very bad and hard suspension cannot even travel.
The car is pulling to the left.
This complaint was there from the first day.

I totally agree with this. My Swift Vxi is 2 years old and has run 39, 000 Kms. The suspension has gone rock hard. It is a pain to drive on bumpy roads. I feel like I'm jumping in all directions while driving my car on Bangalore roads.
My inlaws have a Swift VXI, since they have bought it as their first car, they may not be able to feel its rock hard rear suspension. Even a minor pothole will give a huge back pain. I dont want to compare with Opel Corsa or any other.
mine car has got the same probs... rest all itz gud
the comp has to focus on its front and rear suspension
i felt pain on driving ma car on bumpy roads...
my swift vdi is 8 month old, its back seat journy is un comfortable.atleast good roads, only comforts in rubberised roads

still there is no reply of my complaint this is your too poor service which you are providing to your customers.

please do the needful and change my tyre as early as possible.

    I had booked the Maruti Suzuki Swift VDi car on 1st July 2008 at sai service Station Andheri(E), when I was told that it will be delivered in 3 to 4 weeks time. However I got the delivery after almost 8 weeks though full payment was done and my 1st EMI was almost due. The accessories at the Sai Service are excessively costly and substandard which are been sold under the disguise of genuine Maruti accessories.It was claimed by the salesman that the accessories available in open market are not genuine and they'll not be responsible if I get it from elsewhere. In fact they costs almost 35% to 40% less in the open market. There has been enormous delay in getting the car registered and additional cash was also demanded for clearing it at RTO.

    Swift Vdi — Delay in delivery of swift vdi

    I booked a Maruti Swift Model Vdi colour Silver Grey, from Herculas Automobiles, Trivandrum, Keral in 25/07/ 2007. IT be infromed from Executive that there be delay of one month for delevey of car . But still upto this date i didnt get car.
    Please do needful.
    In case, it is difficult for company to deliver the vehicle, shall I cancel my booking with Maruti dealer and instead opt for some other car like say Hyundi Prime or Cheverlet U VA? Will company care to allot the booked vehicle to me?

      I got Maruti 800 on Sept. 11, 2007. Registration number of the car is UP32-CE 0689. At the time of selling the car KTL Showroom, located at HAL faizabad Road Lucknow promised me to provide 2 free service of tefflon coating under scheme, one at a time of getting the car from showroom and one at the time of third service. The first promise was fulfilled, but when I drew attention to the poor quality of Teflon Coating they told us that due to rush and festival season of Dusshehra and Diwali they will definetly improve the quality of Teflon during third free service. Meanwhile my car met with a minor accident, and I got repaired it from KTL workshop under insurance scheme located at Ismailganj, Lucknow. I got the delivery of the repaired car and drew my attention to the teflon coating after the repair work been carried time. Again I got an assurance from Mr. Bhardwaj the station incharge of workshop that the teflon coating will be done during the third free service.
      On 24th August I received a reminder from the Chinhut Service Centre of KTL for the third service. When I reminded about the teflon coating. I was asked to contact at showroom and meet Mr. Janardan for getting the order for free teflon coating during third free service.
      When I contacted Mr. Janardan he forwarded the matter to Mr. Sanjay Singh, who gave a negative reply that second free teflon coating will not be provided in any case as there is no written agreement between them and Us. Only those thing will be done which is written on paper. When I reminded about the promise. He said that it was all selling funda of the past and they have nothing to do with that sort at present time.
      It was a shock to me, that the company representative was talking like that. I preferred, not to talk or argue with them and preferred to withdraw myself from further representation at the centre.
      So is this the attitude they have shown towards the customer. Really a very horrible experience with these dealer who adopt all false selling tactics to grab the customer and sale

      Maruti 800 std — Extreemly Poor Sevice

      Dear Sir,
      This complain is rgarding the extrimlly poor and pathetic service from one of you authorized service center known as a "Hindustan Auto Agencey " situted at bokaro steel city (Jharkhand).

      This is regret to inform you that i have not seen that kind of poor service at any station, i went there on 17/10/07 (10:30 am)to repaire some noise problem from engine , than i have been asked to change the Clutche plate , than Break shoe , than some others small parts at only 14000 KM.at town area.

      I asked the service centre to please do it in a good manner because next morrning i have rush out for 400 KM with this car.
      when i got my car back from the service centre at 7:00 PM after paying Rs.2475/- , i thought it is now ok , and i can go with it for next 400 KM. onwards , but next morrning in my way i find the same noise and some more problem in my car.Than what i have done in the way that you can immagine if you can.

      So request you to please improve your QA of your authourized sevices agencies , and take some action against the above complain. I informed the above things to the same service centre , but no possitive responce i got from there , and now they are saying that "After relasing the car from our service centre we are not responsible for any thing".

      So please do something to save your brand immage.

      Maruti 800 std — dissatisfaction of service

      my maruti 800 std model nov 1999 had a problem of front axcel left side assembly. first time it came in knowledge in june 2008 and it was replaced by authorised dealer vipul motors, jaipur
      again this problem faced in last few days, on checking of this at the same center, again it was adviced to replace again. this costly item is not possible to replce for me in a short period and running of only 12000 kms
      the delaer has refused to replce this in warrenty period

      I have contract to your [protected] the reply is not satisfactory by you; again I requst to you pl. take up the matter on priority oherwise I will go in consumer court on your cost.

