[Resolved]  MCD Najafgarh Zone — Bad Condition of Roads

The Drains of Lokesh Park Colony beside DTC terminal Najaf Garh are filled with earth, building material and GAR. The earth and building material was used to check water for carrying out the repair work about a month back. Due to blockage of drains, the dirty water is stagnating and over flowing on the roads. Waste material with GAR and dirty water is collected and lying here and there which is promoting breeding of mosquitoes to create health hazard for the Colony people especially at the time when DENGUE has registered its presence.

Drains are not being cleaned for a month. No Safai Karamchari is seen at work. The working style of Safai Karamcharies is also not proper. If at all they appear, they work to their convenience. They take out the dirt and GAR from the Drain and leave it alongside at every step. They do not mind leaving it in front of some body’s door with foul smell. If you tell them to collect it at a place they begin to insult and quarrel. Apart from this the dirt so left is not removed for days together till it is not scattered all around with running cars, Motorbikes and Bikes. Thus instead of cleaning work they are creating more unhygienic situation.

Would you please look into for remedial action for proper cleanliness and safe hygienic condition?

Dear Sir,

I am residing at New Roshan pura Extn. Near Ration Card Office, Gali No. 1, Najafgarh, the condition of our street is really very bad and In spite of my repeated reminder to the Councellor of our zone, no action has been taken so far . While central govt. is doing best effort to develop the road and street of Delhi upto the world class level.

You are there fore requested to pl. take quick and strong action in this regard.
