[Resolved] Monginis — NON DELIVERY OF BIRTHDAY CAKE | |||
Order Memo number 91681 for a cake to be delivered on 11/10/11 at 11:30 order booked on 10/10 with full advance payment made. At 1pm, 1 & half hours after the commited delivery time with guests waiting at home, when I approached the store, despite admitting to have received the delivery from Mongini's on time at 10:30 that morning, I found to my horror that the shop attendant was actuially looking through the various order slips and realised that our order had been simply missed by oversight! The shop attendant could not provide any reason for the delay and was infact commencing to write the message on the icing only at stat stage. She advised that the store owner 'franchisee' was away and could not tell when he would return. Whne I asked repeatedly to speak with the present store in charge, she declined sayhing that he personwas busy taking other orders over phone and could not come out to speak with me. When the store in charghe ultimatelyu came out, she alleged that I was being unreasonable and that she could not taker responsibility for dealys [the small print on the order form does state this but certainly this is no excuse for sheer carelessness!] She aslo told me and I QUOTE << you can go an do whatever you wish and complaint to whoever you wish... nothjing will happen>> UNQUOTE CONGRATULATIONS MONGINIS ON BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE DISGUSTING APATHY TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND YET BEING ABLE TO DARE TALK TO YOU RLOYAL CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS !!!!!