        I am an NRI and 3 months back I booked for Maruti Swift Dzire Vdi silky silver on my fathers name, going by the dealer’s (AVG motors –Thiruvalla) commitment of maximum three months after paying an advance of INR 50, 000. Now when approached they expect this to take 3 more months. Is this normal with Maruti (COUNT ON US), or is the dealer’s role questionable. The company’s website says “one million promises”, the company should be serious about its commitment with customers and fulfill its promises. Why is Maruti not making this clear as to when they can deliver, or if they can’t do it why do they take bookings along with advance?

        There is nobody from the company whom you can contact.
        similar problems are experienced by me in new bombay, i'd booked on may 28th for dzire vxi & was to get deleivry on oct 9th they'd promised me that u'll get ur car well before that (color: grey) but as of today (2nd oct) they told "sorry, we require more time on this, may be u'll get in diwali" but when i said that "i've lost confidence on u & want my money back 50k+ interest @ 12.5% for 4 months.
        this is really horrible for leading car makers in india. why do they tell the deleivery period when they're not aware thenselves?
        I have booked swift dezire vxi golden beige colour at ROHAN MOTORS, DELHI ON 19.12.2008.I have paid full Ex showroom cost of car.They promised me to give the car upto end of January or first week of February. Till date they didnt give the delivery of car and didnt give responsible answer and also gave mental disturbance .So I request you to take the immediate action for me to get the vechile THANKS RAJIV GOEL

        I am also a customer who has the same experience with AVG, they manupulate the delivery to get margin money using customer booking money.
        Please understand AVG can give a delivery to the customer next day itself by not fullfilling the commitment to a customer whos delivery is due.

          I am an owner of Maruti SX4 which has a problem of it's gear box getting jammed again and again . On my first complaint the clutch was replaced but the problem still persists and i am in no mood to carry on with this car which is a year old with run of 7500 Kms and i wish to have email id of Mr. Pankaj Narula, Chief GM ( Service ) so that i can update my issue.

            Hi,

            I bought Maruti Swift 2008 model from Sai Service, Edapally. It was very much friendly atmosphere till the delivery of the vehicle. When they gave me RC book, it had a mistake (model is written as 2007). I asked for clarification. Then i was told to wait till May. Then on May I was told to handover the orginal RC book to the guy who was there during the delivery of the car. I handed over it to him and i was told that it will be done soon. Everytime when I calls them I get a reply saying it is with RTO and there is big delay from their part. Now after in AUg end, they are saying, they cant do it hence customer has to go and do all things. I have maruti alto from another dealer ( Popular ) but I never experienced any issue from them. Now i regret for taking car from Sai due to these kind of bad service.

            Sub : Complaint of “MARUTI SWIFT VDI”

            Ref : Engine No.1153301 Chassis No. 379212
            Colour - Pearl Arts.

            Kindly refer the above. We introduce our self, we ie; Archana Industries, Kottayam are one of the dealer of “CUMMINS” India Ltd., & “BIRLA POWER Solutions” in Kerala. We are dealing smaller ratings of all kinds generating sets & are also doing services after sales.

            On 19/11/2008 one of our partner named Mr.G.Satheesh bought one “ MARUTI SWIFT VDI ” (Diesel) Motor Car from Maruti’s dealer M/s. Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd., Kottayam [Invoice No.53395KRDCD9 dtd.19/11/2008]. Actually the vehicle is in warranty, but vehicle shows minor complaints right now it’s “A/c” is not working. Still the vehicle runs only 12, 545Kms., till date we follows company norms & as per company norms we are doing it’s services at the right time ie; changing it’s engine oil three times & also doing services 1st service at 1000Kms, 2nd service at 5000Kms & 3rd service at 10, 000Kms. Before buy the “SWIFT” car we are using an “TATA Motor’s Indica” car, but till the last sales which can not shows any complaint. In our experiment we compare “MARUTI SWIFT” with “TATA INDICA”, “Indica” is much better than “Swift”. So, how can we refer any other customer for buying “MARUTI SWIFT”.

            Since 19th April, 2009 we found that our vehicle ie; Maruti Swift Air Conditioner is not working. After find out the said complaint we have approach ‘Maruti’s’ authorized service dealer ie; M/s.Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd., Kottayam, on 20/041/2009 for rectifying the said complaint. But till date they can not detect the complaint or rectify the same. For the past couple of days we are waiting for their response. If we inquire the current status of the said vehicle ‘Maruti’s’ authorized service officials say’s that tomorrow/day after tomorrow will rectify the said complaint. We inform the matter directly to the service manager & he say’s that at least ten to fifteen day’s for rectifying the same complaint. We buy the vehicle for our official/personal use not for popular show room purpose. In this circumstance we don’t like to corporate with you.

            Hope you will take the matter seriously & expecting your earlier & valuable action.

            I had faced similar situation and once I was caught during the routing checkup without RC, since my problem was genuine I was let off & adviced by Cops to tell dealer to fix it else get an FIR logged against them to safe guard your self. I spoke to the deaker warning them if they do not fix the mess created by them then would take it legally & this worked.

