Dear Monginis Team,

I am writing to share a disappointing experience I had at one of your franchise outlets in my city. The store is located near Sant Eknath Rangmandir, Usmanpura, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

I had visited the store to purchase a Choco Bomb and requested the staff to serve it warm, as I usually prefer it slightly heated in the microwave – something I’ve done regularly without issue.

Initially, the staff member heated it, but it was still cold at the bottom. When I tried to get his attention again, he was distracted, listening to something on his phone, and ignored my calls multiple times. When he finally responded, I politely requested to warm it a bit more. He refused, citing the plastic covering, to which I responded that I am aware of it and just wanted it lightly warmed – as I’ve had it like this daily.

Instead of assisting, he became rude and said I should know what I’m asking for. I tried to explain calmly that I’m a regular customer and always eat it this way, but he continued to speak to me in a disrespectful manner. Even though he eventually handed over the properly warmed Choco Bomb, he did so in an irritated and dismissive way. While I was telling him he should change his attitude and learn how to talk to customers, he simply said “बरा जा” (okay, you may leave now) in a rude tone.

I understand the plastic cover concern, but my request was completely reasonable and based on experience. As customers, we deserve basic respect and courtesy. We are not asking for favors – we are supporting your brand and products.

I hope Monginis takes this matter seriously and ensures better training and attitude from staff at franchise outlets. I love your products, but this experience was truly upsetting.

With due respect I wish to inform you that I have purchased a packet of laddu from your store NEW CHANDRA CONFECTIONERY, Bagmore, Halisahar, 24 parganas North, West Bengal today at 11 am and when my family offered me one laddu from the packet I realised the laddu has fungus on its surface but at that time my father in law already eaten one laddu from that packet . I visited store and after my complain they realised that all the packets in the display were already expired as the last date o[censored]se was 24.08.2024. They were busy to return my money by exchanging with any other product but I didn't agree because who knows other product of your store is dengerous for my family health.
My concern is if your reputed store play with the life of people, how could we believe with your brand. I hope you will take some stos in this matter. I will wait for your reply and then complain to higher authorities.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent purchase of a 1.5kg cake from Monginis bakery. Despite my anticipation of a delicious treat for a special occasion, the cake I received fell far short of expectations.

Firstly, upon unwrapping the cake, I immediately noticed a foul odor emanating from the fondant covering. This unpleasant smell was extremely off-putting and certainly not what one would expect from a reputable bakery like Monginis. Additionally, the fondant lacked any discernible flavor, leaving the overall taste of the cake bland and unappealing.

Furthermore, the cake itself seemed to lack freshness, with the bread loaf appearing stale and dry. It was evident that the quality of ingredients used in the cake was subpar, leading to a disappointing culinary experience.

As a loyal customer of Monginis, I am disheartened by the poor quality of the cake delivered. I expect better standards from your bakery, especially considering the reputation it holds in the market. I urge you to address these issues promptly to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.

I would appreciate a resolution to this matter, whether it be a refund or a replacement cake of superior quality. Thank you for your attention to this issue, and I look forward to your prompt response.

I resently purchased your product a small Lotus cheese cake of rs.150 through your franchise at located in astron chowk rajkot.
It was very bad test quality of your cake I didn't expect from your company.
Improve your quality or product
Please take care of your frenchises will not sale idle product to anyone.

Hi.. my family members the outlet " Liza macroni" yesterday evening and bought chicken pie, Nimki and 4 cream rolls. Unfortunately 1 cream roll was exceptionally small . When we opened the pack, we realized the same and tried to return the same today morning at around 10 am. The staff denied a return rather than accepting the mistake. We have returned it at the outlet without the refund but such behavior will not encourage us to visit the outlets again. Your qc needs to he strong and the staff needs to be more caring. On 13th Jan between 9:30PM to 10:30PM i was charged extra for Carry bag on monginis store at Virat East ( next to railway station ) i asked them to give me the bill, i took the bill and as soon as I went outside I checked the bill and it didn't mentioned charges for carry bag so I went back in and ask them to mention it on bill and they refused, I told them it's illegal to sell a bag and charge for it if there is a brand logo on that carry bag but they took my bag gave me the money and didn't give a bill for carry bag nor the carry back

Today have purchased one zebra torte pastry and in pastry there was hair in between poor hygiene

I'm shankar sundaram. I bought half kg rasmalai cake from your a. V enterprises (Sector 34, kamothe, navi mumbai) branch.
The cake was sour and salty taste instead of sweet, we went to the shop to complaint our issue. Shop owner tasted the cake and she said it is perfectly fine. We are tried to explain she denied. Then 3rd person was there who was eating chocolate pasty. She gave to him and asked how is it.
The person taste the cake and said yes he was right (Me) cake taste has something wrong, its sour.
Then she said write feed back we will solve your issue.

