing luminour batary and invertor in sep 2008 for two batary becuase our hour is big but after one year invertor showing batry low we registered complaint and technicine come and cheked the invertor and batary and replaced invertor motherboard and said that
      no problem come near future but after one day when the light shut invorter charge it shoe that batary become low and it shut down after five minutes we registered complaint again technicine came and cheked invertor and said that your batary has been showing low so your warranty period is within you logon a complant and change you batary.
      so I request to you please change our inveror batary becouse childern exam near and without electricity no one can read or write.

        I BUY A INVERTER JUST BEFORE A MONTH ON 11-JULY-2009, WITHIN A MONTH IT FAIL AND NOT WORKING. I INFORMED COMPANY, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL RESOLVE IT WITHIN A DAY. BUT NO RESPONSE, I LODGE A COMPLAINT ON 19-AUG-2009 IN COMPANY. PLEASE REPLACE MY INVERTER.

        Dear Sir,

        This is bring to your kind notice that I had purchased Luminous Inverter -800Va sign wave with Battery 1L 18000+ Trolley module for worth Rs 13000/- on Dt 19-07-09 vide bill no 215 from your Authorised Dealer M/s Shiva Electronics which is located at Panchkula Road Baltana, Zirakpur (Punjab). I would like to inform you since from installation the inverter is giving regular problem and I have logged the 2-3 complaints into your local service centre. The details of complaints are -6797 dt 05-10-09, ul62796 dt 06-10-09 and other is not having the record. The Technicians visited on the complaints and made the small maintenance which was not satisfied and finally the PCV card is damaged in 2 and half months.
        If they checks seriously and takes carefully on 1st complaint then I think that the said component is save to damage. Now I want replace the complete Inverter instead of changes the spare because this is the major spare of the machine and after changed if the said component is damage again then it does mean that there actual problem in the machine.
        Regarding this issues I have been discussed with local officials as well as sales executives but they are forcing to change the component.

        Sir, you are requested to pls look the matter and help to getting replace the complete Inverter. I shall be highly thankful to you.

        We already log the complaint 3-4 days back but there is no reply...?

        I have bought a luminuos inverter on 12/06/2010, serial number-B2CL3P[protected] from Multi channel(garia, kolkata).Within 2 months time it started showing faults, ie within the warranty period.I lodged a complain number-UL104895, althought your company claims of resolving the problem within 48 hours it took 2 weeks for your service person to come and attend the problem inspite of several repeatative reminders.The service was not at all satisfactory.He told us some reason and wrote some other reason in the service report form, inspite of our explainations he said if this problem persists call us again and left.Naturally after a few days we checked all the wiring of the house and reduced some of the loads as he suggested, still the problem exsists.In kolkata the service numbers provided to us from your head office is hardly picked up by anyone or switched off.If we call the 24 hours helpline or headoffice they refer us to kolkata centre and hardly accept to take any responsibility.I have again lodged a complain, number-Ul108229.Please see that the service is provided as soon as possible & it is resolved as well instead of only doing eye wash, if necessary replace the troubleshooting machine.I heard a lot of your company so we made a decision to buy it but unfortunately viewing your service I conclude that it was a wrong decision as you people make big promises in your advertising agenda but don't fullfill it.Moreover the way our complain is being attended we feel like being cheated.I hope you belong to one of those companies for whom reputation matters a lot, so please try to solve my problem with full sincerity.

          We purchased a Luminous inverter, Model# UPS/LB – 800VA, Serial/Mfg Code #972591 on 16/08/08 from Deep Electricals, Vikaspuri, New Delhi. We had also taken an AMC for its maintenance from the same dealer and his agents had come once in Jan 09 for the first AMC visit. It was working fine till 24/06/09, when suddenly it conked off. Since then it was a nightmare to get a complaint registered. The dealer said it is in the warranty period so to contact the manufacturers. But to get through their call centre and get a complaint registered took us 5 days. Finally the complaint(Complaint #302805) was registered on June 29, 2009, 2:04 pm. Now everyday we call up all the phone numbers available and are able to get through only after a few hours - just to hear that today definitely someone will visit and rectify the problem. But they never turn up and we remain under house arrest waiting for them. THIS IS TORTURE. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONDUCT BUSINESS IF IT DOES NOT HAVE A PROPER AFTER SALES SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN PLACE. THEY JUST WANT TO SELL THEIR PRODUCTS AND THEN FORGET THE POOR CONSUMER WHO STILL SUFFERS POWER CUTS DESPITE SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY. ARE THEY WAITING FOR THE WARRANTY PERIOD TO GET OVER.

