we have purchased a Luminous inverter 800 va with Exide battery Inva Queen450 on 12.03.2010 Ref.cash memo no-365, dt-12.03.2010 by name my wife -Kakoli Biswas from Battery Centre , Madhyamgram , Kol-700129 , westbengal.After that during loadsheding the backup time is 5 - 45 min.for 3 cfl(15w) and one TV. Intentional withholding of information to cheat and theft by service personnel

Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I had purchased a Luminous Sine Wave Inverter in the year 2005.
Recently, the original battery of the inverter discharged completely as it had gradually weakened over time. I got the battery changed with a genuine new battery to find that the inverter still failed to work.Finally, I lodged a complaint at Luminous Service with Complaint No.: DL 361733, Dt.: 23.10.2009.

I want Replacement of my Inverter

I BUY A INVERTER JUST BEFORE A MONTH ON 11-JULY-2009, WITHIN A MONTH IT FAIL AND NOT WORKING. I INFORMED COMPANY, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL RESOLVE IT WITHIN A DAY. BUT NO RESPONSE, I LODGE A COMPLAINT ON 19-AUG-2009 IN COMPANY. PLEASE REPLACE MY INVERTER.

Luminous Inverter Cheating Needy Consumers

We purchased a Luminous inverter, Model# UPS/LB – 800VA, Serial/Mfg Code #972591 on 16/08/08 from Deep Electricals, Vikaspuri, New Delhi. We had also taken an AMC for its maintenance from the same dealer and his agents had come once in Jan 09 for the first AMC visit. It was working fine till 24/06/09, when suddenly it conked off. Since then it was a nightmare to get a complaint registered. The dealer said it is in the warranty period...

Inverter not working and Services are not provided

Not working and services are not provided

sir,
I launched the complaint on 28th may 2009 . My inverter was not working. My complaint no was 285991. The person from Luminous approached us and told us that plates in inverter has damaged and he had to bring the new plates.The next day was sunday . so He didnot come. On Monday after waiting till 3.00 PM again I called up and requested them to do needful. Then they came and changed the plates. The Inverter on the next day again...

Bad service/Non Performance

Hi,
I am residing at 3/10 sec -5, Rajinder Nagar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, (up).I had purchased a complete set of luminous Inverter with two batteries in march 2008 through your dealer (Glow Fast, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, up).
Within less than one year the inverter was repaired 2-3 times with replacement of certain parts. The inverter is still giving lot of noise and not working satisfactorily. Since the inventor is in warranty...

Foul product

The so called sine wave inverter of Luminous that I purchased in December 2008 has failed to give me power back-up. Team that up with non-caring customer care staff at Luminous and you have a life cursing product at your home. The number of calls I made to their customer care can equal the cost of the product itself. My advice to the world - dont go for this product as you will have to repent. NOT PROPERLY WORKING

4 months back we have purchased a luminous inverter. It is only giving 40 minutes backup. Inspite of
being a 1400 va inverter it is not working properly and company persons are just saying one thing that it's

Service Issue

After repeatedly calling the executives at the customer service center(Modinagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Delhi) regarding fault in the inverter purchased on 10th April, 2008, no one is giving the satisfactory response. After so many calls to them they have started using abusive language also and said that we can't do anything. No solution has been provided as yet.

PATHETIC QUALITY OF LUMINOUS INVERTER

WE HAD PURCHASED LUMINOUS INVERTER ON 3RD MAY 2008 WHICH COULD NOT PERFORM EVEN FOR COMPLETE ONE MONTH AND STARTED TROUBLING. I THINK INVERTER IS MEANT TO PROVIDE LIGHT WHEN THERE IS NO POWER SUPPLY BUT OUR INVERTER IS CUTTING LIGHTS EVEN WHEN POWER IS THERE.