              I have purchased my car in october 2006.
              Before some months steering of my car was jammed and i had been put under survices in J K motors, but i am said that its remain hard. i request you sir please check it out n visit my car once, if you dont find steering hard like truck i will take responsibility of complain .

                the story goes like this

                spell mistake will be there ignore it please


                in march we took info about the model swift desire lxi from rana motors tees hazari.
                sanjay sriwastva was the person . he started calling us every 3rd day and tried his best to get our booking.at last we visited the showroomand booked the car on 13th april 08. swift desire lxi. they got a paper signed by us that the showroom will take a max of 3 to 4 months to deliver the car. they dint handed over the paper to us we had the booking slip( u have it scanned).

                on 22nd june(sunday) rekha from rana moters called us and said that your car is comming in 2 days and plz get the draft prepared and we will handover the car to you on 24th or 25th june. we againg called up on 26 june to inquire, she said ki it was a mistake and wit will be delivered by next week.

                since then we have been told that car will be delivered next week we called up. we were made sure if there is no info you will be called back and informed.but no call came from show room since 22 june .

                after 1 month rekha called us and said that she is not dealing with our matter and it has been given to manish( team leader). he never called us to inform the status. we used to call every 2nd day but no satisfactory resp was given to us.

                we were later told that compony has stopped produstion of lxi model as demand is low. we asked them to confirm our car as its 3 months on 13 july.

                No one from the showrrom called us in the process and never informed us about the status . we were the only people to call showroom every 2nd day and ask the status .

                on 27th july we had a word with gm of rana moters(Mr Mishra) and he assured us that car will be delivered to us in 1st week of august. but no car and call was given to us .

                9th aug we called manish to give us in writing that there is no produstion in the co for lxi model. he trickfully changed his statement and said that production is slow. he denied us that he will not give us anything in writing.

                on 13th aug it will be 4 months which was agreed by showroom and signed on paper ( the paper is with them in the booking file)

                I booked a maruti Swift Dzire Vxi on 30th march2008 with Competent Automobiles Lajpat Nagar New Delhi and made full payment of the vehicle by 11th april yet the vehicle has not been delivered to me inspite of the assurance at the time of bookingthat the car shall be delivered to me as soon as the full payment is credited to the accont of the dealer.i have also tried to evince a reply from maruti office at new delhi but no proper reply has been recd so far
                I have purchase the old car from your true value outlet of tannu motors palanpur gujarat but after some time my ac condensor was brake when i talk with workshop over there the all staff told me that there is one clamp just before the condensor who is supported the bumper of your car is not present over there and the bumper is free from that clamp and the corner of that clamp is touches the condensor and your condensor is broken, i am agreed and change that condensor and at that time i told that solve that clamp problem otherwise that clamp is again damage my condensor, at that time they given me the satisfaction that we repair your clamp and change the condensor but they did not fix that clamp and change my condensor and that clamp is again damage my condensor within 4 days... this is the mistake of tannu motors workshop. but they dont give me a proper answer and Riddiculus beheviour with me and told me to change the condensor again and re pay the money so this is not fare

                  Despite of regular in touch from the M/s Vipul motor the Complain lodged in August 2007 regarding the seat problem cited at subject has not been attended/ repaired. This complain was processed by Mr Deenanath one of the Employee at M/s Vipul Mortor. I have been replied most of the time that your complain is transfered to service division they will look in to the matter. After a long time of one year I could not get the favourable and reasonable reply. So seat of my Car could not get repaired. I have purchased the car on 21 th of December 2006 with proper insurance and Extended body warranty. I have always visit only Authorised Service station for service and repaire works. As this complain is lodged only in August of 2007 so it should be treted as problem before this time. Detail of this Problem may be well said by Mr Deenanath.
                  My request is please look in the matter and short the problem Since you produce more than 4000perb year of even newly launched Car but here you have taken 1 year for repair a seat of a car.

                    Sir,
                    I Dr Mrigesh Chaudhary resident of II/413 Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology had purchased a Maruti Swift VXi (UA06 F 7669) in the name of my wife Dr. (Mrs.) Meena Mrigesh. We were a very proud and highly satisfied owner of our vehicle, it had been our prized possession, apple of our eye till a few days back when we decided to get it serviced and accidental repair (The doors were scratched and the front bumper had to be changed) at your dealership M/s Akanksha Automobiles, Rudrapur. In fact we were so happy and satisfied with your product that we always recommended Maruti Suzuki to our friends. In the last 2 years since we purchased our vehicle we have been instrumental in convincing four of our friends to go for Maruti (2 Swifts, 1 Wagon R and 1 Alto).

                    To give you a brief outline of my grievances first let me give the chronology of events that led me to write to you.