          Services are very bad. Even after registering the complaint, none of the engineer has visited the place till now.
          I totally agree with the complaintant..They promise everyday but it is a nightmare to buy a luminous inverter.Is there anybody to listen.

              I launched the complaint on 28th may 2009 . My inverter was not working. My complaint no was 285991. The person from Luminous approached us and told us that plates in inverter has damaged and he had to bring the new plates.The next day was sunday . so He didnot come. On Monday after waiting till 3.00 PM again I called up and requested them to do needful. Then they came and changed the plates. The Inverter on the next day again stopped working . Again I launched the complaint And my complaint no is 283443. This time again he came next day after launching the complaint. He checked the inverter and told us that something is wrong with inverter. So he has to take it to the company and check it properly. So he will come again next day for that. Then again he did not come till 3.00 PM again I called up luminous office atleast 5-6 times and requested them to come and change and give the stand by. But after not availing my request I told them that I will go to consumer court they at last came at 4.30 PM and changed the inverter with stand by. Now again on the same night the stand by inverter stopped working. I again called up in the morning and requested them to check but after so many requestes one person came and told us that he cannot do anything as Inverter is fine and something is wrong with battery. We have checked the battery and that is working fine . But he is not ready to listen and neither their office staff. Tell me what to do . I can not live without inverter one more day as it is very hot. and because of which we have bought the inverter. I request you to do needful

              we have purchased inverter three year ago. it works properly for 1.5 year but after 1.5 yera we have changed electronik card three t1me as per instruction by your service provider and despite this the inverter not working properly. even as per your guidiance we have change the battery and changed again electronic card four days before but in vain.today again the inverter not working. sir, we are very very furstate due to this inverter kindly look in to the matter and arrange to solve our problem. it may be possible that your service provider put some repaired electronic card instead of new one. because some one told me this type of complaints from yours service provider boys.kindly do the needful at your end

                  Hi,
                  I am residing at 3/10 sec -5, Rajinder Nagar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, (up).I had purchased a complete set of luminous Inverter with two batteries in march 2008 through your dealer (Glow Fast, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, up).
                  Within less than one year the inverter was repaired 2-3 times with replacement of certain parts. The inverter is still giving lot of noise and not working satisfactorily. Since the inventor is in warranty period and giving repeated problems and certain parts have already been replaced by your service centre, it is very clear that the instrument is not up to the mark. I had already endorsed my remarks on the repair report to replace the machine/instrument (inverter). I had purchased this inverter with the faith and believe that your company carries a high reputation and reliability. I am confident that you will not disappoint my faith and replace the above within 7 days of my request.

                  LUMINOUS INVERTER — Poor performance and bad service

                  We have purchased a 800 VA sine wave luminous Inverter from Kakkar Power system dated 7-10--07 by bill no 931. we are facing the back up problems from the very begning. we have made the complaint to the dealer to this effect, but he did not pay any attention to our compaint. whenever we call to regiter our complaint he does so & give us the complaint number & says that they will get back to us with in two days but they never do even after filing the complaint so many times. Various complaint numbers provided by him are DL[protected], DL[protected]. DL (55060), Dl(58024). These are only the few numbers we have made a note of only after realising that they are not responding to our calls.

                  We had purchased a luminious inverter in May 2005 from Ashoka Trader, Sector-29, Faridabad. Now it is creating problem. The top of the inverter is burnt. Please send your representative to check the problem. Our address is given below:

