[Resolved] Mahanagar Gas — Installation of New Gas Line | |||
This is regarding the new connection which we have applied in the name of Kishori U Mehta. The application was filled in by the agent of Mahanagar Gas in October 2012. A cheque of Rs.6000/- was handed over to him as application fee and it was promised that the connection would be provided to us within 90 days. The mahanagar Gas is already available in other flats in our Society i.e. Vedant Goregaon Ganesh Co-operative Housing Society, Goregaon (W). The cheque was debited in our account in November 2012. Even after more 120 days, no body at Mahanagar Gas is taking the responsibility to respond as to how much time it will take for the connection. We have been harassed by calling on the customer care and every time a new date of installation is given. What is the use of giving a complaint number when it is not to be solved. Such a pathetic service is being given for providing a new connection. It seems that being a Government organisation, the Company is least bother to cater anyone. We have continuous called them on their customer care department and we have also emailed them several email but they are least bother to give a exact date of installation nor ready to escalate the issue. Who are they answerable, why are they answerable, who can question them. I personally feel that they should only come to office on the day of Salary and that too to collect salary. The site doesn't have a escalation matrix, no person has the daring to give their email address. No person is available to give a proper reply. Hail Hitler.... Was this information helpful? | |||

Gas line already available in the building. Landlord NOC submitted in March 2013. Got a confirmation email from [protected]@mahanagargas.com saying "As per the feedback received from the concerned department, would like to inform that your work would be done by 15.07.2013". No one turned up on 15th of July in spite of calling again and again. They just kept saying someone would come by evening.
Today on 16.07.2013 when I call the customer care, they are saying due to rains it will be done in September. (In spite of the fact that it's been quite sunny from last 2-3 days).
This is the level of efficiency at Mahanagar Gas and its really sad. If a concerned person is reading this, my request is to please look at this issue at an Urgent basis.