                    Chronology Of Events:-

                    I left my Swift (UA06 F 7669) for servicing and accidental repair on June 12, 08 at M/s Akanksha Automobiles Rudrapur. The delivery date was 16.06.08 but the vehicle was not ready till the evening of 16th and I was asked to come next day but again the vehicle was not ready till the evening of 17th, then again I went to collect my vehicle on 19th evening but to my dismay whatever I had asked for in the service was not taken care of, and the finishing of the paint job was very rough even the bidding of the windows were not fixed. And they wanted to deliver the vehicle to me saying everything is fine and OK. On my protesting that neither the service nor body shop work is proper they asked me to come later but since I had to go outstation with my family so I received the vehicle with pending works at around 7.30 pm. Mr. Abhishek Yadav, Works Manager was present who assured me that he will get the things done once I bring the vehicle back.
                    Since I had given the vehicle both for servicing and accidental repair what really happened is that the service people changed the oil, oil filter and checked the horn which was causing problem and passed the vehicle to the body shop, as rest whatever I got written in the job card and whatever I had told the person who attended me (as the person had not written all the problems in the job card saying that these things will get normally checked in service) was not taken care of. The standard of service can be understood by the fact that at around 7.15 pm when they were delivering the vehicle saying that the work is complete one of the brake lights was fused, which when, I pointed out was changed by Mr. Govind a person from body shop as people from workshop had already left.
                    Thereafter Mr. Ratnesh and Mr. Bhuvnesh of Customer Care Department Akanksha Automobiles came to me for feedback. I showed them the vehicle and they agreed that neither the service nor the body shop work was satisfactory and they suggested that I attend the customer meet. I attended the customer meet where I asked the available officials to see my vehicle on the spot but I regret to say that on several requests only Abhishek Yadav Works Manager inspected my vehicle and asked me to make a list of problems which he handed over to Ms Nirmala Joshi (CCM). While others were not at all interested, it was more like a party for them with refreshments and an opportunity to offer people to act as their agents in lieu of Rs 1000 commission. If this is what the customer meet is I fail to understand the logic behind holding one. They should be open for criticism also. Everything is not always rosy. That day they took the vehicle and did wheel alignment and suggested me to leave the vehicle later after 20th of July as some filter in the paint shop was to be changed by then.
                    Again I left my vehicle on 25th of July for sorting out the previous problems and getting the front passenger doors’ scratches removed under accidental repair This time Mr. Abhishek Yadav himself inspected the vehicle and made a list of problems and handed this new list again to Ms Nirmala Joshi (CCM). I asked Ms. Nirmala to tag both the previous and the new list to the job chart. Mr. Abhishek Yadav (WM) assured me that he personally will take care to see that all the problems are sorted out and will check all the points before delivery. He further said that he would personally deliver the vehicle at my residence, to which I readily agreed and assured him that I will drop him back. This time the vehicle was scheduled to be delivered on 28th of July but the vehicle was sent by Mr Abhishek to my residence on 31st of July, without inspecting, with The Customer Care Executives Mr. Ratnesh and Mr. Bhuvnesh. Which on inspecting I refused to accept as again the work was very unprofessional. There were blobs of paint, the paint was grainy not properly rubbed, the doors were not adjusted, and the complaints which I had given in writing were not rectified. The facts were shown to both the Customer Care Executives on the spot.
                    During the whole episode I was continuously being told that this problem is of body shop and that is of service. My argument is that the customer is not concerned with internal problems. Only one person who is capable of interacting with both the departments and is responsible for both the departments should handle the customer. The customer is not required to run from one department to other. On asking whom to talk to and who the boss is of both the departments I was told that some Mr. Agarwal is the General Manager and I can contact him. But on asking his contact no. I was told that his no. can not be divulged without permission. Well, if the person can’t be contacted by an aggrieved customer what is the justification of his post?
                    The most horrifying thing was that the rear seat had been damaged when the vehicle came for delivery on 31st of July. Somebody had deliberately stabbed the seat and cut the cloth and the foam through and through! This also was brought to the notice of the Customer Care Executives at the spot, and conveyed to Mr. Abhishek over phone. I refused to accept the vehicle and returned the vehicle with a written complaint to GM Akanksha Automobiles. I had categorically written that, ” I refuse to accept the vehicle, till the problems are rectified and the damaged seat is changed. To damage a customer’s car, if a complaint is lodged, against negligence of duty is not acceptable at any cost.
                    On Saturday 2nd August I rang up Mr Abhishek to enquire about the status of my car he told me that they are trying to obtain the foam and the cloth from open market. When I asked him why not genuine? He told me that the seats are not supplied by Maruti and are obtained from open market only. On asking him that can he give me this in writing he declined. I told him specifically that I want only original seat. To which he replied that he will talk about it to the GM. I was highly surprised when today (4th August) Ms. Geeta (CCM?) called me up and told me that they have purchased a new seat cover from open market and the car is ready for delivery and that the seat cant be changed.
                    Till date the car has been with Akanksha for 19 days! They keep on giving dates which they never intend to honour. On 25th when I left the vehicle Mr. Tripathi of Body shop told me verbally to expect the vehicle on Wednesday but when I received the job card there the delivery date was mentioned 28th of July ( Same thing happened with me before). I would like to ask that when they know that they can’t deliver on a given date then why they give it in writing? Is it to fool Maruti which keeps a track on the expected date of delivery, but not the real date of delivery? My humble request to you is that please keep a track on the real date of delivery and the cause of delay also! Further they have damaged it! I have lost all faith in Akanksha. Since the vehicle is with them for so many days and they are showing their angst by damaging my vehicle, I request you, to kindly get it inspected by Maruti Official before delivery. So that I am sure that they have done no further damage by replacing something in my car. I feel that I could do a better paint job with a brush then what your so called climate controlled paint shop is doing. FURTHER ON INSPECTING MY CAR YOU WILL BE ABLE TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE CARELESS AND NEGLIGENT ATTITUDE OF YOUR OUTLET which is bringing disgrace to a company of such repute and Stature!
                    I HOPE THAT MY GREIVANCES ARE TAKEN CARE OF AND A MARUTI PERSONNEL INSPECT THE VEHICLE TO VERIFY THE STANDARD OF SERVICES AND PRACTICES BEING FOLLOWED AT AKANKSHA AUTOMOBILES RUDRAPUR. All my grievances are there in writing, but nobody at Akanksha seems to take any notice. You will agree that it is highly inconvenient to leave a vehicle for such a long time.