                  We have purchase one Luminous UPS (800VA) with Tubular Battery from SANCHI-SALES Corporation Sahibabad.
                  As per commitment this UPS are not able to take a load of 500VA.
                  Your Trolly are not available in Mkt. till date.
                  So, we can not place properly my invertor in my home.
                  Kindly look this matter immediately.
                  After repeated phones and e-mail no one has visited out house for servicing till date. Only the new address I think has been noted and put in record.                     Hi,
                    On 31/03/2009 I have booked a Luminous inverter (800 VA) and Exide Battery (Invertor 1500 FT ) from a Luminous Dealer (Dealer Address: Battery Centre, Ranipark, Madhyamgram Chowmatha (Opp Subhas Maidan).Kolkata - 700129, Contact Person Name: Sanjib Guha, Mobile No: [protected]). During booking he has insisted me to buy a Luminous battery of 150 Amp. But during discussion we told him we want exide battery only. Though in the booking slip (No.309) he wrote he will provide us Luminous Inverter (800VA), Luminous Battery and LuminousTrolley and Price would be Rs15500/-. But after installation we found that ha has installed TEZ Inverter (Instead of Luminous) of 800 VA, Exide Battery (1350 FT-Inverter) and a normal trolley. After installation he took Rs 14500/- from us. When we have gone to his place he makes us understand that 1350 FT Exide Battery is equivalent to Luminous 150Amp Battery, though we asked for Exide 1500 FT battery. And when we have asked why he has given TEZ inverter instead of Luminous, he is just ignoring the fact. Please advice us what do we do? Please take action against this dealer.

                    I am agreed with the complaint. I asked dealer to send a luminous inverter to me but he sent Tez inverter instead. When asked about genuineness he showed backside of catalouge where it is written that contact details: Registered Office & Customer Support Division Luminous Pvt Ltd. He tried to satisfy me but in vain. Tell me how justified he is?
                    I agree which is written by Mr.Inderjeet shingh.
                    I had purchased Luminous Invertor from The Kakad Electrcal Co. Nadesar Varanasi.

                    Despite repeated complain to Luminous service center on phone No.[protected] & to dealer person Rajkumar, Owner no service is received. Since last twodays there phone is switched off. So before buying Luminous product think twice.

                    recently i purchase one luminus inverter 600va sl no B5CL3L[protected] FROM VINAYAK INFOTEK, 11 GOENKA LANE KOL-700007 VIDE INVOICE NO VI/176/[protected] DATED 08.07.09. I WANT TO TAKE 24 MONTHS WARRANTY. PLEASE ADVICE THE ACTUAL PROSSES TO TAKE THIS FACILITY.
                    i do agree with the complaint as when i asked for the reason why he gave us tez inverters instead of Luminous, , , he told me that tez is an product of Luminous nd is under control of Luminous...can someone pls tell me is that true or not ..

                    I have also got TEZ Inverter instead of Luminous, surprisingly address of Luminous mentioned on the box as a manufacturer. Luminous must clarify this issue.
                    There should be atrict action against these dealers as they are cheating the customer and bringing down the company goodwill.

                      The so called sine wave inverter of Luminous that I purchased in December 2008 has failed to give me power back-up. Team that up with non-caring customer care staff at Luminous and you have a life cursing product at your home. The number of calls I made to their customer care can equal the cost of the product itself. My advice to the world - dont go for this product as you will have to repent. Their Engineer who oblisged me by coming after a month of lodging complaint said it is a manufacturing fault. I have not heard from the company ever since. Their policy is - sell a bad product and give a bad service.

                        being a 1400 va inverter it is not working properly and company persons are just saying one thing that it's

                        15 months back we have purchased a luminous inverter. It is not giving even 5 minutes backup. Inspite of
                        being a 1400 va inverter it is not working properly and company persons are just saying one thing that it's

No body has ever come to repair/inspection whether the invertor is working or not working. You are onces again requested to come and inspect and if need be repair the same at the earliest.

                          AFTER 5 ODD REMINDALS NO ONE HAS TAKEN CARE OF IT.
                          AS PER COMPANY PROMISE THEY ATTEND TO COMPLAINTS WITHIN 48 HRS, BUT AFTER 25 DAYS OF REGISTERING THE COMPLAINT NO ONE BOTHERS.                             sir, i had made a complaint on 17th of june, 2009 regarding my inverter but i didn't get any reply from any person . tell me wot would i do or i go to consumer court.
                            I have luminous inverter. for some time it is giving problem. When we used for 10 to 1 minutes when light is not then inverter start chaging continuously. Earlier it was automotically cut and then returned on mains. Now it is not come to mains and continuously charging. A lot of electricity is being consumed. Please toll me what to do?