50% cake i served to some children, now what about them health.

They already eaten the cake.

We really disappointed the shop owner's behaviour and service.

And one more thing she said cake has date barcode is it true? I have scanned there was nothing.

I have attached the bill and feed back letter.
I don't want my 500 rupees i want justice.

Today I ordered chicken 65 from monginis girish park and after taking the first two bites I found out something crunchy in my mouth. It was a big fried cockroach inside the 65. I immediately spit it out and clicked the picture and the people working there are my witnesses who also have the picture. This kind of mistakes should not just be fined but also prosecuted. A cockroach being inside someone's food is the most disgusting thing possible. This also has caused me having stomach aches . It must have been poisonous.

My name is Sonali Ghanti residing at Byculla. On 27th of October 2023 at evening I visited Monginis cake shop which is located at Jacob circle Saatrasta. I purchased Pineapple cake 1kg which cost 650rs which I paid online through net banking app, immediately amount deducted from my bank account and also displayed in account statement but the shop person was saying that he has not received the payment even i waited since long time but shop...

The amount said for cake was something different. Once the name is written on the cake the shopkeeper of Monginis Shop (J.P. Chawk, Siwan) asked excess amount which was completely different.
Such a looting behaviour of shopkeeper can not be accepted.

Hello, Varun Sonavane here we have bought Kitkat Almond Pastry on 8th September around 6:30 pm costed 140 rps (70rps/piece) from Monginis Cake Shop which is situated at 1/2, Swamibapa Smruti Mandir Rd, anand tenament, Ghodasar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380043.

So as soon we opened the box of the cake and ate all my family members including me had odor Smell coming from that KitKat Pastry and we were not able to eat that pastry after that.

We immediately went to that shop and told that shop owner of Monginis cake about this odor Smell. We didn't ask for any refund we just said check this pastry and replace this pastry with another pieces. He directly denied and said he will not replace it and was not speaking in proper manner.

Then we didn't wasted much time and kept that pastry in that shop only and came home. Still that owner didn't responded properly.

So we thought we should highlight this issue in consumer forum about this Monginis Shop. Our intention was not to take any refund but just exchange of pieces and let him know which quality of Pastry he is serving to customers.

It would be good if some one take this issue at high priority and take appropriate action against that Monginis Shop owner.

We are attaching the Photo of KitKat Almond Pastry which we bought.

We hope we will get some Swift resolution for this issue.

A cake was brought from Mio Amore shop under Axis Bank in Gol Bazar of Ashoknagar Kalyangarh Municipality.(Pin- 743222)It had been preserved for a few days. The shopkeeper said to bring the cake, but we didn't want to take it. He insisted that would be fine and give a discount so we brought it. It was a bad smell, test less so none o[censored]s ate it, if it was eaten, the body could have been bad, it was so bad, so you sell bad things in the market, they are not right, so I made a complaint.Later we called the shop and we took the cake and the shopkeeper returned our money but the money is not a big deal, this bad stuff should not be sold to the customer as it is a food item which may cause various health issues so please be careful and sell it to customers.

I had buy a cake from monginis cake shop dombivali east near station road on 15 july 2023. that cake was smelling bad, testing bad. i had right complaint with savita (friend name) name on complaint book. shopkeeper told me we will refund your amount within a week. still no amount has return and no communication from them.

One of your store at borivali west was having good service in old days.
however today we experienced a bad response from your staff.

there were 2 person inside Goyal shopping Centre branch of mongini
when we requested your staff to attend us.

he replied that "he was attending other customer"

on other occasion we would have argued with him but it was birthday so we avoided the conversion

the reply that he presented was not acceptable.

if he had communicated that "please wait for some time", we would have had no objection towards your staff.

lastly I have no issue with your taste, refunds, quality or to that extent the wasting my time in your service.

but the reply was not good. it was as if you are doing favor on me by attending my cake order and obliging me by writing my name on the cake

I brought cake from jafrabad maharashtra bakery it was 3 days older and rather sour in taste.

The cake got from Jafrabad Maharashtra was 2-3 days older was rather sour (आंबूस)

I purchased half kg Swiss chocolate cake from nallasopara West branch on 23 Aug 23, but it's teste is very bad like
may be they use low quality fat in that cake and i return cake on 24 aug 23.
Because on 23 Aug that Shop owner is not accepting that cake have some fault in it and so on next day (24Aug) i got confirmation from 5 people and all are agreed with this that cake have some teste issue.

The Pastry was yellowish and sour in taste like they were kept for 8-10 days. Not expected from monginis like this.

Monginis shop no.29 the employees were not welcoming and showed bad behaviour with non accepting eye gestures and very bad service.This happens daily . The moment we as well as other customers enter we encounter rude behaviour. I request you to take necessary action and transfer them since they are not suitable for this job . Such rude behaviour is not acceptable.