                    It feels very astonishing when in daily newspaper you see that car prices being slashed & you found non-availability of the same at not only in 1 showroom of Delhi but many i.e., Rana Motors, Saya & T.R.Sawhney for last 7 days.

                    I don't want to get into much detail but only want to get my query answered by any responsible MUL spokesperson Is that the true story? or some thing is fishy...

                    Moreover if you have non-availibility of the model than why are you entertaining the queries of the customer. Further Why are you not putting a notice right at the front of the showroom that Maruti Wagon R will not be available upto bla bla date...

                      R/sir,
                      I 've booked a car model name MARUTI SWIFT DEZIRE on 08/04/2008 in swani motors and i've paid a cheque of Rs.64680/= to SWANI MOTORS having cheque no.700154 o[censored]nion bank of india from a/c no.[protected] on the name of M/s VEE KAY ENGINEERS.The tottal amount includes Rs11780=00 of 1st EMI and Rs.500=00 of temporary no. and Rs.2400=00 of processing fees and Rs.50000=00 of booking amount of the car having reciepts no.92, 93, 91&19 of M/s SWANI MOTORS PVT. LTD. LUDHIANA.They booked my car on the promise of delievery within 5-6 weeks as per written in their reciept.But they are unable to deliever the car till now after 15 weeks.I've sold my old car i.e. fiat uno on the behalf of their promiseto deliever car within 5-6 weeks.But right now i dont have any conveyance to travel which is affecting my business adversely.i am suffering both physical and mentally harrassment along with losses in my business due to non availability of conveyance.
                      I've made several mistakes on helpline no.of M/s MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LTD. to their executives Mr.VINOD KUMAR on 18/06/2008 having complaint bno.693071 and another complaint to Miss NEHA on20/06/2008 having complaint no.696751 and another complaint to Mr. JATINDER having complaint no.701611 on 23/06/2008 in which all these executives promised to deliever car within 1 to days in which they failedb to fullfill their commitments.we also have sent several e mails to M/s MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LTD.But their was no response from their side.
                      After that we contacted the area sales manager of M/S MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LTD. for the delievery of car but the result was same.he promised us several times that he will deliver car within 1-2 days but there was no response from his side.
                      Besides this physical and mental threat we also suffered the increase in ex showroom price of the car of Rs.18000/= i.e the basic rate difference between the price of car at the time of booking and till now.
                      During this hactic period ICICI BANK who was sanctioning loan against my car has refused to sanction my loan as they said their is a long time gap between the booking and delievery of the car so as their is a difference in the rate of interest between this period.As i've earlier said that i've paid Rs.2400/= as processing fees of my loan case and Rs.11780/= as 1st EMI of car loan case in which the ICICI bank is refusing to pay back my processing fees of Rs.2400/= as they said that it is M/s SWANI MOTORS PVT. LTD. fault that they dont have delievered your car within time.
                      So sir i kindly and hopefully request you to pay attention on this matter and help me to come out of this trauma and help me so i can get fixed to my earlier routine and run my business smoothly

                        I purchased a Maruti Baleno car in October 2005. Since then the clutch has been a problem area with the following issues at different points of time (some concurrently): (a) Judder at the time of engaging the cluch in the first gear; (b) poor clutch gripping, pick-up. Despite several attempts by two Maruti Authorised Dealers and clutch assembly changes several times, the problem remains unresolved.

                          Maruti Udyog Limited/Alto — Payment of Bill

                          Ref: Car Model – Alto LX, No. WB02U5661, Chassis No.563640

                          Dear Sir,

                          I was facing some problem while driving the above car, so the car has been sent for servicing to your work shop at 21/1A/2, Darga Road, Park Circus, Kolkata – 700017 on 4th July 2008. Your person, Mr. Amit Adhikary, informed my driver that it would be delivered on 7th July 2008. On 7th, when my driver went to your work shop, he had been informed that the car was not ready for delivery but your person did not informed the same. However, it has not delivered on time.

                          Today morning one lady from your work shop has informed me that the car is ready for delivery and the bill amount is Rs.5, 743/-. Accordingly I have sent my driver alongwith a cheque for the aforesaid bill amount to take delivery of the car. When my driver reaches there and gives the cheque, Mr. Adhikary has told him that the cheque is not acceptable. Then I personally spoke to Mr. Adhikary regarding the same, he told me that it is already written in the job card. I am not denying the fact that it is not written, it may be written but I have never seen and it is also not possible to read all the sentences written there. But I have gone through your Tax Invoice i.e. Job Card Retail Cash Memo issued in my favour on 30/6/2007 and it is not written that cheque is not acceptable. However, while your person has informed me for taking delivery of the car and while received the car for servicing, he should inform me or my person regarding the mode of payment. Apart from this why I will send cash with my driver/person because there may be a chance of pick pocketing or lose. In case it is happened will you be responsible for that. But in case my cheque is bounced, you can take legal action against me.

