Moser Baer — Bad after sale services

I hav puchase Moser Baer DVD player 4frm Opera House on 27 Mar 2009.
1 week ago suddenly it is not working even if i change d fuse(xtra fuse given by company).
I had complain on 28 july 2009. on phone no.39889000.
Till now one one has cum 4rm d co. to repair d it.

Moser Baer DVD Player — Replacement of a Malfunctioning DVD Player

Seeking your kind help regarding the belowmentioned mail which I sent to Moserbaer through their online feedback form from www.moserbaer.com.

If you read the mail then you would easily make out the problem related to. The buyer is really feeling helpless because he is from a village and he bought a moserbaer DVD player on the advice of the seller as he was said that it would play even scratched cds and they even pronounced the company to provide on site service if any malfunctions occur and unfortunately it suddenly stopped working after 10 days and when the service person came to have a look, the buyer asked him if the company should replace the product. But he said that they can not replace, instead they would repair it. Being a simple village person, the buyer(Mr.P.N.Das) did not utter a single word.

Amazingly that DVD player does not even play scratch cds when his very old ordinary CD player did pretty well which is pretty amazing. I have sent a mail from the belowmentioned mail address of mine to moserbear requesting a replacement and also sent the same mail to them through their online feedback form twice but without any response till today. Kindly help.
Why the companies misguide people and feed on the innocence of ordinary people while they pay for the product?

Being truly embarrassed and ashamed because I suggested him to buy the product from a very renowned electronic shop 'Great Eastern Trading corporation' located at 277/2/1 B.T.Road (Sinthi More) Calcutta 700036.[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected].

Now if you kindly help that person to get a replacement for the malfunctioning product, I shall remain grateful to you.

Hello. Heartfelt Greetings! This is Kaushik Mandal([protected]) from Calcutta. I sent you the same mail from your online feedback page a few days before. Actually a colleague of mine named Mr.Panchanan Das who lives at a pretty remote place from Calcutta. He wanted to buy a DVD player and I suggested him to buy your DVD player because I was told by a person at the Great Eastern Trading corporation located at 277/2/1 B.T.Road (Sinthi More) Calcutta700036 that your DVD player even plays scratched cds too but it doesn't. So He bought one from the same place mentioned above. But unfortunately the product started malfunctioning within 10 days and as he has to go for a tour, he placed a complaint after he returned on 08th July 2009. The complaint number is [protected].

I really feel embarrassed now because I suggested him to buy your brand, no offence meant. Your products are great but I am really feeling ashamed. Should not you replace such a corrupt product with another?

i have purchased moserbaer 2GB pendrive 4m ahmedabad 1 year ago..
even i have format the pendrive just 4 or 5 times..then also it is not working..
what is the solution.it is not detecting.

Moser Baer DVD Player — Poor services

Dear Sir,

I am very sorry to write this e-mail. This is also put as customer poll on consumer forum site for rating.

I purchased a Moserbear DVD player model MBI 838.

The power supply board of the player failed and I contacted the service center for repairs on 30th Nov 2011.
The service center technician visited within 48 hrs and said power supply board has to be replaced. He never turned up
For 2 weeks.

Then I contacted the incharge manager of service center, He talked to me on phone and shouted why the hell the the customer
Care service center person connects to me and disconnected the phone.

Then I contacted area incharge of service center western region. He helped me to get my set repaired with a old(used) power supply board
And charged me the cost of new power supply board and also took back my faulty power supply board. If a part is replaced of a unit and is charged fully the old part is the property of the customer.

All this took 2.5 months.

Looking at above details I feel we(customers) should think 100 times before buying a Moserber product.

i have purchased moserbear DVD at that time it is not working properly i complaint date 12-6-11 & 25-06-11 two time but there is no response from the dealer side or not company . i complaint two time it so that bad service of moserbear i am not satisfy
