The Parcel contains an expensive Blackberry Phone.I have not received the parcel here in New Delhi Yet. The USPS people cant track it. However the track and confirm option on the USPS website shows certain details for acceptance of the parcel on 3 oct 2009, which is as follows:

Current Track & Confirm e-mail information provided by the U.S. Postal Service.

If the USPS dont have my parcel and the indian post also doesnt have it...where it has gone...? i didnt buy insurance on this parcel because i had trust on Indian postal service as USPS says that it has moved from there and it should be in India right now. But i think all my trust is gone now...can you please tell me what shall i do to find my Parcel...I am using this forum to seek your help as its meant for indian consumers..and i think indians can trust this forum at least...please dont let my hard earned money go like this and dont let my trust on my country down..kindly help...!!!

I have a similar complaint. On August 26, 2009 I sent a parcel containing a Blood Glucose Meter and some socks to my ailing relative by First-Class Mail International Parcel weighing 1 lb 4.3 oz to Dhanbad -826001, Jharkhand, India. Till this day (November 07, 2009), it has NOT been delivered. The tracking at United States Postal Service website shows as following:

Label/Receipt Number: LC[protected]U S
Class: First-Class Mail International
Service(s): International Letter
Status: Acceptance

When I tried to complain about the non delivery of the parcel, they say that it in Indian Customs or India Post Office juridiction and they cannot anything about it. For the last 50 years I have been in the USA and have sent gift parcels to my relatives in India periodically, but, this is the first time I am facing non delivery problem. I wrote to PMO for help to look into it.
By looking into at least two complaints, it seems that the problem of non delivery of First-Class Int'l Mail parcels from the USA to India could be wide spread. We, NRI, urge our Customs Service and India Post Office authorities to look into non delivery problems seriously. The NRIs are helpless. Please look into it.

Also, those who like to track the USPS mail should send by either insured or registered mail. Please do not send by only First-Class Mail but registered First Class Mail, if one prefer First Class Mail.