                          Because of fact as state above, my driver came back from your work shop without taking delivery of the car and it is also not possible for me to send him again with cash. Therefore, in this circumstance, I would request you to send my car through your person alongwith the bill to my residence at 70C, S. N. Chatterjee Road, Kolkata – 700 034 and the person will collect bill amount in cash from me. I would appreciate if you could take proper step to delivery my car at the earliest and to improve your customer service which is in present very much essential to strengthen future growth of a service organisation like you.

                          The Power stearing feature and auto brake failure feature in ALTO LXI or in other cars) is becomes very dangerious when the car is going downward in slope and sudden either power missing or the petrol finished in car.

                            I am having a 2006 dec Swift petrol car.From 9 months before started a steering rattling sound and the whole unit was changed and the complaint still in effect and now started a rattling sound from the rear part and engine sound is increasing day by day.I had given my car for servicing in Indus Motors Tvm, Kerala and I had noticed them these complaints, but nothing has been solved.Kindly do the needful

                              Hi,

                              I Purchased Zen Estillo on 16thJuly 2008 from Bagga Link, Patparganj. The time when i purchased the car it revealed me the meter reading of 59Kms. The day when I took the delivery it started creating problem from that very day.I started the AC for just 10 Minutes and the engine was overheated for next 2 hours. I told this to the agent Yogender (Bagga Link Agent) but I didn't get proper response from their side.

                              On 20th July when i took out the car i faced a severe problem. After driving only 2Kms the engine started overheating and smoke came from the Bonut. I immediately gave a call to agency for help but was told to come there only as there is no one in agency to see me. And when i took it to agency I was given the feedback that the clutch plates are destroyed and they straight away asked me for Rs. 5000/- to get it repaired. My Vehicle that time showed me the reading of 67Kms only.

                              I know that it is not actually a fault from my side. It is either the manufacturing defect from Maruti or they have given me the used clutch plates. Otherwise why didn't they took any action when i complaint on the very first day about overheating of car. This is my worst experice with Bagga Link and Maruti.

                              Initially I thought of purchasing Santro Car.But due to the name and fame of Maruti I go for that. Therefore I request Maruti to consider my matter and provide me with the justice, otherwise i am looking forward to take the help of India TV and Aaj Tak to let the people know how Maruti Dealers are cheating public.

                                I am sorry to inform you that the quality of workmanship of your authorized service center M/s Spectra Motors -Malad, Mumbai is very poor.I have a Maruti 800 car purchased in October 2003 and have taken all precaution, carried out all services as per advice from service advisor of Spectra Motors.I have also carried out Anti Rust Treatment (with 5 years Warranty)as suggested by Spectra to avoid any corrosion /rusting of any metal parts of the car.Last week I noticed corrosion of the paint on the bottom edge of the left end side front door, this is the same door which was repainted by Spectra for accident repair some 18 months ago.Yester when I met Mr.Noel, Worshop manager, He told me that either, I have to replace the door or repaint the same and Anti Rust treatment is only meant for bottom body of the car which was contradacting the assurance provided by their service advisor four years ago.In fact they had done the treatment of all the doors and i get the same regualarly checked every six months with my service.As per the warranty of Anti Rust Treatment, They are suppouse to replace any part which are affected after applying this treatment.I am failing to understand how only the door which was repainted is rusted and how come Spectra can just wash off their hands from this.I request you to look into this.My car registration Number is MH - 02 NA 4619.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I had some what similar experience with Maruti's dealer - M/S Ratan Motors at Govandi in Mumbai. I had Maruti Zen car. Ratan Motors spoiled the anti-cop device while repairing the door (all four motors on four doors) and I was sent from pillars to post to get the isue addressed. Finaly i had to shell out good amount for puting it back. On second incedent, while I surrendered my car for servicing as it was perfectaly all right, I was informed by Ratan motors that Fuel pump had developed defect and car can not be driven out without replacing it??

                                Dealers study the car repairs history and try to make fast buck by fooling the unsuspecting customers. One needs to be alter and carefull with the guys.

                                Yes I agree, the service centre in Malad is working in very poor manner, I have been a big admirer of Maruti cars the main reason was there sheer service. but now the thing are changing. In today's market with many new companies in market .. and maruti system has become like Government employee ..
                                My wife also have been cheated by the spectra malad service rep. all complaints has gone in vain .

Of late they have become very irresponsible nad casuyal in their attitude wgich required to be corrected failing which it will bring a bad name not only to them but also MARUTI.recently I have given my Baleno car for some repair work and mailly there was leakager problem plus some worik related to insurance claim on Aug 14, 2010 nad it was given to me after two weeks on Auf 26, 2010 . The bill was around rs.26000/- and car was given after two weeks without attending the leakage problem and I was told the problem was attended. The car was filled with water on the same night and I have to give the car on very next day fior trhe same complaint. It was again ciollected after 3 days butv he it ewas noticed the rubber bidding where new glass was fitted was not done properly and the electronioc key for central locking not working. I took the car back on the same day but I was told rubber bidding was not available and nippon person will come and attend to the central locking key problem. i ma calling every day but no one came.

