MNP - Idea Cellular — What is MNP Cost? Idea charged Rs. 56 for porting! | |||
What is the official cost of mobile number porting? As far as I know, it is Rs. 19 officially and some operators may charge a few bucks extra. But how much extra can an operator charge? Is there any ceiling price? Can anyone throw some light on this issue? The reason for asking: yesterday I submitted an application for porting in my number to Idea Cellular's My Idea Hub at New Alipore Kolkata (its mentioned in ideacellular.com website) and they charged me Rs. 56 for this.
