[Resolved]  MetLife — Short Term Disability

Metlife india is pathetic. I have two policies. Paid my premium due amount on 30th Nov 2007. Today it is 26th Dec 2007. Inspite of several calls to the customer care ( [protected]@metlife.com) there is no update.

I called up the customer care 5 times. They kept on saaying they will send the receipt but still no update. Is this how MetLife works everywhere in the world?

I completely agree with you. Metlife India is the worst company, i have ever come across. No matter whom ever you send complaints, all you receive is an automated reply with a complaint number. I recommend expelling this company from India, repaying all the investors.

Yes!! same complaint as last years :-) Metlife will never improve. Thick skinned. ( thick leathered infact )

I have two polices. Paid the premium online one in August and One in october. Paid both in time.
Called them up in december 2nd week, one person said he will send receipts through courier...

No one got me the receipts... Called up again.. Asked them to send soft copies... Got emails but attachments did contaian nothing... Replied and got a mail saying they are unable to gmerate reports because of some TECHNICAL issues... So they mentioned that they have arranged for hard copies again, ...


Called up again... no luck... Emailed... no luck... Added Mr. G Janardgan ( first escalation ) on the 4th day of their promised service.. but I still have no luck...

I don't even have energy to say anything ... ALAS !! Any help WORLD ???? what is the best way to sue these people?

I HAVE TAKEN A POLICY FROM MET LIFE ON 7/11/2008 NO.[protected] PREMIUM 99000/-, WHICH WAS TOLD ME AS A SINGLE PREMIUM I RECEIVED MY POLICY BOND LAST WEEK & I STUDIED IT, I FOUND THAT IT IS A REGULAR 10 YEARS TERM POLICY.I CAN'T ABLE TO PAY AS A REGULAR PREMIUM KINDLY CHANGE MY POLICY AS A SINGLE PREMIUM OTHERWISE CANCELLED IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

I have purchased a policy from metlife( Policy No.[protected]. My half yearly premium is Rs.6145/-. This one is five year payment plan. Two times premium remitted.Even due date is over, my last Premium is not remitted, because of some issue relating my address correction. My address & telephone No is wrongly entered at the time of registration. It may be data entry mistake. I informed several time about this to my agent. But no correction is done yet the time. I am ready to pay my premium instalment and continue my policy till the date of maturity after correcting my address and phone no. So please give instruction to relevent team for immeadiate service.

MetLife — licence

i joined metlife as advisor from there i have taken the traning and passed the irda examination but the metlife refuse to give me the licence and using the abuse language.i have the welcome letter which i recive from metlife which proof that i passed the examination sucessfully.please help me

I want to see current status of my policy online. Policy No. is 00729047 Met advantage plus. I am not getting proper information from metlife. I have registered my policy before a week. Still I don't receive password on my email.
Now it is Sept. 2010. and still there seem to be no improvement at all. Even after recieving the payment, the co. do not send rhe reciept automatically. Customer has to ask for the reciept. They have some excuse or the other. Acknowledging payment is the prime duty of any company. Look how the big companys or banks are doing it! Sending SMS, sending E mails. I have bitter experience with them in the past too. I shall suggest NOT to trust metlife and run from them. There atitude too is wrong. Their business model is wrong.