                                  I had purchase maruti alto DD motors on 9th May 2008. I was told that I will receive my autocard with in 45 days.
                                  But still I didn't receive any card from their side.
                                  Today I was told that my application is not accepted due to some reason.

                                  THis is the service provided by the maruti to their client .

                                    Contrary to our high expectations from Maruti Udyog Ltd., the treatment we have received from you and your associates has been appalling. We purchased on April 9, 2007, a vehicle of type Swift/Diesel/VDI of colour B. Red with Chassis No.: 222289, Engine No.: 1006035, License plate WB 02 X 5702, from your authorized dealer Mohan Motor Udyog. The car was handed over for repairs to Mohan Motor Udyog on date 23/7/2007. This workshop is situated in an area without proper roads where even perfect cars would be damaged. I fail to understand why an auto workshop should be allowed in this area by Maruti. After facing several delays and going through a lot of harassment over a period of about 6 months, we were finally told by their technicians – Feroze and the workshop manager, Biplab Roy, that the car was ready. They had raised a very high bill of Rs. 93137/-. At the workshop, we found that the car had not been repaired completely and there was a sound from the injector. We were finally able to pick up the car a week later, the week of 21st January, 2008.

                                    On July 6, 2008, the car got overheated and the coolant tank became empty just a day after refilling. We sent the car to Mohan Motor Udyog for repairs. On being informed by Mohan Motor that the car was ready to be picked up, our representative went to pick up the car on July 16, 2008, but found that the car is not taking start, and releasing a lot of smoke. The car is not in driving condition. Instead of fixing the problem, Mohan Motor had done servicing of the car. Overall, Mohan Motor has been highly negligent and given very poor customer service, and a bad name to your group.

                                    Such quality of service is highly unexpected, especially from a reputed company like Maruti. Our group of companies has favoured Maruti cars since its beginning but with these developments, we have lost total confidence.

                                    Compelled by your actions, we are pursuing this case in Consumer Court and other forums.

We purchased, a vehicle of type Esteem VXI of colour Black with License plate WB 02 W 0248, from your authorized dealer Mohan Motor Udyog.
                                    The car was from the very begening was giving trouble and the same was handed over for rung and repairs to Mohan Motor Udyog on date 10/10/2008.
                                    In fact we have four numbers of other MARUTI cars of differrent make/ model purchased from Mohan Motors Udyog, which are serviced at this workshop. And we are sorry to say that this workshop is situated in an area without proper roads and connectivity to reach. Even going by cars would be risky. We fail to understand why an auto workshop should be allowed in this area by Maruti.
                                    After facing several delays on one or the other pretext by the Works Manager, and going through a lot of harassment over a period of 20days, we were finally told by the technicians (Mr Singh) and the workshop manager, that the car was ready. On reaching the workshop on 1st November 2008, we found that the colour of the car is differrent from what we advised, moreover there were plenty of jobs / repairs which were pending. After waiting for long 4 hours, we were told by the manager that we need to come some other day to take our vehicle and that they will not change the colour also, because they are liking the colour of the car.
                                    With distress and after wasting 4 hrs of valuable time, our official left the workshop.

                                    Mohan Motor has been highly negligent and given very poor customer service, and a bad name to the Maruti Group. Such quality of service is highly unexpected, especially from a reputed company like Maruti.
                                    Our group of companies and associated organisations has favoured Maruti cars since its beginning but with these developments, we have lost total confidence.

                                    We request you to kindly intervene the matter to avoid any further complications.

I have purchased a vehicle of type Maruti Alto LX on 30th November’ 2008 of colour Pearl Silver with Chassis No.: 1223146, Engine No.: 3561093, Registration No. WB 24 K 2943, from your authorized dealer Mohan Motor Udyog. I met an accident with my car on 06.06.09; the car got damaged at left front position.

                                    The car handed over to Maruti authorize service centre Mohan Motor Udyog, Kolkata on the same day. As per the Insurance (Bajaj), they gave clearance for the repairing work on 9th June’09. I have tried several occasions to contact the authorize representative Mr. Rajinder Singh of Mohan Motor Udyog Kolkata but in vain. He never showed gesture to lift the phone call.

                                    Finally I had to go through via media to know the status of my car which was handed over to the said agency and could know that they will take another 10 days time(altogether it is more than 3 weeks time) to handover me the car even though it was a matter of a week job. It appears to me as a trouble which M/s Mohan Motor is creating with motivated way as I will have to pay the EMI without enjoying the car for June-09. I believe, somehow it is not matching with the reputation of your esteem organization.
                                    In view of above, the matter is being put forwarded to you for a fruitful outcome and with a hope that the EMI for the said month with be paid by M/s Maruti Udyog Ltd.

                                    You early action on the issue is highly appreciated.

                                    I had bought an A-Star recently (WB 06A 3630) and just after 7months the brakes have packed up, i had sent it to Mohan Motors in Kolkata, they made it look like they have domne the job but they did nothing i.e. they did not change the master cylinder.