                              We have luminious inverter in our house. Which stop working since last 10 days .We are continously contacting to call center and service center. But they always talk in a rude manner and there is no response from them . Yesterday, at about 7.30PM one service man came and after checking the inverter informed that battery needs replacement., and Luminious compnay will change it.                                 WE HAD PURCHASED LUMINOUS INVERTER ON 3RD MAY 2008 WHICH COULD NOT PERFORM EVEN FOR COMPLETE ONE MONTH AND STARTED TROUBLING. I THINK INVERTER IS MEANT TO PROVIDE LIGHT WHEN THERE IS NO POWER SUPPLY BUT OUR INVERTER IS CUTTING LIGHTS EVEN WHEN POWER IS THERE. OUR POWER PLUGS ARE WORKING - AC IS ON, TV IS ON, WASHING MACHINE CAN ALSO BE SWITCHED ON BUT INVERTER CONNECTIONS ARE NOT PROVIDING LIGHT. WHAT AN IRONICAL SITUATAION AND THAT TOO FOR THE PERSONS WHO ARE SO PARTICULAR ABOUT THE QUALITY THAT THEY DID NOT PURCHASE A LOCAL PRODUCT FROM MARKET FOR RS.8000/- AND SPENT RS.11600/- FOR A BRANDED THING.

                                WE MADE A COMPLAINT WITH THE DEALER, STANDARD ELECTRICAL, ASHOK VIHAR. A PERSON CAME FROM THE COMPANY BUT COULD NOT UNDERSTOOD THE FAULT, JUST TOOK THE CARD OF OUR NEW PRODUCT AND REPLACED IT WITH ANOTHER RECYCLED CARD (BECAUSE IT IS COMPANY'S RULE THAT WHETHER THE TROUBLING UNIT IS NEW OR OLD, THEY WILL REPLACE ONLY RECYCLED CARD - WHAT AN INTELLIGENT DECISION OF A COMPANY SHOWING THEIR MONOPOLY) BUT THAT ACTION TOO COULD NOT WORK OUT. AS SOON AS THE PERSON LEFT OUR DOOR GATE, THE INVERTER STOPPED SUPPLYING POWER AGAIN. AFTER THAT, WE ARE MAKING CONTINOUS COMPLAINTS WITH LUMINIOUS DEALER, COMPLAINT CENTRE AND LUMINOUS COMPANY DIRECTLY BUT NO USE. WE ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE THERE IS 2-3 HRS POWER CUT IN THE NIGHT WHICH IS AFFECTING OUR ROUTINE BUT COMPANY IS NOT CONCERNED.

                                NOBODY CAN MAKE A COMMENT UPON THAT WHETHER THE CONDITION OF THEIR PRODUCT IS MORE POOR AND PETHATIC OR THE SERVICES OF THIS COMPANY OR THEIR DEALER. WE HAVE DECIDED NOT TO KEEP THIS PRODUCT WITH US. WHEN WE CONVEYED OUR FEELING TO MR.NAUSHAD AT THEIR COMPLAINT CENTRE, HE HIMSELF MADE A COMMENT – GOOD, WHEN WE ASKED WHAT???? HE SAID, NO NOTHING, I AM SAYING I WILL TRY TO SEND SOMEBODY. IT SHOWS HOW THESE PEOPLE ENJOY WHEN THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE SUFFERING.

                                  i had bought a luminous inverter from power enterprises shop no 256/1 sec 16 vasundra ghaziabad on 22.10.07and was given a bill no 102 on which 17 months warranty is written.warranty card was not given but i was assured that the warranty card would be given to me at the earliest.till date no card has been given despite my repeated calls .the serial no is also not provided on the inverter and the shopkeeper accuses us of removing the serial no.

                                  We are electrical consultant to MSEDCL and various electricity boards. We have purchased the luminous inverter in all our branches
                                  We have procured luminous battery and Inverter model sine wave 1400VA from Exide corner, Chitrakut Hotel, Nasik on 15th Dec 2006
                                  As battery become old we purchased new battery on 13th June 2009.
                                  On 11th March 2010 one battery cell gets defective and it was in the guarantee period we have given it for the replacement to the Exide corner. Exide corner replaced the battery after 3 weeks and give back on 5th April 2010.
                                  After the replacement of the battery it was noticed that due to battery fault inverter PC damaged. We informed the same to Exide corner and he has taken the inverter for repair in 2nd week of the April.
                                  The Exide corner informed that he is awaiting PC from Luminous. Hence we contacted your local dealer Mr. Balani He informed that the inverter is outdated and hence we will get PC after 2 weeks. As we have not received the PC we contacted your Pune office to Mr. Pankaj and Mrs. Chaitrali. After discussing with her boss she informed that on 10th May PC will be deliver to Nasik office As we have not received the same we contact again then she informed to contact Mr. Arjun Singh when we contacted him, he informed that it will take time and by 21st May we will get the PC positively.
                                  Neither you are taking any action nor keeping your commitment. We are working only 4 Hrs in day time due to load shedding and to complete the work our staff has to be work late hrs due to your battery/inverter is out of order for last 2 month
                                  We request to provide new PC or service inverter as promised by you by 21st May.