                                      I wish to inform you that I have purchased Maruti Zen Estilo vxi on June 21st 2009
                                      The car was working well for one months.

                                      Still now I not received my RC Book. I left the car for first service on 3rd week of july at ABT branch, Then second service in INDUS Motor – Kattupakkam.

                                      It started giving problem during the second month of August 2009. The Car got puncher while driving in high ways & again it got within one week. While giving for puncher the service fellow has told the tyre has to change it got bubbles in three places.

                                      In Second service I was very upset with the maruti service then taken the petrol as well as their no reply from the service person for the problem I’m facing (Tyre in bubbles)

                                      We had a great fight with INDUS PEOPLE AND I SPOKEN TO THE SO MANY PERSON STILL NOW I’M NOT GETTING ANY REPLY.

                                      SINCE THE CAR IS UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD, I gave the CAR for SERVICE ON 18/08/2009. They took the caR after regular check up for warranty and accepted the same

                                      After a gap of ONE WEEK I enquired about my car TYRE for its readiness. They informed me they will check it out but still now no reply.

                                      Since first week of June 2009, I am making frequent calls to INDUS about my cat. Till today (27.8.2009), they are not giving any proper reply about the readiness of the Car tyre.

                                      Finally when I enquired on 26.8.2009 about the Car, they will get back to us within 10 minutes.

                                      This kind of dillydallying is happening for the past couple of weeks.

                                      In these circumstances, I do not know whom to enquire about my Car tyre – Either you or INDUS.

                                      If this kind of reply is given to me for the repair of my car, which is under warranty when I gave it for repair, I have no alternative remedy except to approach the appropriate consumer forum for redressal of my grievance, in which case yourself and Indus will be held responsible for all the cost and consequences.

                                      I request that I may be given a reply about the position of my immediately, since 2 weeks have already elapsed.

                                        I booked Dzire on 09th April in Cochin, and I was promised delivery in a month, now its 3 months already, and still I have no clue, when the car will be delivered, or will it be ever? I mean, I have written numerous mails to the customer service, called them up, talked with the dealer and what not. And nobody is better than a wet bird.

                                        I have been reading the number of complaints regarding the delivery of Maruti Dzire, and I believe there are more people complaining about Dzire than the actual number of customers.
                                        I really have no clue, how this can happen to the biggest car company in the county, who have won so many accolades. Or maybe this is just the beginning of the end.
                                        I have lost all hope on Maruti.

                                        I booked Dzire on 09th April in Cochin, and I was promised delivery in a month, now its 3 months already, and still I have no clue, when the car will be delivered, or will it be ever? I mean, I have written numerous mails to the customer service, called them up, talked with the dealer and what not. And nobody is better than a wet bird.

                                        I had booked SWIFT DEZIRE VDI car on 10th may 2008 more than seven months back at SITARAM MOTORS TUDA ROAD, PERINGAVU, TRICHUR, KERALA .As the dealer assured the car to be delievered with in three months.Till now dealer is not sure about the delievery, they do not respond properly.They make the fool with us and we didn't receive any interest which Maruti provided.So please respond me what should i do to get my car as soon as possible.

                                        I had booked SWIFT DEZIRE VXI car on 5th Dec 2008.(Mandovi maruthi dealers, Mysore) .As the dealers executive assured the car to be delievered with in five months.i.e. Apr'09 .I had given 50, 000 Rs advance.Again asked in jan'09 ist week, they do not respond properly they are unable to tell the exact delivery date.After heavy fed up with dealers response i took back my advance on 12th jan'09.I thought to take the car in other towns.But i had seen this web site i shocked about the position of maruthi dealers.
                                        i have booked car dzire VDi in the month of feb 09 but till date i did not get the car from BERKLEY AUTOMOBILES PANCHKULA

                                        I had booked SWIFT DZIRE VXI during June 2009. I was informed by Maruti that the car has been dispatched from maruti and would be delivered to me by the dealer Varun Motors at hyderabad on 19th August, 2009. On my regular follow ups, i was informed that the car is on its way. However, i was informed on 7th September, 2009, that the Car has been sold by the dealer to another customer who had paid a premium.

                                        I approached another branch of varun Motors aty Hyderabad for the same car and was informed that there is a waiting period of 3 months. when i insisted on getting the car early, the dealer informed me that i could get the car in a week if i was willing to spend a premium of Rs 50, 000.

                                        I donot understand that how come maruti is tolerating such corrupt practices by its dealer and allowing them to be their representative.

At the time of booking the showroom executive told that you will get your delivery on the duseera but now they are saying that your car has not came uptill now from factory and delying the delivery...so plz tell me that when we will get our delivery the booking is placed by the name Mr.Chandrakant Ragho Gaikwad

                                        25/10/09 THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN DELIVERY AND MORE EVER THEY ARE ASKING 6 MORE
                                        WEEKS TO DELIVER THE CAR, HOW CAN PEOPLE PUT TRUST IN INDIAS LEADING COMPENY

                                        Poor Reponse for Policy renewal

                                        My Car Policy is getting expired on 19th March 2015. For the same I contacted to the Dealer My Car Pune but I got very poor response from their end.