                                  But now I am regretting. These people do not have a proper After Sales service. The engineer they had sent to my home he was only looking for making money from the customers. My inverter is still giving me trouble and no solution.

                                  322 and 321 dated 15.07.2009 On 14 of january I have lodge the
                                  complain with my dealer on the given no. on Bill. Inadvertently the
                                  same was not communicated to your service centre. on 17.01.2011 I have
                                  recall him they have given me the number of service centre when i have
                                  to your service centre your representative have come and they have
                                  advice to contact to the dealers when I have contacted the dealers
                                  they have confirm to to resolve the matter at earliest. Today I have
                                  recall my dealer they have told me that the warranty period was expire
                                  on 15.01.2011 as such it neither be replace not entertain by the
                                  company.
                                  Kindly advise us that due to mere delay in communication between the
                                  dealer and service centre the customer has to suffer. Please look into
                                  the matter and give us the true value of my money as I have already
                                  lodge my complain within the warranty period with my dealer as on the
                                  bill the no of the service centre is not given.

                                    Hi,

                                    We have luminious inverter in our house. Which stop working since last 2 days .We are continously contacting to call center and service center. But they always talk in a rude manner and there is no response from them .

                                    we had an invertor of your company it is not working properly since two weeks and i am continusll compalining to your call center people but they are not giving the proper and relivant answers .Due to this type of attitude i am going to file an case against your company in the consumer court as my inverter is new and this type of attitude we had not expected from your company no body is responcible in your company who take an action on this matter seriously.

                                    I HAVE PURCHASED LUMINIOUS BATTERY No. 18000 WITH 18 MONTHS GUARANTEE & LUMINIOUS INVERTOR OF 600V WITH TWO YEARS WARRANTY FROM YOUR AUTHORISED DEALER AT ULHASNAGAR M/s. NYANESHWAR INVERTOR SERVICES, NEAR TILSON SHOPPING CENTRE, ULHASNAGAR-421003 ON 25TH MAY, 2007. THREE MONTHS EARLIER I HAVE COMPLAINED OF LOW BACK UP FROM BATTERY TO YOUR DEALER M/s.                                     I HAVE PAID THE PRICE FOR 18000 WHY COMPANY IS PROVIDING ME 1600 WHICH IS CHEAP WITH LESS POWER.

                                    We had purchased a Luminious inverter two years back and the same is in warranty. For last one month I am trying to get the problem fixed but the inverter guys blame it to battery function and vice versa. Incidentialy after talking to the service centre chief, he is also not inclined to respond. As usual the call centre number does not respond and the service centre chief is more interested in making people listen his ringtone rather than responding the call. One of the most obnoxious level of service ever seen

                                    Luminious Battery/Inverters — Non-functioning of Maintenance

                                    I purchased one No. Luminious Battery/Inverter in 2008. I have to remind the company everytime for its regular check up and timely maintenance etc. Please see that Company should send its Service technician and provide service etc. as per regular schedule and requirement. Now it is not working for the last one week. Already lodged complaint. Hope to receive prompt action by Company to give better service to its customer and good market reputation/image for prospective customer.
                                    I purchased luminous Inv on 10.08.09 and was out of function 10.10.09, complaint was lodged on toll free vide UL63759, technician came on 15th Oct., informed us that the card to be replaced lastly my invertor was send to the Jaipur Service Centre on 27th Oct. after that the mobile no of technician is out of range, what to do now?

                                      WE ARE COMPELED TO TAKE THE ISSUUE TO THE CONSUMER COURT AGAINST LUMINOUS -SAR INFOTECH LTD, BECAUSE OF THE BUSINESS LOSSES AND CASH LOSSED WE HAVE ENCURRED IN PAST 4 MONTHS DUE TO THE PRODUCT - LUINOUS INVERTER WHICH WE PURCHSED FROM THE SAME COMPANY DUE TO THE POOR AND PETHATIC AND NON -RESPONSIVE BEHAVIOUR OF THE SERVICE DEPTT OF THE COMPANY,

                                      my inverter in not working proprly plz give mw revert asap
                                      we have bought luminous invertor in may and i got problem in june starting, i dont know what 2 do, i complaint it to service center, but they have some bad rules like they will not come by the same day of the complaint, me from ludhiana and these days in punjab we are suffering with short of electric, we got some of 6 - 8 hours power cuts . i had paid 4500 /- for new, but if i know this company service that kind of bad, i never buy that one and in fututre i will not advise anyone for it .
                                      I am holder of ICICI Bank Credit. Sir, I want to know how to file complaint against the Bank. I had obtained a health policy myself. Due to some reasons, I discontiued the same. The authority has cancelled the policy 5.1.2008. The confirmation has been received from the Bank. From this card, I was never used for purchasing any items from this card. I have made request for cancellation of the crediit card with immediate affect. The Bank was informed me that credit card has been cancelled. In the month of July, 2008, I had paid Rs.680/- vide receipt No.C[protected], dated 9.7.2008(that is final payment) on the request of Bank saying that this is processing charges etc. Today i.e. 5.8.2008 the Bank informed me that Rs.200/- is due and same may be deposited immediately in Rohini Branch. Otherwise, the next month the some more amount will be paid by you.

                                      Sir kindly inform me accordingly.

                                      No responce to your local dealer after suppling the inverter to the inverter.

                                      I bought sinewave 800 luminous invertor from a Delhi dealer in January, 07 with one year guarantee and two years warranty on. It started giving problem due to some techincal flaw in the Luminous circut. A complaint was lodged with Luminous Service Centre at their Head quarter office in Feb. 07. The company just repaired the fautly circuit instead replacing the faulty invertor. It has again started giving problem about 15 days back. A complaint has been lodged 15 days back with the service centre at Janakpuri, Delhi. The company's techinician has taken the faulty invertor for repair at their service centre. But the company is not delivering the invertor back after necessary repairs or replaced one inspite of repeated reminders through call centre and direct with their service centre. I do not know what to do. Kindly advise.
                                      Our Faber Cooktop that was repaired for the umpteenth time just 15 days back is again not working... The entire ignition system is faulty and their engineer who came to repair last time said as much...In fact after he came one burner stopped working altogether.

                                      Mr. Mukesh Rustagi and Mr. Russell Fernandes have done nothing for resolving this complaint that has been persisting for the past 11 months. They never take calls and it takes 1 month of persuasion to get their engineer to visit your house.

                                      Now they are waiting till our warranty gets over.

                                      Such companies have to be taken to courts and their MD's punished personally for looting the common man with sub-standard products.

                                      Can you manage to have this pathetic cooktop replaced...

                                      Luminous makes good products. I am using its products and I have no problem with it. Recently I bought a UPS Minimax 500VA of Luminous. It is again one of the magnificent products of this Power equipments company. In Patna its customer services are also very good and I am using luminous Sine Wave Inverter also and am getting very sound costumer care from luminous. Minimax 500 VA costs Rs. 4470 and it provides very good backup. As there is not very good condition of electricity in my town we are quite happy having this UPS. I would like to share a funny moment of this Product when we run three computers for more than half an hour. We are studding in Patna. I and my two other friends are working on a very important project. Suddenly light had gone but we have to complete that project on same day so when my friends UPS gave last weep I connect all three computer with my luminous Minimax UPS and we all completed our work. After that we became loyal users of this Brand. Now I can recommend every one to buy Luminous Products because these are very reliable and workable.

                                      My name is Samiran and I am a CA by profession. I had purchased a Inverter from Nijhawan Electronics in Ghaziabad in Aug-2009.
                                      But now I am regretting. These people do not have a proper After Sales service. The engineer they had sent to my home he was only looking for making money from the customers. My inverter is still giving me trouble and no solution.

                                      If anyone wants to buy an Inverter I will advise yjem to NEVER.. NEVER BUY A LUMINIOUS PRODUCT...
